Children's bathroom Shower

Amos and Amir at Energy builders group exceeded my expectations for my recent bathroom remodels. Initially was o my going to remodel my one guest bathroom, but we were able to get it done under budget and ahead of schedule and decided to do my other bathroom as well. The team was professional , communicated well throughout the process, and delivered expedito al craftsmanship in time and under budget. The project manager Amir ensured a smooth experience, and the final results was exactly what I envisioned. I HIGHLY recommend energy builders group for a hassle free and top quality remodeling job. Will be using them in the near future for my kitchen remodel and will update this post when we get the job done.

What was most impressive about him is that he helped us understand why some of the other projects we had in the pipeline really needed to happen first before we did solar. It was comprehensive and thorough, so when the time is right for doing solar, we're excited to work with them. I've already recommended them to a few friends.

I really appreciate the direct accountability and quick resolution. I'm leaving my original review below for transparency, but their prompt response today restored my confidence in their management. I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Buyer beware: the installation team does good work, but do not trust a word management says about referral incentives or post-sale promises. Still waiting for my $500.

However,…read moreit's still about 4.8% below the minimum guaranteed production (accounting 0.25% maximum annual panel degradation). It's 4 year in a row now the system failed to produce the minimum guaranteed production. AWS Solar chose to compensate for the shortfall again; we'll see what the 5th year production looks like. I suggested replacing some of the panels with the higher power ones to solve the issue, but I guess they want to see more data.

However, upon completeing the job, the project manager Tim Broughton called me, helped me log on to the Enphase app so that I could monitor the panels. After I confirmed that I was logged in, I was told that I was up and running And they were done. I was happy thinking I was now running on the sun. Wrong. So very wrong. I received my electric bill and astonished to see the electric portion was over $800.00. I called the power company and was told that the $130.00 application fee had not been paid. I notified Mr. Broughton and he immediatley saw that the bill for the application fee was paid and apologized for the error. Now the fun begins. I called the power company and asked when they would be out to install the proper meter for solar panels. I was informed that no application for a meter to be installed was on file and that I had to submit an application for interconnection. Hmm? No one mentioned anything to me about completing and application or that I had to contact the power company. I completed the PTO (Permission to Operate) form and based on the questions being asked and the information I needed to provide leads me to believe the Solar company was responsible for completing this form and sending the required fee. Ok. Lets not look to for someone to blame, lets just get the proper meter installed. I completed the PTO and submitted it. The power company came out a couple of weeks later and installed the a new meter. Onlyit was not a meter for solar panels. They installed the same new meter but it was the same meter as the meter I already had. I asked them why they didn't put on a solar meter and I was told that I needed to submit a PTO for a SOLAR METER, which is different. And by the way, they have a special person that installs solar meters and a special person to install regular meters. This seemed rather stupid to me. I ask the power comapany rep for the contact info for the solar department and he told he didn't know. I won't name the power company. LADwp. The one good thing the DWP rep did upon arriving to his office was to send an email to contact the proper department at the power company. I assumed he would have just gone about his business and let me flounder. I started on the second application which asked for job site photos. This was to me another indication that the solar installer was suppose to complete this form because Joe Citizen would not know what photos they were required. I did observe that periodically, the workers would take photos, but none were ever sent to me. Now I'm in the middle of August 2026 with fingers, legs, arms, eyes and anything else, maybe the dogs and cats, crossed hoping that this time I will get a meter. The bottom line is I would still recommend AWS SOLAR to anyone, but I'd have to caution them to make sure they get you connected and ALL fees are paid. Because I was dealing with the City of LA and being constantly sent to voice mail and waiting for call backs, this experience was horrendous.

I had decided to use them after my contractor had a good experience with them at another home. Reviews seemed great, and the first person I spoke to when I called was very knowledgeable. He connected me to the salesperson who handled the other project, and he also was knowledgeable, which made me feel very positive. The salesperson contacted me quickly, and I sent him all my information so he could analyze and give a quote for our job. A week later I hadn't heard back, and I followed up. He didn't seem to know who I was when I gave my information, or have recollection of my project. That was concerning, but I figured most solar companies are busy right now given the extraordinary number of houses lost in the LA fires. He said he'd get back to me in a couple days, and I never received a response or follow-up. That put me back to the beginning of having to research. The degree of work after losing your house is staggering, as are the number of decisions involved in building a house. I had gotten one other quote early this year at a reputable place that is extremely busy. PIIS is a bigger operation without being corporate, which was a better fit for us. My policy with Yelp is to take the time to write positive reviews because people tend to complain more than offer praise. But every once in awhile I think an unfortunate experience needs to be documented. This wasted my time at a point where I really don't have time to waste. It was disappointing to the degree I'm taking time to write this review. Off to call companies recommended by friends...

Avoid LA Solar Group. Their own emails contradict each other…read more We bought our home in 2023 with a Barnes Solar system already installed. In 2022, before we owned the home, LA Solar opened a SolarEdge case under its own account and had a second replacement inverter shipped to the address. That unit was never returned. SolarEdge now says our inverter has no active warranty, and its escalations manager wrote that the unit "should have been returned." When our inverter failed this year, LA Solar's story changed at every step, in writing: - They said the case "predates LA Solar Group's involvement." Then they sent a screenshot showing it was opened under their own account. - They said a follow-up case was opened "for reasons that remain unclear." Then they told SolarEdge they opened it themselves. - They said they swapped our inverter on 9/2/2022. Later they told SolarEdge it was September 22, 2022. - They told SolarEdge it "had not approved" a second inverter. SolarEdge's records include an approval email sent to LA Solar's own address on 8/29/2022, and no request to cancel the shipment. - Their final position was that they "cannot accept responsibility" and blamed the previous owner. Replies came only once every day or two, and after more than five weeks of emails nothing has been fixed, while our system sat dead. They have not replied to our final email, sent four days ago. The only help they offered was a $1,200 service visit, the price listed on their website. A record created under their own account cost us our warranty, and they have refused to take responsibility for it. We are documenting everything and will be seeking the cost of the replacement and our lost production from LA Solar Group. We will update this review as it plays out.

**Outstanding Experience with Solar Optimum -- Highly Recommended!**…read more I first connected with Solar Optimum at their booth at the EV show in San Pedro, and from the very beginning, their salesmanship and customer service were excellent. They followed up promptly, walked me through the available options, and designed a solar system specifically tailored to my needs. As a four-time EV owner and an engineer, I had very specific requirements, and I can say that Solar Optimum was exceptionally accommodating and willing to work with me to get the system I wanted. They handled the entire process, including all the permits and scheduling the installation, and they delivered on their commitments. Everything stayed on schedule, and my system was up and running within a matter of months. What really impressed me was that Solar Optimum managed to fit **two more panels on my roof than any of the previous three solar companies I received bids from**--all of which I ultimately rejected in favor of Solar Optimum. To top it all off, their price was also the lowest! They also made financing incredibly easy, which was another big plus. As an unexpected bonus, the financing introduced me to a new credit union that I now belong to. Since joining, I've discovered additional benefits, including high-interest savings accounts and low-interest auto loans. So, thanks to Solar Optimum, I got a better solar system at a lower price, an easy financing experience, and a new credit union membership that has opened the door to other financial benefits! Overall, Solar Optimum delivered on every front: excellent customer service, a customized system that maximized my available roof space, competitive pricing, easy financing, and a smooth installation process. As someone who approaches these decisions analytically and knows exactly what I want, I couldn't be happier with my choice. **I HIGHLY recommend Solar Optimum to anyone considering solar!** A small suggestion: if you're posting this on Google or Yelp, adding the approximate year of installation could make the review even more useful to prospective customers.
