In another venue, the entertainment would have been ok. I ordered the "special" , known as Marry Me Chicken, a popular internet dish, which was pasta with chicken, sun-dried tomato, and Parmesan cheese. I have made this dish myself; MINE was delicious. Their's was nothing special, and I would never associate this with a marriage proposal. It was more like a statement saying "This is bad! Run for your life!!!" It was bland, oily, and flavorless. There was an enormous amount of pasta, but four small pieces of burnt chicken, not even enough to make one chicken finger. There were three sun-dried tomatoes and a suggestion of flavorless cheese. This was more of an exercise of "can you find the ingredients" and "can it be blander?" than anything else. This was certainly not even close to being worth $20. My friend, who had the same thing, also had to search for the chicken and tomatoes. She also said it was flavorless and mediocre. My other friend ordered the burger, which was fine, not amazing. There was no bread on the table and a credit card fee. We paid in cash. I don't care if this standard or not, it's annoying and rude. Service was fine, but I don't go out of my way to eat overpriced, mediocre, flavorless food. Neither should you.

We ended up going to Veekoo last minute with a fairly large party that they were able to accommodate. They were very welcoming and patient with our group size, and the times between ordering and receiving our food were considerably quick. The menu's design, cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant were also great. The food was good, but I thought a bit lackluster for the price tag. We collectively got the sushi Love Boat, specialty sushi rolls, dumplings, soups and ramen. The best was probably the sushi, with the Yellow Dragon being the highlight. The other rolls ranged between good and alright. The soups and dumplings were a bit bland, but also still good. Ultimately I would come back, but it seems like one of those places where it helps to know the highlights of the menu based on your preferences.

At least 3 times in the last month we contemplated getting sushi but because of our schedules needed delivery. They had the market cornered because no one else delivers in the area. We are not talking about a $20 order- we spent at least $100 per order. If we have to drive we will drive to Kumo in Collegeville

I have tried a different plate with each visit and have never been disappointed. The deserts do leave something to be desired. There are 2, carrot cake parfait & dark chocolate bread pudding. Neither one is to my taste but they have been on the menu for quite some time so they most appeal to someone. Like the plates, I haven't had the same wait staff but each one that served our table has been very nice and prompt without being in your face'. As a nice touch the owner stopped by the table for a short chat to make sure our dining experience was up to par. Well done Craft Ale House

Serving staff were friendly and very helpful when I was making my food selections. It was a hot day. I wanted food but didn't want anything very heavy. I decided to order two starters. The salmon bites were my first choice. They were delish! Salmon was grilled perfectly with a nice seasoning. It paired really well with the serving sauce. My other selection was from the special menu. It was a crab salad tower served with tortilla chips. This dish was perfect for the hot day. The components of the tower worked so well together. It was light, filling and refreshing. I have to say I was disappointed with the cinnamon arancini dessert. The arancini were okay but I did not like the sauce served with it. It added nothing to the dish. Oh well, two out of three isn't bad :) I enjoyed my visit and will not hesitate to visit again.

Rock Shrimp- pretty basic tempura fried popcorn shrimp in a creamy gochujang (flavor profile similar to the wings). Not a seeker of super spicy, but growing tired of Asian dishes being constantly muted or made Korean-cloyingly sweet. The spice balanced & enhanced the Thai flavors of lemongrass & lime w/ mussels & rings of calamari floating in the broth. My Pad See Ew had that silky, savory, sauce- the depth of which sets it apart from other noodle dishes & is made more savory by adding Wagyu. Tried the Lamb Special- flavors were amazing! From the truffled mashed to the whole roasted onion. Portion could've been larger- they butterflied what looked to be a single, maybe double, lollipop, but presentation was great & flavors on point. Nice desert options- save room! Close seating, which we capitalized on! Made new friends AND tried their dishes- what all diners should do in this situation! Wouldn't say every dish is 10 out of 10; I'd say the food, service, & atmosphere in combination makes for a near 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend as a nice evening out. Make reservations early, weekend tables are hard to get.
