Right off the bat the server and staff were the ones to greet us and they were extremely sweet and welcoming, messing around with us and just had a fun personality overall. They actually gave us a sample of every single flavor which caught us completely off guard, and that alone helped us narrow it down to about 40 empanadas to take home. Yeah I said 40, and those were gone in two days. The dough on these things is so flaky and perfectly cooked, buttery in all the right ways. I was a little worried going in that the meat might end up dry but nope, you bite into these and the moisture just seeps out and smacks you with flavor immediately. We tried chicken, pork, beef, even the veggie one, and every single one was phenomenal. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the pork for sure, it had this savory taste with just a little hint of sweetness that matched perfectly with the pastry. I was on the hunt for a classic French omelet when I came across Alessia Patisserie & Cafe, and…read morethis place far exceeded my expectations in every way! As soon as I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful display of desserts. They have a huge selection of croissants, cookies, tarts, cakes, mini cheesecakes, and so much more--and everything is just as wonderful to look at as it is to eat. Even though I originally came here for the French omelet, there was no way I was leaving without trying some of the pastries. So I ended up getting the salted chocolate chip cookie and the lemon & raspberry tart, and I absolutely loved both! The salted chocolate chip cookie was soft and chewy in the center with just a slight crunch around the edges. The salt sprinkled on top really enhanced the chocolate flavor and gave it that perfect sweet-and-salty balance. But the lemon & raspberry tart was what I would call a nearly perfect dessert. It had just the right amount of tartness from the lemon and raspberry, while the light, fluffy meringue on top balanced everything out beautifully. Now for the savory food! I was so sure I was going to order the French omelet, but for some reason, the Blue Crab Crepe was calling my name. So I decided to go with that along with the Veggie Quiche, and I have absolutely no regrets about either choice. The Blue Crab Crepe came with two crepes generously stuffed with fresh-tasting blue crab and topped with lemon hollandaise and chives. The Veggie Quiche does take a little longer to come out, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Mine came with sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and basil, and it was delicious. The breakfast entrées also come with your choice of house potatoes, fruit, or a side salad. One thing to note: you order everything at the counter first before finding yourself a seat, and there is also a self-serve water station. From the beautiful décor and relaxed café vibes to the sweet AND savory food, I loved everything about this place. I originally came in searching for a French omelet and somehow left without even ordering one--which I guess just gives me the perfect excuse to come back!

I am not a vegetable person, but owner Rebekah is slowly making me a more well rounded and healthy eater. All her food I've tried is really good. Unfortunately, I've sampled so many things that I can't name them all. The veggie burgers stand out as some of the best I've had (though I am not an expert). The rejuvenation cleanse is amazing. After the 5 day cleanse you will feel amazing, but you can start with the 3 day version if you haven't done a cleanse and are nervous and will still feel great. It's not a laxative bomb, but more of a nutrient infusion. It will clean you out, but it doesn't feel extreme. I'm doing my 4th cleanse now, and feeling so good it is what prompted me to write this review. read more

I love this place; it's one of my go to places to eat. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Sure, for some people the portions are a little small, but I don't eat a lot in one sitting, so the portions are perfect for me. But I also don't think people should be eating that much in one sitting; our stomachs are roughly the size of a clenched fist when it's empty. But you must also remember that the food quality is much better than a lot of places. Anyways, I recommend this place to friends and clients all the time. It's great that they serve vegan and gluten free options, but it's even better that it's very tasty food. You don't usually find both in one place! read more
