This review is intended to be updated multiple times throughout this process. My original contact with Duke was on July, 9th 2020. They were able to setup an appointment and came out to do their estimate on Saturday, July 11th, 2020.
Both Duke and his foreman Dillon arrived to the appointment on time and both were sporting the usual COVID-19 protective face masks.
I remember telling my wife after they left that I hoped their pricing was competitive because I wanted to utilize them for the installation of my new roof and solar.
I received their estimate on Monday, July 13th, to which I thoroughly reviewed and marked up with questions / comments / and concerns.
Both Duke and Dillon were on the call that day to discuss, and they both took great notes, reiterating everything we talked about at the end of the call.
One of my main concerns is that there are no reviews for the company on Yelp, hence this being their first. But decided after my dealings with them I would give them a chance.
On July 15th after a few other discussions my wife and I signed their contract.
Each dealing I have had with Duke and Dillon thus far have been pleasant and have exceeded my expectations. Work has not begun but should in the next week or so. As it does I will provide updates to this review to help others as needed.
July 20th plans were submitted to the city for permitting.
August 7th plans were permitted and I was informed by Duke that within 24 hours he would reach out to me for scheduling.
Less then 24 hours late Duke reached out to schedule the work for the following week, Tuesday tear off, Wednesday new roof, Thursday solar, and Friday final inspection were the project time lines.
Tuesday August 11th the crew showed up on time and began work. They worked all day and were able to get the roof torn off and a majority of the wood replaced, when work was completed for the day they cleaned the exterior of my property and went on their way.
By that Friday August 14th the roof and solar installation were completed and final inspection was passed with final colors.
I would definitely use Green Improvement Group again if I ever need anything else as far as roofing or solar goes.
Now obviously I cannot speak to the longevity of the installation but will update this review in the future if needed.
Thank you Duke, Dillon, and the Green Improvements Team. The only thing left is waiting on SCE to green light the solar and get that turned on. read more
