This has been my go to place for the last 4 years, they always do a great job and my nails last and look great.

I've been to this salon just 3 times now and they've done a great job and are friendly. The price is on par with other local salons. The quality of the salon I had been going to went down while the prices stayed high. They did the minimum they had to and sent you out the door. BEST PLACE EVER! Literally cannot get enough of these nails! The nails are gorgeous IM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED! Every women took their time, making sure each nail looks perfect! The ladies were angels on this earth, sweetest ever! They even helped me better reach the color I wanted when it didn't come out exactly like the photo. They followed the reference photo to a T!!!!! I have been going to Mint for at least 3 years. I go every week, so should be well known. They NEVER honor appointments. Usually, I don't mind. But, it hasn't gotten VERY BAD. The customer service is awful and because they are so busy they end up rushing through appointments and my polish chips in a day or 2. I made an appointment for my daughter and I for Saturday. They were able to take my daughter right away, but I had to wait 30 minutes. I said I would come back another day. Today is Monday, I called and asked for an appointment they said come now (20 minutes). I arrived and too busy AGAIN. They told me to come back. And, did not like when I tried to explain the reasoning behind appointments! Needless to say, I will go somewhere else! read more

I called this place around 6 yesterday asking if it was too late to come in they told me to come on in. I had acrylic nails on that needs to be taken off which is a process and I got a manicure afterwards - they looked great! There were 3 ladies there - Kathy, CiCi and another I didn't catch. I decided to come here after reading the great Yelp reviews, and had a pleasant experience. When I arrived, I was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. I appreciated that they were upfront about this. They seem to give pretty honest wait times - I think some places say they'll be available sooner so you won't leave. I was happy with my pedicure ($25). It still looks good about a week later. I also appreciated that they offer massages while your nails dry - many places don't offer this anymore. And it was a great massage! I will come back to Mint next time I'm in town. read more

I went to Mint for the first time to purchase a gift card for a friend that likes this salon. When I got back to my office I noticed there was a tax charged to the gift card. By CT State Law you are not allowed to tax a gift card. I called the shop and spoke to the woman and she said it was because I paid with a credit card. I said that should not matter and she did not tell me there was a credit card fee. I asked to refund the credit card and I'd come back and pay with cash. She did not know how to do it and kept saying she was busy and would have to ask her husband. She then hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked her how she was going to let me know what her husband says if she doesn't have any of my contact information? She kept saying she was busy and would have to ask him. I asked her to ask him right now and I could come to shop now. She had a side conversation with him, then came back and said what's your name and phone # and then hung up on me again. I have yet to hear back from them... To me it is about the principal, not the money - what they are doing is wrong and they are not trying to rectify the situation. I will not be returning again, that's for sure! read more

You know when you walk into a nail joint and the music is pumping and the place is just buzzing? Well, this is NOT that kind of a place! It is serene and relaxing - from the music to the decor to the technicians and owners, everyone creates a relaxing, pampering environment. Let's remember this is a "storefront" spa - not some big "day spa" with a huge waiting room as buffer. The pedicure chairs are new, everything is spotless. In winter they give free paraffin wax dips for hands. Their selection of "special" pedicures is really nice and worth the extra money for the foot massage and chair massage time. The technicians will offer green tea or water - it's a nice "high end spa" touch that they bring to the experience. The selection of polishes are excellent (Essie, OPI plus various gels and fillers) and my pedicures typically last a solid 7-10 days. My manicures are usually a 3-5 day duration, but I'm on a computer for 10 hours every day plus washing my hands, cleaning my house, etc. I've had a brow wax there once and it was adequate. Not my most favorite, but great in a pinch when I didn't have time to run across town to my aesthetician. No attitudes, no nonsense. Just a nice and serene place to escape for 30-90 minutes! read more

This is a small but exceptional place. They aren't pushy and only want you to be comfortable and happy. I came in for the first time and wanted to have a pedicure. They took me immediately and say me in a state of the art massage chair. I chose to have an extra callous removal treatment, which I so desperately needed, and it couldn't have cost more than an additional $10. $35 total for a superb pedicure that included a paraffin wax treatment fir my heels at no extra charge. Soft classical music in the background. A wonderful shoulder a back massage at the end was a real treat! BEING A DENTAL HYGIENIST, I ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF THEY HAVE AN AUTOCLAVE TO STERILIZE THEIR INSTRUMENTS, they do!! This will be my regular place from now on! read more

I recently went to mint nail salon, they have amazing service and make you feel very comfortable. They also give a student discount, not to mention that you can get a mani pedi for 40 dollars. Also, this is a nice place to go if you want to see a movie or get frozen yogurt because it is only a seven minute walk and 3 minute drive to the movies.This place is great and I would recommend it to all of my friends. read more

Beautiful nail salon right in the Wilton town center. Very posh and relaxing. Everyone is super nice!! For a $12 manicure, they provide a great paraffin wax treatment, heated towels on your lap with a mini-blanket, and they take extra care in treating your nails just right. Esther has been doing my nails for about 4 years & I have followed her to other salons. She's now opened her own salon & I'm thrilled to have her back in Wilton. She has always done my nails perfectly. Her new salon is very warm and welcoming, not like all the other salons which are huge. I can't say enough about Esther. She is vey accommodating, is a perfectionist and always makes sure her clients are happy! Along with Esther, her staff is just as accommodating; she wouldn't have anyone working for her that isn't accommodating and a perfectionist in their craft.
