Overcooked Popcorn chicken
Allie L.

Don't get the popcorn chicken. Past two times I ordered, it was overcooked. The meat is hard. Disappointing for the price almost $10 dollars. I had the spices on the side. The black part is burnt. I have not tried any of the other fried foods so I don't know if it's best to just avoid all the fried food or just avoid the popcorn chicken. If you do want to order it, best to check before you leave in case you need to have them remake it. The picture is the food ordered today.

It seems like TenRen is going through a rebranding of their teas and foods. I haven't been to a TenRen for a long time. Seating: Plenty of space to meetup with friends or do work Drinks: 913 Ginseng Oolong Milk Tea: 2/5 - seems misleading because we didn't taste any Ginseng in our drink. We also ordered it hot and wished it was a little hotter. Taro Teazer: 4/5 - good flavor! Evenly balanced, but a little on the sweeter side. Food: Popcorn chicken mild: 3.5/5, decent portion, tasted alright with the mild spice. Just reminds me of how it tasted before Service: Great service! Can't complain. Overall, I would come back again. No issues with my visit.

Osmanthus Oolong with soft grass jelly

I went to Green Shaker by Ten Ren to get a little drink after my last minute holiday shopping spree. The employees took my order right away during the lunch rush. There's a few places to sit & I had no idea that they sold food. Which I would definitely try next time I'm in the plaza. I got the Osmanthus Oolong Tea 75% sweetness with soft grass jelly. The osmanthus was floral and refreshing. I've never had soft grass jelly before and the texture was surprising and pleasant.

After dinner caffeine fix, Just needed a little something before the food coma kicks in. This is a really nice casual spot to hang out and catch up with friends. Not too loud, great staff. I think I'll choose this spot for a nice little game night. They have snacks, meals and good drinks.

This place is my favorite spot compared to all locations. Place is clean and spacious! The food never fails here. Today I ordered the Pork Bone Joy Pot with Udon noodles. I appreciated that the udon wasn't frozen and already cooked! Soup was made to perfection imo. Lastly, shout out to the staff. In particular, Christian who was very friendly and attentive. The energy and aura was radiating today!

Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It's already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.

Seating was good, it wasn't packed and pretty spacious. Place looks nice, just like the title says, mix of a sports bar and a variety of drinks for non alcoholics. Menu also had food, but didn't order any and stayed to hangout, play board games, and enjoy the beverages. Music wasn't too loud and we were able to talk among our group well. The love potion was a bit sweet, might need to reduce the sweetness just a little bit. The cold brew was spot on, not watered down and strong in flavor. Atmosphere and vibe was good and welcoming. We would like to come back when we have time to play games and enjoy boba drinks.

Cute and very clean establishment with great customer service. Their Thai tea Teazer with a scoop of ice cream was really delicious!

Nice staff--good food--busy place ! Love the drinks too. We beat the crowd ! Get here before 12:00

I ordered from them late (around 8:20pm) via Uber Eats for my husband, who was working late. I got the popcorn chicken and pork chop rice. Unfortunately, both meats were overcooked -- very dry and slightly burnt, as if they had been cooked more than once. Also, the pork chop rice used to come with ground pork sauce on top of the rice, but this time it was missing. The quality has really gone down compared to before. I hope the restaurant can maintain consistency even for later orders.

Soup noodle (substitute of rice)

This review is for a delivery order. Got the popcorn chicken rice but subbed for soup noodle and it was pretty standard. A bit pricy but you do get a small side of veggies and small size of potatoes. Overall it's 3.5 but rounded up bc you can always depend this taste of this place to be consistent and standard! Also got the wonton soup and it's what you would expect, their soup is actually pretty tasty.

Used to be my go to place for lunch, but haven't been here for 2.5 years (since the pandemic). The quality, popcorn chicken + green milk tea, is still very yummy. Popcorn chicken is probably the best quality around the area and the side dishes add a nice touch of fiber! However, the price has gone up substantially from before, 18+ for this meal. I get everything is more expensive now with inflation and all, but this increase seems a tad too much.

Yes, the only big difference is that they do not carry honey dew based drinks. Other than that I believe that is the only thing.

My service club was trying out different restaurants in Diamond and June's spot is Solo Hot Pot. We…read morecame at a good time for dinner and was able to fit our group in two tables pushed together. Each person orders their own thing, picking their ingredients and broth. They weigh your bowl of stuff (veggies, meat, seafood, noodles, etc) and it's $15.99 per pound. If you don't pace yourself, it's very easy to end up with an expensive bowl of hot pot. Mines ended up weighting a little over 1.5 lbs, so my hot pot was over $25 before taxes. Some broths also have an additional charge (like the tonkotsu is $4.95 extra), so keep that in mind. I picked the organic miso broth, which had no extra charge. My hot pot was pretty yummy since I got to choose exactly what I wanted in it and even though I ordered a little too much, I enjoyed it the next day for lunch. The sauce bar is included and they offer iced green tea with refills for $1.99 more. If you need a refill of the iced tea, you can let them know and they'll refill your cup. Very refreshing! Even though we paid separately, they do charge 18% big party service charge for groups of 5 or more. Parking was plentiful and easy in the plaza.

Definitely a hole in a wall!…read more Came here with my fiancé and future father-in-law (FFIL) because we decided to have dinner to late to go to our other vegetarian restaurant. And after a quick search on Yelp we came across Solo Hot Pot! We're all vegetarian AND we can't have onion or garlic. So that means our choices are limited.. BUT! After a quick call here we found out that they have 11 vegetarian broths AND neither of them contain onion or garlic! SCORE! I also have been wanting hot pot for the longest and my fiancé doesn't normally care for it but with my FFIL in my corner (he loves it too!) We decided to come here because it closes late as well! We came here around 8ish and it's in this dark parking lot that seemed so out of place.. But as we parked you see Solo Hot Pot just glowing.. Because all the other shops are closed LOL but we make our way in and it was much smaller than I thought! When you come in, to your left side you see a bowl as well as tongs to start grabbing what you want in your hot pot. It's just one long section (veggies in towards the entrance and meats towards the end) and after a close look I see that the veggies are frozen.. hm hm hm, I see you Solo Hot Pot, freezing them makes them a bit heavier when you go weigh it! (Cost is $15.99/lb) So I had to be strategic because 1. I don't want to build an expensive pot and 2. I couldn't eat as much as I have before so I need to get just enough to fill me without over doing it. You also have a variety of other stuff like udon noodles, ramens, ramen egg (UGH SO GOOD!) and other things too! We all chose our ingredients and made our way to the front and choose our soups: DISCLOSURE: If you CANNOT DO SPICY make sure you let them know in ADVANCE as you choose your broth! A lot of these soups are SPICY and my fiancé and FFIL learned the hard way because they can't eat spicy (unlike me LOL) but the nice thing is you do get unlimited soup refills (Not broths, just soup base) and tea refills if you buy their iced tea! Super nice! there's even a sauce station and you can add on rice for 1.99/bowl. I had to convince my fiancé to get some so he wasn't dying from the spice. Very interesting but you pay at the end of the meal even though you weigh everything beforehand. My fiancé doesn't normally care or like hot pot but he actually liked this place! So yay! We'll be coming back but making sure we don't have their pots to spicy LOL

I liked that there were multiple broth choices, such as mushroom, tomato, spicy, and hot and sour, which gave us some variety to choose from. The divided hot pot was also nice for enjoying two different flavors at the same time. However, the overall dining experience was just okay and didn't really leave a strong impression. While the variety of options was decent, the food itself was not particularly memorable. For an all-you-can-eat hot pot restaurant, I expected a little more in terms of overall food quality and value, especially considering that the dinner prices are higher than lunch. The experience felt fairly average rather than something worth going out of my way for. The restaurant has the basics covered, and it's a reasonable option if you're craving hot pot and want a variety of ingredients to cook at the table. However, there wasn't anything that really stood out enough to make the experience exceptional. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. There is room for improvement. Service was good , server was pretty kind and friendly.

We chose this restaurant because it was centrally located between our friend group. There is plenty of parking as this is located in a mall. There's a huge sign on the outside of the building my the mall entrance showing where Haidilao is. We had an infant with us and the staff brought out not only a high chair, but a toy set and offered a kids menu as well free of charge! We were blown away by the care! They also provided hair ties and aprons for us! The staff were extremely attentive during our meal. Any trash or empty plates were carried out within minutes. We went through many plates so we were constantly being visited by various staff caring for the table. It was also extremely clean inside! I saw staff cleaning the sauce area - down to the spaces between the diff sauce offerings. That's amazing attention to detail. We got the basic menu for the group. The meat quality was excellent - my only note is I wished they offered meat scissors! The strips of meat are pretty long and is tough to eat as one big bite and not the easiest to break apart with just chopsticks. The veggies were very fresh! We thought there would be more apps but maybe they were available in a different menu. No complaint because we were really full! I think there's a dessert cart which we'll need to check out next time. We got some mints after paying for our check and the staff actually gave us even more after we asked about the different flavors (the packaging was in Chinese). It's safe to say we will absolutely be back for the service and cleanliness alone!

It didn't really stand out to me in any special way. the ingredients you choose that actually go in the broth can be pretty expensive as they add up which normally shouldn't be too big of a problem except I felt it was overpriced. compared to other places, you're not really getting much food for what it's worth. I think we ended up choosing like 2 proteins and the enokki mushroom just because of that. on the other hand, I did like the spice bar, though I think not everything was included, and their drinks are actually pretty tasty and have a nice variety to choose from! I just probably wouldn't go again unless it was for a big party/group because again, for 2 people you can get more food at other hotpot places with more ingredients than here and at a lower price.

There were four of us, including my 6 year old nephew, and it turned out to be the ultimate family meal. Since it was my very first time experiencing hot pot, I wanted to go all out and try a bit of everything. So we ordered both the Wagyu Experience and the Mo-Mo Experience, which gave us access to all four delicious broth bases. While waiting for our main meat cuts to arrive at the table, we checked out the self serve area. Their savory Japanese curry is mouthwatering, and they had a cold noodle dish that was super tasty. I had to exert some serious self control not to fill up on the curry before the main event, but it was just so good. Once the meats arrived, my sister showed me how to cook them in the bubbling hot pot. Every single broth had its own unique, rich flavor profile, and every single one was delicious. The quality of the meat here is premium grade, and the marbling on the Wagyu beef was absolutely outstanding. I'd love to see where they source their meats because everything tasted ridiculously fresh, right along with the items at the veggie station where they offer over 20 different vegetables, noodles, and toppings. This place is also a major win for families. My nephew said he actually likes this place way better than Korean BBQ spots because smoke doesn't blow in his face! On top of that, I absolutely love that they offer a kids' achievement incentive for straight A students. It's such a wonderful touch for families. And I loved the ambiance with fun tunes playing throughout the restaurant. Just writing this review is making my mouth water thinking about the incredible food we had.
