I ordered the Traditional Gyro with french fries. The service was quick and welcoming. The food was amazing. French fries can sometimes come below average being a side dish, but their french fries were perfectly done with the perfect crisp and quantity. The gyro was jam packed and full of flavor. This place recently moved into the High Street terminal and I am glad for it. Good gyro spots are hard to come by in the area. Their food is of solid quality. I ordered the spicy gyro pita. Perfect meal after a days work. I will be hitting these guys up a lot now that they are in town. I noticed the menu has both shrimp and calamari mykonos ( also called saganaki). If you never tried this, I urge you to. The wraps are great, but you dont want to sleep on the apps or salads. Friendly staff. Order was completed fast. Plenty of seating. This was a lunch visit and we all got gyros. All 3 were awesome, we got a chicken, a standard and a spicy. They were quite large and they are rather messy, my wife never attempted to pick hers up. I couldn't put mine down, it was so good. The pita bread was very fresh and delicious. Service was spot on and the food came quickly after we ordered. Other notable items:this is BYOB and the main entrance is on the side of the building where you will find plenty of parking. This is some of the best Greek food I've had! And the portions are amazing! The owner came out during our visit and talked to everyone, making sure we were enjoying our food! It's not really a eat in restaurant more of a take out. It's counter service and even if eating in everything is served in Styrofoam contains with plastic silverware. Portions are generous and food was good. Its like reading terminal in Philly but no heat during the week days. So we are with our coats on. The vibe is one of coming to visit a family friend where you'll get an authentic home cooked meal all the way from Greece. Then to top off that experience, the food is truly delicious! Came to eat here lunchtime on 03/15/20. I was the only person in the restaurant at 12:30 pm. I know we're in the midst of the Corona Virus scare, but I had heard too many good things about this place to not go. This place is incredible. The staff was very friendly and the food is amazing. Very large portions and the quality is excellent. No sacrificing quality for quantity. The hummus is so creamy and smooth and the tadzhiki was bright and fresh. Stopped in for dinner on a recent Friday evening when we were in Pottstown. Let's start with the food (most important for any restaurant) - everything we had was absolutely delicious. We had their traditional gyros, their spicy gyros (I think they called it Vera's gyros), as well as their Horiatiki salad (highly recommend, by the way). Everything tasted fresh & flavorful - well prepared and wonderful flavors. It's a family run operation - the owner is warm & inviting - makes you feel like a part of his extended family. His kids work in the restaurant, as well, and they take very good care of the customers. We definitely want to go back, and we need to try more of the different items on their menu. The food is great but the portion sizes are huge. I got a pasta and chicken dinner, and there might've been an entire box of pasta in it. I mean there are restaurants out there that charge the same price for a quarter of the portion size. The owner could be making 4x the money! First impression was a very clean place with a wide open seating arrangement that allows for a quiet conversation, without being blasted by noise from other tables or the kitchen. The much awaited Grand RE-OPENING!!! This Family owned gem IS BACK! And not a day too soon. The community needs the delightful Greek / Mediterranean fair these folks are dishing up! We stopped by Friday night and I reacquainted my taste buds with there Traditional Gyro. With the way they prepare this original Greek handheld...it is really hard to hold it in your hands...these are stuffed. Their meat is delicious the veggies are fresh Tzatziki sauce just wonderful. They paired back their menu a bit to make sure they aren't wasting the exceptionally fresh food, so you have to get there and support these folks so the full menu can get back in gear! They made my wife their infused rice, because she was saying how much she missed it, despi6the fact that it isnt currently on the menu. I loved my gyro so much, I had my wife stop off on Saturday when I was on my way home from work and get me their Vera's Spicy Gyro...crazy good. This week we will be diving into the rest of their menu.
