    Tex-mex chicken salad. Amazing

Had the grilled chicken avocado panini and the tex-mex salad, both were amazing. Really wish there were more places like this around the valley.

Can this place get any worse? A zero rating would be appropriate. A long wait for burnt food from rude staff!

We had every intention of trying a new gelato place, but apparently they observe "Closed on Sunday"…read moreas a personality trait. So we pivoted and ended up here, which turned out to be the best audible we've called in a while. First of all, the flavor selection is enormous. I'm pretty sure I blacked out halfway through reading the case and had to start over. Every time I thought I'd decided, I'd spot another flavor and completely abandon my previous life plan. If indecisiveness burned calories, I would've offset the entire cone. The staff was genuinely friendly and patient while we stood there debating like we were making a major financial decision. And the ice cream? Ridiculously creamy. The kind that makes you slow down and question why you ever waste time on mediocre desserts. All in all, a happy accident. We came in disappointed about gelato and left wondering if we should just start "accidentally" coming here every week.

After having dinner, I was still a bit hungry so I stopped in here to get a fruit snack…read more I had never been to La Michoacan Premium but knew about it so decided to give it a try tonight. Woman at the counter was nice and helpful. I told her I wanted a fruta loca (literally translates to "crazy fruit") and that I wanted mango and jicama. I also told her I can't eat spicy and spoke a little Spanish to let her know, "poco pica." She then asked if I wanted chamoy, tajin and lemon and I said yes. Just no hot sauce. I got a small size and after about 10 minutes, my order was ready. My fruta loca was delicious and so fresh! Mango and jicama were so yummy! My only gripe was that my order came to $14, which was a little steep and may have been a mistake. Ill be back and next time will try a mangonada or maybe a tostilocos or elote! Really nice spot, very bright, well lit and clean! A very nice Mexican treat right here in Tempe!

This season I especially want to call out Lorenna Gallagher from Seeds and Good Deeds. She sold me the freshest eggs I've ever had. The yolks were deep golden and rich, and the flavor was noticeably better than anything you'll find in a store. Lorenna is part of a Phoenix collective doing urban gardening in the Phoenix and Tempe area and giving back to the community. Hearing about how she carefully raises and feeds her chickens, and recently expanded her flock, made the experience even more impressive -- and you can absolutely taste the difference. Be sure to seek out Seeds and Good Deeds when you visit the market. Supporting vendors like Lorenna is exactly what makes a local farmers market special.

I live close by and wanted to show my mom this farmer's market and this is one of the few markets that operate on Sundays. The best one I have been to in the Phoenix area is the Uptown Farmer's Market, so if you come to this one, you'll be disappointed. Its still fun to come here and check it out and today when we stopped by there was a music artist playing a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody and that made the trip worthwhile.
