I called to ask for more information about their services and they answered all of my questions without any pressure to sign up. I appreciated that they explained in advance which products they would use and gave me a realistic timeline on how quickly we'd see results. Once I signed up, they were able to send someone within a few days. Their service technician Brad showed up right at the start of the 2 hour window and he was truly courteous and professional. He told us which products he was using and how they worked, and gave us a fact sheet as well as some pre-baited traps to use if we saw more ant activity inside the home. He also removed wasp nests and even filled a small hole in the crawlspace vent on the exterior of our house, which I feel was really going above and beyond. After the service was complete, I got an email with all of the details of what was applied and where, which I think is an excellent practice. It's only been a few weeks since the first treatment, but the number of ants inside our home went down pretty quickly and lately we haven't see any at all. I do understand we may see more as the ants move through their life cycle, but I'm really pleased with the results so far.

The administrative functions (scheduling, notifications, billing) have been consistent and flawless; the service calls are non-intrusive and very effective, apparently, since I'd been warned that rodents are a pervasive problem in this manufactured housing community and I've had no rodent problems the whole time. Recently, between visits, I found a dead mouse in my garage. I called to request its removal and got an immediate response. It was gone within an hour, and I got recommendations for plugging some holes the technician had noticed around the base of the garage. I'm glad I discovered Burgin Pest Solutions shortly after I moved into my new home. Thank you, Shelley and Matt!

The service that EcoPest provides seems to be well worth the cost. I think the big thing is that if the monthly service was not adequate, or you need additional pest work done, they'll do it free of charge (if you are paying for the monthly service). If you are experiencing serious pest issues more than once a year, I'd probably think about paying for the monthly service. Pests like rats and carpenter ants can ruin your home, chewing through wood and wires which can cause irreplaceable damage.

He recommended that for the most effectiveness, the best time of year to address our infestation was in the early spring. Pete was very responsive in getting back to us whenever we reached out. His crew was at the job site on time and completed the work on schedule. He did a great job of explaining what they were doing and making sure it was done properly. He also provided guidance on steps we could take to address some of the other pest issues we had been experiencing. We give Pete five stars!
