The girls at the front desk were super sweet and gave me the rundown about the spa's layout and etiquette. Check-in was super simple. You walk in, ask for a day pass, make reservations for additional services if you want (I recommend reserving at least a week earlier to get your preferred time), and they give you your wristband and lounge attire/towel. The women's locker rooms and bath area were pretty clean and very spacious. You don't need to bring very many toiletries, as they have large dispensers of lotion in the locker room area and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower area. They have hair dryers for use and lots of outlets in the vanity area in case you want to bring other styling tools of your own. I started off with a 30 min Quick Fix Facial and was serviced by Ellie (10/10 recommend). It was super relaxing and we made small talk about skincare based on my concerns. She was super nice and very professional. After I left my skin was glowing! I then headed to the juice bar and got an iced matcha latte (also super good) and relaxed by the lounge area with my laptop before I had my next service. It wasn't too loud, and there's free wifi, so you can get some work done, watch a show, or read a little. Keep in mind the lounge area is an open space connected with the juice bar and food court, so it's not library quiet. That being said, people aren't yelling, and nobody was playing their online media out loud, so it's easy to tune out all the white noise. I then got a 30 min Swedish Massage by Andy, which was more than satisfactory. I was worried about the massage being too rough, but he did everything just right. Only during a few second-long periods did it feel a bit heavier, but I knew he was working out a knot. Even then, it was not bad, and I was glad to know he was being thorough. For lunch, I got a shrimp tempura roll and miso soup, and both were tasty and fresh. I loved the complimentary yoga class, which happens daily from 2-3 PM. Regarding the bathhouse, it's listed on their website that you have to be nude, and plenty of people have talked about that, so I won't bore you with those details. That being said, the varying temperatures are nice, so you can choose based on your comfort. The showers are in the same bath area and are open, just to note, but nobody is really looking at you. You get comfortable pretty quickly once you realize nobody cares and there's a lot of body positivity. Overall, I had a lovely experience. The staff are friendly and help you feel comfortable, and there are plenty of things to do. Definitely recommend staying the whole day. If you want to enjoy all the amenities but are a little wary about the nudity, I suggest coming early when there's less people, and it feels a little more private. I was slightly hesitant to visit the spa based on the mixed reviews I saw online, but ultimately decided to give it a chance. I had never been to a Korean spa, and I live over an hour away, so I was really hoping for a good experience. That being said, I'm very happy I decided to come and look forward to coming back.

They then assign you a small locker for your shoes and then you go inside to the gender specific locker rooms where you have a larger locker. They issue you a uniform that you need to wear while in the common areas so you need to change into that in the locker room. Since the locker rooms are gender specific, all baths within that area require full nudity (I did not participate in those but I heard they were wonderful). Any service like mud bath and scrubs require full nudity and you can sign up online or right inside the locker room. If nudity isn't your thing, there are still plenty of things to do (just no bath stuff). In the common area, all genders intermingle and there are 5 different saunas will all different temperatures and all different themes. They have a sleeping room (which is also used for a nice yoga class), lounge chairs, a common sitting area, a cafe, and a small eatery. You can rent games at the cafe for free and the cafe has a huge menu of both healthy and indulgent treats. You can sign up for different massages, facial, hair, or foot treatments right in the common area. I do suggest signing up for these services online beforehand because they fill up quickly (all services are an extra charge and automatically add an 18% gratuity). We spent about 7 hours here with a group of 7 people and we wish we had more time. I do wish that they had proper showers inside with curtains and/or a changing area for those of us that are a little shy. Staff was friendly and we'll definitely be back. Afternoon got crowded so I would suggest going earlier in the day if you're going on a weekend.

Pretty sure that he cut off FIVE whole inches. Not only did he cut off 5" but the layers he gave me were very choppy, it looks like he hacked it with a saw. The receptionist came by to sweep up my hair with a dust pan and my eyes were bugging out because I was in shock at how much he cut off. I spend an obscene amount on high quality hair products at home to keep my hair healthy. Now it looks like shhhh. Never in my entire life have I ever gotten such a bad cut. I know it's just hair and it will grow back but I felt I need to write this review to warn others. When layers are trimmed, it should fall softy and naturally. He also thinned out my ends so much that it looks weird. OMG!! I can't!! The strange thing is, all the best stylist at this salon, Allen, Ben, Jackie left. She had said in the past that she's the professional and doesn't want anyone telling her how to do her job. She doesn't take feedback well at all. She had criticisms about the way that I was positioning my chair which was to turn it sideways each time She was doing one of my hands so that I could sit in a position that didn't hurt my back- not a big deal In my opinion. I wasn't switching back-and-forth between each nail. I was positioning myself when she was doing the beginning of the manicure, which was the cleaning and filing of each hand. When it got time to do the designs, I asked her if she can do the black design the way that it was in the photo which is to say the black French tips- some of them are curved, and some of them were pointed, and she did all of them pointed and very thin. This was after sitting in the chair for over two hours- she went to wipe all of the design off and I asked her not to do that. She said she didn't have time to do my designs and that I would have to leave with my nails plain. I told her that my time is valuable as well, and I had already sat there for two hours while she worked on a design that she obviously did not know how to do and from the looks of it did not make a very valiant effort. She said she can't copy the design 100%. I said I'm not asking for 100%. I'm just asking for the black French part to be a larger part of the nail as it is in the picture. I had to literally stop her from wiping everything off, and then she redid the tips which looked better than they did originally but still awful. The end of the manicure was tense. I did not appreciate that she did not respect my time and had me sitting there for over two hours and her resolution to it was to send me off with something that I did not ask for which was a plain manicure. I cut my losses and let her finish. She charged me $85 for this manicure which in my opinion she clearly overcharged. I will absolutely not be going back again. She is stressful to work with has an attitude and talks poorly about other people that have worked there. I don't mind paying extra for quality service, but this, like many nail salons, does not pass the vibe check after the first few appointments. If a person cannot do a design, then they should just say so not be annoyed with the customer because they have to do extra work. Charge me extra money if it's extra work, but I think it's reasonable to get what you're asking for when you go to get your nails done which is essentially a luxury service. The manicures I request are very intricate and I understand that but as a nail technician that is literally your job. If you can't do it, just say that you can't do it, but don't have someone sitting in your chair for over two hours only to attempt to send them home. I don't appreciate attitude and I don't appreciate my time being wasted. I also don't appreciate subpar results. I will continue looking for a better nail salon, where there is no attitude.
