    They have self checkout station
    Diana S.

Walked in and was not greeted at all. Staff seemed super busy and overwhelmed with orders. I was not sure how to order and waited for someone, and gave up and saw their self check out kiosk, so I used it. I was not given a time on how long it would take to complete. No direction and just annoyed because of it. They do keep busy because I always see people in and out of this spot. Staff seem pretty cranky and annoyed with each other. Not a comfortable dine in experience. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and large fries. The fries were okay, but their grilled sandwich was very good. The service and environment will not bring me or my family back.

    Overly greasy/soggy tater tot container

Have ordered here several times through DoorDash and our food usually comes cold, the fries and tots very soggy and undercooked. Today I tried going there and ordering take out myself only to have the same thing happen. We even started eating our food in the car and the tots & fries still very soggy and undercooked. I can understand this happening when a place is very busy but there was only 3 people sitting down in the entire place. There was no one else in line. It's sad that a food service establishment can't even serve their own products in an edible form. Everyone working there should either be retrained or replaced. Serving anything undercooked is dangerous. The one picture shows the container my tots came in. You can see how greasy it is and the huge puddle of grease left at the bottom. Management really needs to step up their game. This shouldn't happen on 3 different DoorDash orders and a take out order.

While I have two semi-local Wayback locations, I haven't been to either in years. Part of it is location but a lot of it is price in relation to what is being rendered. We rumbled in here last weekend late afternoon and aside from one other couple the place is deserted. The order was simply four of their "classic" burgers with various different topping combinations. What worked best was actually the yuppie/hipster brand of black cherry and root beer sodas they offer. They're nothing extravagant but because of the cane sugar sweetener they are very good. The burgers are...ok. Look, if we want energy independence from OPEC we just need Wayback to make more burgers which we could then use for drilling because there is plenty of oil/grease in those puppies. The taste is there but so is the (Burp!) aftertaste. Noteworthy are the cumulative amount of cheese choices, veggies and sauces you can add on for free. The average person should be more than covered. Even though no other orders aside from ours were occurring it still took 15+ plus minutes for them to bring the food to the table. A lot of this was due to the talking/goofing around from the staff. No one was what you would call in a hurry. Back in the day Wayback offered a burger of the month or some kind of special. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see any verbiage about something like that currently going on. The whole fresh not frozen thing is to me an overrated marketing gimmick. Seemingly everyone does that now. What else do you have to offer that is unique or that differentiates you from the myriad of burger places that are everywhere? Some people want to group Wayback in with places like Smashburger or Elevation or Shake Shack but I don't think that's applicable. The difference is that the aforementioned places either attempt to pimp/hipster their burgers which is why they charge a premium for them. With Wayback it's all about simple. If you're in the mood for greasy ass patties that are smashed on the flattop then this is your spot. If not then you're going to feel like you didn't get your money's worth.

Supposed to be a vanilla milkshake. Um I'm not sure what this is but tasted like spoiled milk.

We have come here in the past and the food was ok if you want a greasy hamburger. This is your place. Today 01/21/2024 the food was horrible, and the milk shake was made with something other than ice cream. It tasted like spoiled milk. I know they are very busy, but you need to great your customers and have a much better attitude when dealing with individuals. My girlfriend keeps me in my place, or I would have walked out. We will not be going back.

Plastic wrap cooked into the chicken

There's plastic in my chicken tenders and no one will answer the phone at the store. I had them delivered via Uber Eat. $48.67 Also per the food ticket attached to the bag, the food was made an hour and half before it was even picked up for delivery.

    The 'Big Jake' 3pattie cheeseburger!!

Since I started eating here,I haven't tasted a better BURGER! Hamburgers are my absolute favorite food, and I judge every place by how good their burgers are! I am very picky,it has to be completely 'Well done' and no pink spots. I don't know how Jake's does it,But I always get a perfectly done burger that's still juicy and not dried out! I also love that they have a special burger of the month,so you can get your "usual' or try something new! Jake's also has a special shake of the month. I'm not to big on milk shakes, but theirs is good. I recommend that everyone try their hamburgers once!

Delicious cheeseburger and milkshake. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Milkshake was great and the fries were good, but the burger was just okay. I will stick to Five Guys.

My born-and-raised-in-Philly partner and I spent the weekend in Maryland, helping my parents with some things. On the way home to PA, because it was bonkers hot, we were tired, and neither of us was interested in cooking, I asked, "What do you want for dinner?" "HOAGIES." He didn't even pause. So, hoagies, it was to be. But from where? There's a chain place nearby, but their offerings have, of late, been disappointing. SO: Yelp - Hoagies - Sort By "Rating" - Yohn's Grocery. It was on. When we were about 20 minutes from home, I put in our order. We walked through the door and the driver arrived about five minutes later. Everything we got -- gravy fries, mozzarella sticks, and a turkey club -- was great. But the hoagie? The hoagie was off-the-charts good. Philly Perfect. And it's right in our backyard! How did we not know? This is now our go-to hoagie joint. Hands down, the best.

The night we were there, sweet pea soup, escargot, pierogis, mussels, arugula salad, filet mignon, John Dory, walleye, and a crab/pasta dish were on the menu. * Pricing is actually rather reasonable, between $14-22 for the app courses, and $32-52 for the 4 mains. It's BYOB, so that's a big savings as well. These sort of small scale restaurants that are a labor of love are getting harder and harder to find. The atmosphere is intimate, casual, and personal (fellow diners overheard that we forgot to bring a wine and they gave us an extra bottle they brought with them!). If you find yourself in Pottstown--as we did, make a point of going to Henry's. And ask Frank why he called his restaurant "Henry's"... (hint: it has to do with doors).
