But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. Plus the air filter was dirty and all it was to blame was a contactor relay in the AC condenser which only cost us $30 plus a from Amazon. plus a new Filter for about $20 and we were up and running. I get business is slow but but to deliberately make a false claim it is shameful.

So in the summer, instead of sucking in air from the inside of the house, it would be be sucking in 100F air from outside, making the AC inefficient. He took the time to drive to the store to get sealant to fix the leaks inside the intake box, and spent an hour applying the sealant himself. Did not ask for any extra money, did not complain, had a great attitude, and really wanted to make sure that he gave 150% effort to the customer. Then he re-tested the system and the system passed this time showing barely any leakage. Gave us the report and the paperwork needed for the building inspector. If you do your own HVAC upgrade without a city permit, you think you save money by not having to spend money on HERS testing. Nothing could be farther from the truth. When it comes to spending money, I'm cheap. I didn't realize that Jason's job is to make sure that the extra money you spend on upgrading your ducts/AC equipment to more efficient equipment is not in vain due to leaks in your ducts A+++ experience with using this company for HERS testing, and will recommend to others to use this company.

We pulled our permits as "owner builder" which was a hard project, but got through it pretty well. However, I had trouble understanding what this report was all about. We had a lil hiccup with our report, it required our plans to be modified, which he took the extra steps to help us overcome. He said that it is completely dirty and needed immediate attention to be cleaned or else my system will not run correctly. I was given a quote and he asked if I wanted it done the same day. He did not show any pictures or anything to support his reasoning. I declined the service because I got a new system less than a year ago. I got a second opinion from a different company. The technician took out the blower wheel, took it out and showed it to me. It was not dirty just a few specks of dust. That was all! It was not in a condition where it was dirty and required immediate attention as stated from the tech from this company.
