He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation. I'd recommend him to any of my neighbors who may have similar issues.

During the quoting process I told him about concerns I had with the existing roof (venting, skylight and gutters) and he made recommendations on how they could/would address them. His quote was straight forward (no confusing options or upsells) and his team delivered what was expected. They started and finished the job on schedule. They did a great job keeping the work site clean at the end of every day and after final cleanup it was difficult to tell they had even been there. We've since had some heavy wind and rain storms come through our area and the roof and gutters have been solid. I really like the 6K metal gutters, and the leaf catchers are a very nice feature. There were some highs and lows in my experience with KVN, but with several months behind me to give…read moreme perspective, I believe I can write a review that will be helpful and fair. First are the things I did wrong: 1. I didn't get any other bids so I spent the entire project wondering if I was paying too much. 2. I didn't understand KVN is a contractor only - the trucks that come out to do the work are going to have different company names on them. That information is clearly stated in the contract but, related to #1, I didn't read the contract closely and missed it. So I spent most of the project wondering how much more I was paying to have someone act as a go-between with these other companies. 3. Because of #1 and #2, throughout the weeks it took to remove old siding, put up new siding, put up the gutters, and paint the house I was always on edge and quick to anger when something went wrong. Notable missteps by KVN: 1. There was some miscommunication about a small part of the house that they considered porch and I considered house. When we realized this, first day, I could see their position and asked how much it would cost to add that part. I had three different people tell me they'd get back to me with a cost - they never did. 2. Whoever they used for gutters had to take them down and install new ones twice - it was the third install that finally worked. KVN didn't catch the first errors (but maybe they would have if we hadn't checked first) but they did tell them to redo the 2nd install before we were even told it was done. 3. The painter painted the windows shut. We didn't know that until after everything was signed and paid, so we just fixed it ourselves. But the contractor is responsible for the work of the subs - so I'll call this their mistake. What KVN did right was they seemed to genuinely want me to be a happy customer. I didn't realize how much that mattered until a neighbor was having some work done and I saw first-hand the difference between having a contractor who is hoping to leave the customer happy (KVN) vs. one who just wants to get paid (the neighbor's). Made me think I was ready to write a review, I hope it was fair.

We had a house which was flipped with poorly installed vinyl windows, which caused extensive water…read moredamage. The flippers also didn't prep the siding properly so paint was bubbling/peeling/etc. We got many quotes, and about half said to replace the siding. We selected Prestige due to the knowledge and price. I did extensive research on them to validate that they do a good job, and went to see a job they had in progress to verify their workmanship. We worked with them to determine schedule, paint type, siding type, underlayment type, and water damage repair options/cost. They were very flexible with options and rightly adhered to workmanship which guaranteed warranty (vs my bad internet research suggestions on how to fix things). I'm very happy with their work and really appreciate the work they did. I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes just so you're educated on the method for fixing problems and the different types of materials and methods that people are using out there, then you're more capable of discussing fixes/options with the contractor that you select.
