It is my first time seeing a Chiropractor, and I found this place on Yelp, and I am really glad I chose InMotion. I must note that for the best results, you need to keep your regular appointments and be patient; the healing process takes time. I am also seeing an acupuncturist, so I can't say that my results are 100% from my InMotion appointments. I remember how bad my pain was before my first visit, and the first visit really took the edge off, but it is taking more time to recover and get back to normal. I have also made one massage appointment with Brynn (sp?) as suggested by Dr. Hicks and that really helped with my recovery as well. The office is very nice and clean. The staff are awesome and really friendly; Dr. Hicks has a great personality and he really knows what he is doing. He identified other areas of my body that needed attention, and I am very grateful. Overall, I am feeling much better than when I first came in a month ago. I certainly don't dread coming here, it's great! I recommend InMotion without hesitation.

After a few sessions with Samantha, my mobility has greatly improved. She's great at finding problem areas I don't even realize are causing issues, such as tightness in my chest and quads. I'm back to lifting weights and doing yoga now and the pain is mostly gone except for when I'm working long hours. Something else I noticed is that she's amazing at opening up the tightness I have in my hands, wrist and forearm. I noticed that before coming to her, I wasn't able to spread my hand out very well while doing downward dog and that my thumbs would always curl in from too much mouse use. Now I'm able to fan out my fingers again. Check her out if you're looking for a good massage!

Since I ramped up more of a workout, it's been a lot more demanding physically on my body, and I found that I needed to put forth the same amount of effort and energy that I do into my workouts to also help me recover. I did try a few other places via trial memberships, and there are definitely some similarities, but one of the things that really helped me confirm was the staff and flexibility. Debbie & Mike are great... they help to answer questions, provide great feedback, and most importantly make it feel welcoming. The compression therapy, infrared saunas & red light therapy have been my go-to. Sometimes, depending on my mind/body, it calls for a bit more compression on some days or sauna. They also have a steam sauna that was the best to help me when I got really congested due to allergies. There are 3 individual tubs for ice plunge at 3 different temps, so depending on your preference, it's a great way to help in your physical recovery.... Just remember, breathe.... After the initial 15-20 seconds of shock, you begin to level out. I typically plunge once a week, but it changes as I always listen to my body! Coming here 3-5 times a week has been great and my body is responding well to the more intense workouts.

Receptionists seem to rarely be at the desk which is a minor inconvenience. I got a facial from Lisa with disastrous results - painful peeling skin and a red rash. I was offered a full refund which was awesome but Lisa had no idea what she put on me despite noting during treatment that I was having a bad reaction to something she put on my face. She then sent me home with the same product she said might have caused all of this in the first place. I think the professionalism and sense of responsibility as a healer wasn't there. I would not go to Lisa for a facial - she's really nice but you want someone who knows what she puts on your face and notes if you have a bad reaction, and shows up on time (she's been late every time I went to see her).
