The owners are clearly scammers and frauds. I had my cash benefits stolen at this location on 09/02/24 and my ebt food benefits stolen 09/06/24. All transactions took place between 1:30am-3:30am. Can't believe these multiple reports came up on yelp after I tried googling this address, as: Also based in CA, my food fund benefits were stolen in late August and early September 2024, these past few weeks. This store in Brooklyn was listed as the site and address of transaction despite never stepping foot in this store and still being across the country. I had $1432.80 of EBT food benefits stolen from me on 9/06/24 and this is the location they were used. I live in California and have NEVER been to Brooklyn. Who makes 17 transactions in a row at 1:30am? This leads me to believe that it's either someone who owns or runs this place is participating in fraud. My card had been reported stolen and an affidavit has been filed. I have also contacted NY authorities to report that this business is participating in fraudulent activities. This store is allowing ppl to use stolen food stamp cards and numbers. People in NJ are reporting this store for this it happened today april 5th. Its happening in the middle of the night over $300 was stolen off a family members ebt card. It was a hacking situation so bad that the county office stayed open late to help people.How are you allowing this Green Farm you are going to be held responsible for this. I don't like the fact that they allow people to enter a credit card number instead of swiping the original card..my card was stolen and it gave this location where the card was used..I know it isn't the owners fault but having the actual card instead if customers entering numbers would definitely help prevent theft of credit cards and being able to use them..I'm devastated this happened..it was all the funds I had to my name read more

I live in the neighborhood and really wanted to like this place but, unfortunately, upon my first visit I encountered the cashier cutting his nails at the register. That's just extremely unhygienic at a place that sells food, especially prepared foods and fresh produce (located right opposite the cash register too). For that reason, I don't think I'm ever going back. I did also notice that the fresh produce looked to have been sitting there for some time. They did a good job of making sure the produce is kept in water but, nonetheless, upon closer inspection you could see that much of the green produce was yellowing. read more

Here's to the newest bodega in Bed-Stuy! Ok maybe bodega isn't the right term; when I think "bodega" images of stale chips, over priced macaroni and cheese, and a guy serving up sandwiches with meat of questionable origins spring to mind. Green Farm is none of those things (nor is it on Greene street.....or a farm). what this place actually is, is a local spot to get high quality fresh food and fresh produce (not that produce isn't food....you know what I meant). What a novel idea, fresh food from a corner store that isn't loaded with salt and preservatives! They guys who run the place are super nice, they welcomed us in for the grand opening but the place was by no means totally done yet. the veggies looked fresh, the fridges were lined with organic drinks and hand made ice cream. Yes this place is on the pricey side, but that is to be expected as they serve up, you know REAL food. The bodega(s) down the street better hope Green Farm doesn't start making kale infused vegan wraps, as this place will become quite popular with the foodies in the neighborhood. RIP cheese infused psudomeat sandwiches, my heart and cholesterol level are breathing a collective sigh of relief thanks to you Green Farm. read more

So glad to be close to this awesome corner store while on vacation from SF. Awesome juices and smoothies, very friendly cashiers, and a good selection of produce, as well as natural and organic products. Watching the person who is juicing your beverage come around the counter and grab some celery from their produce was a testament to the freshness and quality! Definitely recommend for anyone who's feeling a little off and could use something to settle their stomach/soul. read more

I just moved to the neighborhood and thought I'd check this place out as it mostly has good reviews. It's a lovely little fancy grocery store but the cashier had had mask down under is chin when we walked it. We literally just walked to the back of the store and then left because absolutely not. Covid particles can stay in the air indoors for several hours. I do not feel comfortable shopping for food in a place where the employees don't respect health and safety measures. read more

I love Green Farm! It's just a block from my apartment and I'm so glad to have option for groceries in the neighborhood. We all know that Compare Foods sucks and Metropolitan is SO expensive and crowded all of the time. Green Farm is never crowded and they have a bunch of items. They don't have meat and certain vegetables or obviously as much as a normal sized store, but they have lots of great produce and other shelf/freezer items. I can pretty much find anything I need here if I'm just picking up a few items. They have tons of "behind the counter" items as well. They also make orange juice and smoothies and such. They have baguettes! The prices here are great, especially on the produce. The produce here is so much cheaper than anywhere else, and always in good condition. They also sell flowers! read more

I went to this establishment 5/27/18 at approximately 1:41PM to order they're freshly squeezed orange juice that I always love to buy whenever I go into Brooklyn. This particular day the orange juice machine was broken so the person serving me (a hispanic male about 5'8", mid 40's), was going to put the oranges in the juicer. He took a pitcher of hot water, poured it into the machine to clean it after he just served a customer a beverage containing red beets. The machine was still dripping red from the previous drink, so I asked him to rinse the machine again but he continued to cut up the oranges & told me that beets are good for me. I chuckled, but then I told him that I don't want beets in my orange juice, I just want orange juice. He started juicing the oranges, which had a tint of red in the juice, & I then told him again, that's not what I wanted, I want just orange juice. He then told me "EITHER YOU ARE GOING TO DRINK IT, OR I'M GOING TO DRINK IT". I told him "I guess this isn't my day to have good customer service!", & I left the store without anything. I haven't been to this store in 2 months & this was my first encounter with this particular person. He had poor customer service. I hope he isn't the new owner. If he is, I won't be going back there. My go-to grocery in Bed Stuy that completely matches what a bodega SHOULD be. Not only are they open 24hrs, but their selection of produce, groceries and general household cleaners are what you would get at any high-end grocer but for a fifth of the cost. They may not appear to have a lot, but once you start sifting through the aisles you'll see they've got an amazing healthy selection of snacks and goodies all over the place. They have an in-store ATM but they also take card. Very friendly staff and always a go-to for anything I need. read more

This place is clutch. I've been lamenting the lack of a well stocked bougie bodega in the neighborhood for a while, but Green Farm fits the bill. They have all the nice snack food, good produce, fresh juice, etc, and they're located halfway between the main thoroughfares, Fulton and Myrtle, so they fill a little niche in the middle of the Stuy. Open 24 hrs which is key, and they have most of your bodega food categories covered (Need pasta to eat until payday? Covered. Wanna splurge on a tropical ass fruit you've never heard of?
