Initially I was recommended by a friend to use Jon to fix my BMW's bumper due to a minor incident backing up about 6 months ago. He provided a fair quote and we decided to get this repaired on a Tuesday morning. The gentleman showed up on time, very professional and got the bumper repaired/sprayed. My only concern was: during the process he decided to move my car to get better sun lighting, but carelessly left tiny random paint drips on my leather steering wheel from his fingers (sigh and I wish this really didn't happen and would have been 5 stars). Overall his color matching was great, spray technique was a B and he never followed up to get the drips buffed out. Leaving the paint drips caused quite a headache for me honestly and for how new my M3 was. After 3 weeks I hired a mobile leather repair guy to get this fixed (cost $175). I feel bad for any reviews under 5 stars, but I felt an honest and constructive criticism was necessary here. For someone with high expectation and meticulous like myself...I probably will not use Green Recon again, I apologize. read more

I called Jonathan for an estimate for my Toyota Sienna and he got back to me promptly. I had curb rash damage the front bumper and someone swiped the rear bumper. See pictures. Jonathan was able to stop by the next day and finished the first part of the job in about 4 hours. He had to come back a few days later to wet sand the orange peel. The end job looks fantastic. One tip I would recommend is to ask how much it would cost to do the entire bumper. I would have had him redo the whole bumper and get all the tiny rock chips out since he's already there to paint it. Highly recommended. read more

Jonathan is a true artist! He matched the color perfectly, and Ruby Red is not that easy to match. My Mustang bumper and fender was scraped badly backing out of my garage, but Jonathan masked, sanded primed, painted, and did the clear coat in around 4 hours. Last june, Right when I was preparing to returned my lease, someone gifted me a pushed in dent and scrape on my rear bumper while my car was in a parking lot. I was pretty bummed out when my bumper took a hit. However, I reached out to these guys and they were able to see me in just day (I could not stand staring at my car's blemishes). They were on time, took about two hours, which I was completely okay with cause they took care of some small dings I hadn't even initially noticed (no extra charge). So far, same day write up, I am very happy with the results. You would never notice that it ever happened by looking. I recently had a small fender bender that ended up putting a couple license plate dimples in the rear bumper of the car, I needed it repaired as quickly as possible and I was worried I'd have to wait a little while for it to get done. I recently received a replacement brand new Corvette Grand Sport in Black Rose Metallic (tough color and finish to match) from the manufacturer and the dealer chipped the paint changing emblems. Jonathon did an amazing job painting my front bumper. My bumper was full of chips from flying rocks and was marred by old bug and bird poop stains. Jonathon first skillfully prepared the bumper. He carefully masked the bumper and sanded it smooth. He then painted the bumper with the exact color. You cannot see any difference from the rest of the vehicle. His masking was perfect. There was no overspray and no lines after tape removal. All of this took only a couple of hours. This was impressive. read more

Aaron worked on my 2006 Jag, black in color and a Lexus RX also 2006 in light blue. My email to him photos of the work that I wanted except the hood photo did not show enough detail. He quoted me $500 for the work for the Jag and $500 for the Lexus. When he came to the house he looked at the work, including the hood in question. He stated the hood just need to be "blended" After only 2.5 hrs he said he was finished. I looked at the hood and with dust and some debris on the hood I couldn't tell how good the work was. He said not to wax the cars for at least 3 weeks as the paint could be washed out. After 4 weeks I had a detailer come by and work on the Jag. He stated that the hood was not done very well if at all. He was so convinced that he was willing to state that in writing. When I called Aaron about the work on the hood and the time he spent he stated he doesn't do hoods! He said the time was well spent even if it was $400/hr. His reasoning was that it would have been a lot longer if a body shop did the work. Well ya. Body shop would sand, fill the chips, spray base coat then spray the clear. He's comparing apples with oranges. All he does is match the paint and air brushes. I just don't like to stiff anyone so I paid him and gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until I had the car detailed. He left a lot of chips on the bumper and did an incomplete job on the top of the rear fender. This guy has limited talent. Paul S. read more
