I have to agree with the other 2 star reviews this place is not comparable to other saladworks in…read morethe area. The salads are smaller. They don't mix in the dressing but only put it on the top. They don't have the same selection of toppings. And somehow they charge about 40% more than what I paid a few weeks ago for the same salad by Valley Forge.

We wanted something light for a quick lunch since we were planning on a big supper later on. There…read morewere at least six eateries at this outlet mall food court (Philadelphia Premium Outlets). Salads were good here--perhaps not the best that we ever had, but they were fairly decent for a food court eatery. All plates are priced at $10.99. Serving size were decent for the price in the area. Cleanliness...you can't really talk about this since it's in a food court. It wasn't too bad, but not great, either. You know, it's a food court. Farmer's Market Salad (photo): 270 calories. chopped kale, spring mix, roasted turkey, roasted butternut squash, roasted brussels sprouts, honey roasted pecans, and feta cheese. Recommended dressing: apple cider vinaigrette. Dressing served on the side only. Buffalo Blue Salad (photo not taken): 350 calories. Romaine and Iceberg blend, buffalo chicken, grape tomatoes, banana peppers, tri-color tortilla strips, and blue cheese crumbles. Recommended dressing: blue cheese. Dressing served on the side only. It presented a very good alternative to your usual burgers, sandwiches and Chinese lunch plates.

It was enough to share, and as there's a lot of food coming, it's not a bad idea to do so. They were absolutely yummy! Next they served fresh made Afghan bread, made on the premises daily, and a very fresh salad, served family style so we could help ourselves. The bread is interesting. It's not quite a flatbread, not quite a yeast bread. But they were both excellent. By now I was getting full, and we still had our entrées to come! What drew me to this restaurant was its good selection of meatless entrées. I got the Chalaw Banjan. which was a slow-simmered eggplant stew with warm spices. It was served with a plate of Afghan rice, and mixed together this is top-notch Afghan comfort food. The owner said this was her favorite dish, and I see why. My sister got a lamb stew dish called Qurma Chalaw. While she said it was good, she thought mine was also delicious and preferred that one. High praise as she claims to dislike eggplant! There are delicious looking home baked treats for dessert, and they do brunch for one hour daily, except Sundays. That's a little strange for brunch. We were completely stuffed after the meal, so no room for dessert. Another time!
