The service that EcoPest provides seems to be well worth the cost. I think the big thing is that if the monthly service was not adequate, or you need additional pest work done, they'll do it free of charge (if you are paying for the monthly service). If you are experiencing serious pest issues more than once a year, I'd probably think about paying for the monthly service. Pests like rats and carpenter ants can ruin your home, chewing through wood and wires which can cause irreplaceable damage.

The staff answered the phone and got me scheduled right away. The inspection crew that came out was very thorough identifying places where the squirrels were entering. They kept me informed every step of the way and took photos of the problem areas. They wrote up a proposal so there were no financial surprises and the proposal comes with a year guarantee. Samuel V came out today and closed up all the open spaces. He too was thorough and kept me informed and also showed me photos of the work. I highly recommend.

If I had a business, I would consider myself really lucky to have such an employee. He went under the house, found evidence of a new rodent incursion and then covered the whole property to mend the holes in mesh that covered crawlspace vents, set traps and then came to explain what was going on under my floors. He showed me pictures of both the problem areas and areas that appeared secure under my house. We then walked the house perimeter to show where the critters likely got in there during the recent snowstorm. I'm confident in the accuracy of his assessment. He'll be back in a week to check on the traps. I have needed a new vapor barrier down there so I will be getting a bid for that as well. All in all, the pricing was fair and the service exceptional. I did not want any poison used as I have dogs that I need to protect. Job well done. Thanks, Sebastian.

After that other contract was over I found a pest control company the right way- I did an internet search and found a few candidates and read some reviews, and concluded that Aspen looked like the best prospect. Since then they've done a pest control service visit four times a year and I have had very little problem with any pests during that time. It's always hard to know for sure how much it's helping because you don't know how well it would be going if you didn't have the service, but it has been going well and I have always been very pleased with the professional and friendly attitude of the Aspen personnel.

Based on yelp reviews I called them. After confirming the type of termite (dampwood) Pete said not to do anything because they only live in that sort of soggy wood and they'd be gone in an hour. He was right! He then reassured me that they'd leave the house alone. I'd have spent a LOT of money if he'd told me I needed to get rid of them, so I'm extremely grateful for his honest advice. Over the summer, we discovered subterranean termites under our bathroom flooring and requested quotes from multiple companies. We chose Pete because we sensed a high level of integrity and trustworthiness when we speaking with him. He was very knowledgeable about termites and explained the extermination process in great detail. He recommended that for the most effectiveness, the best time of year to address our infestation was in the early spring. Pete was very responsive in getting back to us whenever we reached out. His crew was at the job site on time and completed the work on schedule. He did a great job of explaining what they were doing and making sure it was done properly. He also provided guidance on steps we could take to address some of the other pest issues we had been experiencing. We give Pete five stars! We wish all of our contractor experiences could go as smoothly as our project with Pete.
