I got the omelet with home fries, the home fries were not good, but the omelet was delicious! My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles. There was one singular piece of chicken on the waffle, but other than the small portion, he said it was good. On our way out, we saw that the potatoes are stashed in an open tin under the stove, very close to the ground where the cook walks. Not the best thing to see but other than that this was an overall decent experience.

The food was great, the coffee was hot, and everyone was so friendly. I got the Venezuelan breakfast, which I've had before and liked a lot. It is both filling and satisfying. She got a veggie omelette, which I'd also like to try some time, and said it was absolutely delicious. When we finished, everyone came over to sing happy birthday to her, and they brought out a piece of Tres Leches cake. She had never had that before, and just flipped for it! Who does that for breakfast? It was absolutely wonderful and made my friend feel so special. Thank you to the staff there, as it got her birthday off to a wonderful start.

The flavors was there then that after taste of the liquid smoke over powered the bbq taste. We had the brisket cheese steak, pulled pork sandwich with habanero bbq sauce, Texas bbq platter. Portions were big enough to share. I just wish I could've enjoyed it. But I had to throw it out I couldn't not eat it with the fake smoke taste. $50.00 down the drain It's tasted like plastic, I Would love to try it again without that liquid smoke.

There are a few people in line and it took longer than we have anticipated, so probably order ahead if you can. We ordered three burgers (regular and the spicy versions), all are very good. There is no lettuce or tomatoed. The sauce is good. We also ordered some beef brisket (weekend) only and it was tasty. The only thing we are not happy with are the corn bread with honey butter. The two we ordered are completely broken into pieces (didn't check at the counter, but they shouldn't even put these out and pretend this is OK, Any good restaurants will not send these out). And we are also not sure if we got the honey butter version, the corn bread itself is just plain corn bread, there are couple dipping sauce on the side, but it doesn't have a strong honey or butter taste.

Ou waiter was very friendly and attentive even though it was pretty busy for a week night, consequently it can be a little noisy with the tables a little close. We were seated right away, a little early which is always nice. The disappointing part of the evening was that there weee no dessert available-truck didn't show! We were so looking forward to a sweet treat! Plus the 3% added fee for a credit card is always a bitter pill. At the end of the day love the food and always bring cash. This Cork is Twisted…read more......... Another local restaurant opening for date night- yea!, we were excited! 3 weeks ago (July 11), we spruced up for the night and headed to our 6:45pm reservation. We arrived and were greeted immediately at the hostess stand, we were sat quickly and took in the scene. It's a very open space, decor didn't give cool, classy wine bar. Rather just a run of the mill restaurant. The bar area is large and there's a wine shop in the back. We were surprised at how many open tables there were for Saturday prime time dining. And with that how much the voices around us echoed. But all in all we were comfortable. Our server arrived. She was nice, however obviously novice. We ordered a round of drinks. No Bombay Sapphire for my martini so I sufficed on Bluecoat. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned (with I think a wine floater). We contemplated apps and entrees..... We tried. We hoped, we wished for the plates we chose- We kept getting denied. Initially requested the calamari. A few minutes later our server returns- No calamari salad. Let's try for the short rib cigars. Hung out for awhile more. No go. She returned with additional words of disappointment. Ok- She suggested the brussel sprouts and my husband ordered wings. Now we hit the third strike. She again returned with notice of another item they were without. While it was just sauce......we wish we were sauced enough to not be annoyed. No honey mustard. At that, we decided it was going to be an apps only dining experience. In review of those- the Brussels were roasted well. Charred but not to a crisp that killed the veg, the glaze on it was great, would've loved more blue cheese. My husband's wings (now in mild), tasted fine. Fairly small, but ok. We had a gentleman check in on us at the table and honestly gave our feedback. Our experience and this review would have improved if our waitress was trained to be proactive. Be forthright and open immediately on what offerings are not available. Instead we had the one, two, three of feeling like dumb customers in asking for things that weren't available. If service was better, we may have returned for a full meal, sadly we will not. This already is pop, pop...fizzled out.

The service was just okay, but the environment is definitely not kid-friendly. They didn't have any drink options for small children, and out of the three items on the kids' menu, they were already out of the mac and cheese. Instead of standard chicken fingers, they served cutlets cut into strips. The adult options weren't much better--they were out of the coconut shrimp, and the peach margarita tasted awful. While the avocado toast looked appealing, the bread wasn't actually toasted. Lastly, the portions are incredibly small; my burger came with less than a handful of fries. We will not be returning to this establishment.
