Kurtis set me up with lights that had a solid warranty and made sure everything was done right. When I did end up having an issue--one of the ballasts went out--he handled it exactly how you'd hope. As soon as the replacement came in, he got me right back on the schedule, fixed it quickly, and had me back on the road with zero hassle. That kind of service goes a long way. This also isn't my first experience here. A few years ago, I brought in another vehicle for a tire and rim setup, and Kurtis hooked it up then too. Consistently good work and consistently good customer service. Had leaking 2018 Silverado 2500HD cab factory lights that dripped from the overhead…read moreconsole/headliner. The LED OEM lights come with a foam gasket which is known to leak when it ages. I may have "bumped" them in the winter time when clearing snow from cab and cracked one or two. Oops! After talking to staff, found out they did not have the OEM style smoked amber LED lights i wanted, but would install them if I got them. Just pay for their labor. I finally got the GM OEM smoked amber LED cab lights in from GM which had upgraded rubber gaskets. I set up an appt. and they got them installed. Rained heavily on 5/28 and the interior overhead console was dry as a bone and not a drip coming in. Great job and I highly recommend Extreme Auto Accessories for your aftermarket accessory/lighting installation needs.

At the time of this writing, my ride will still need to visit JW Customs and Restoration Services for finishing, as we needed to allow time for the clear coat to gas off before it gets color sanded to a mirror finish. Turns out battery was stolen with a date on it if 4/25. Working with Daniel at Muldoon O'Reilly's, can't find where battery was ever purchased, so not only is s he a liar, but a thief and hopefully not employed there anymore after 5/7/26 when I was given a free replacement battery by Daniel!!

My husband and I both have jobs that are difficult to get off of during the week. Since KD isn't open during the week, this has been a perpetual challenge. Additionally, we are a single car family and my husband needs the car for his job, so its almost impossible for us to address things that we don't feel are very important. Were we pissed? Absolutely. But it was esthetic, so lesson learned. But KD had promised us free tire changes with the life if the tires due to our purchase of custom rims, so we figured we would cut our losses since 2 changes a year equals over $200 a year. We figured KD was nice and they had earned customers for life with service like that. We liked the idea of buying bougie rims and tires her for our baby. Fast forward to our first seasonal change. Everything went fine. We have the receipt to prove it. But subsequent efforts to schedule a change over proved too challenging due to our work schedules so we stopped going here. Periodically we would call to see if they ever added weekend hours just during the seasonal tire over time, but sadly no. You'd think maybe they would do a Tuesday-Saturday thing or something.... but nope. Anyway, that's not what was the clincher that pissed me off. Finally in 2025 my husband has some seniority at work and is able to get a day off during the week off and drops the car off for the seasonal change over. And when he picks it up they charge him. And when he reminds them about our rims and their policy they refuse to honor it. What makes it worse is he posts his concerns Yelp, he gets a PHONE CALL from KD asking him to retract his review and they don't acknowledge that they every had a policy regarding free mounting and balancing. I call bullshit. I have the damn receipt. You can't put tires on a car without mounting and balancing. That's idiotic. Are you used to dealing with people who have no knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance?!?! I really thought this was one of the few quality vehicles places in town and am very disappointed to learn that is just another bunch of crooks who lie and swindle. There's nothing discount about this place. You want discount, go to Costco or something. I am the kind of person that prefers to support smaller business and pay a little more. But not if I'm gonna get lied to and cheated. Fck that.

Called 7/16 for a quote, called back 7/21 (no answer) and 7/23 (answered). On the phone, he said "next week" he could see my car and I'm like great! He says to text him my information and car troubles, so I did that same day. Didn't receive any type of communication for almost a week until today (7/30), I was still open to working with him until he offers me a slot and takes it away in less than 3 hours. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate, considering he didn't get back to me for almost a week. Then he hearted the message which seemed petty. Also here's a tip: don't talk to your customers like they're a burden and wasting your time (by your tone) because obviously I wasted my time with you.

Definitely give them a shot if you're in the area and need a spring wash!

I broke my electrical inlet box and it was a very old type that isn't available anymore. No problem. He put in a replacement that he had handing around, and got me back on the road. I really can't say enough about this shop. It's not a fancy place, but they are very competent and honest.

Now, Volvo is steadily making its money back through maintenance and part costs. This is a 2019 car (XC40) and, already, the driver's side seat heater stopped working. Tarn and his team looked into it, ordered another heating coil and...it still wasn't working. They said I would have to go to the Volvo dealership. You could tell that he said this with sadness in his voice. I have an appointment at Volvo for October 17th, they are charging me $200+ just to DIAGNOSE the seat heater issue. My previous car, a 2006 Acura TL, had 170,000 miles on it over 11 years and never had an issue with any of its seat heaters. Tarn was able to help with my 60,000 mile brake job. The brakes were grinding and his team replaced them for an eye-watering $1,570. After doing lots of research...that seems to be the going rate, not a hideous mark-up. Insane. It took a while for Independent to get the parts. I left my car with them while I was in Fairbanks for work for a week and came back and...they still didn't have the parts. They were kind throughout the whole process and explained to me the issues. And, when they finally attempted the seat heater (that they ultimately couldn't fix, sadly.) they gave me a Volvo loaner car to use, and they didn't charge me to diagnose the issue...as the dealership already has committed to.
