Aldi is a great addition to the area. They have a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. This is a very busy location and can be overwhelming. There is no way to do a quick in and out unless you go right when they open or right before they close. It's located at Triangle Junction - an equally busy mini mall with the biggest Target in Brooklyn. There's a parking ramp, but no easy access to Flatbush Ave. One thing I learned is to park in the ramp near the alley and bring your own hand cart or wagon. I was so excited when I found out there was an ALDI somewhat close by in Brooklyn, easily accessible via subway (2, 5 to Bk College). When I arrived I was disappointed. Messy/Unorganized (for an ALDI), most of the sale items sold out, not well stocked generally, long long lines and rampant shoplifting by the community. Prices are good esp for the organic items but not worth the effort. Hard pass. read more

Aldi can be a hit or miss at times, but coming in anytime after 5pm is a miss. It was packed!! The shelves were almost bare, and because it was so busy it was a bit frustrating trying to maneuver through the aisles. The lines were long, and there weren't many cashiers. There were no carts available either. So it was a bit of a pain shopping here after a certain time. I normally go during my lunch break at 1pm. It's a bit less crazy, the pickings aren't the worst, and you might actually find something good. One thing i can say is that the workers are almost always doing their best to replenish the floor with everyone grabbing things. It's still a pretty good place for groceries with prices beating the nearby target by a good margin. The store isn't as big as others, but it's a nice size and has some good products. I give it a 3/5. read more

ALDI is um, well, unique. Imagine if a grocery store and Costco had a baby ... and the baby was a bit minimalist yet chaotic and more often than not lacking variety. That's ALDI. I think it comes down to timing in terms of product availability. Some customers really do treat it like Costco and purchase things in bulk. With that being said, you're left with 1 or 2 of the items left if that. ALDI is the definition of no thrills. I mean, it's a grocery store and there's stuff on the shelf but the branding may not be familiar to you. The spartan nature of the store is not for everyone and it's certainly not my top choice for where to do my grocery shopping. read more

I don't understand why Aldis in New York City are so poorly managed. I've shopped this chain in other cities and had great experiences. But the one in Harlem and Brooklyn are always dirty and disorganized. I went here on a Sunday morning, not too many people there, and still chaotic, empty shelves, and dirty floors. The two security guards were watching videos on their cell phones and only ONE employee was restocking shelves. Disaster. read more

They have a really nice selection of regular and organic produce/non perishables. Staff are friendly and helpful, no bathroom for customers. I had been meaning to for a while and finally did. Unfortunately this Aldi store did not match my expectations. While prices were overall very good, and I did find good buys on some peanut butter (meh taste) and jams (delicous strawberry preserves), overall in spite of the modern layout, I had the feeling I was in an upscale 99cent store filled with no name brands of inferior quality to those sold for only a few cents more at Trader Joe's. The people working in the store were friendly but only two cashier stations were open creating a rather long wait to pay. I did not buy produce but another customer warned me that their produce has a short shelf life. I would shop here again but would not go out of my way to do so. read more

I am so disappointed in todays shopping trip. There were ppl stealing from the meat section. And walking right out. The lines were extremely long and going to the back of the store. You couldn't even enjoy walking up the isles bc ppl were going in different directions while in the isles. There was no self check at this location. Idk what happened to this location, but I won't come back until changes are made. read more

It's a small Aldi. Went on a weekend and half of their shelves were empty but then again it was a weekend. A lot of people come to this location. Prices are very reasonable for groceries. There is an option between self check out and checkout with a cashier that I thought it was interesting that they have. read more

Oh wow, I'm here first. Cool. Probably the BEST location I've been to. It's definitely much bigger than its brothers and sisters. Incredibly well stocked and of course, eye popping low prices. Listen, if you're in your 20's like me, this place is absolutely necessary! Me and my husband love this place and our one year old as well. I cook a lot and feed us for the low. Mind you, they are big eaters. If you eat moderately like me, your grocery bill is about to be your lowest bill if it's not already. Also, there is no "shame" in it, as very well off people shop here as well! We do okay but love to save where we can as a young family and we do! Thanks to Aldi. Definitely one of NYC's best kept financial secrets. Overall, they get a major stamp of approval. This might be my fave location yet. I HIGHLY recommend. read more

I'm happy there's one closer to me. Before I would go to the one in ,Canarsie. And wish that there is one closer by me. And boom, a few months later this one at, Flatbush. Cool... Now I would have give it five stars. However I do have one problem with this location. Not enough lights, on. Not inside but outside. When walking toward , ALDI at night. It feel kind of creepy or not safe to walk there at night. Like someone can get hurt or Rob. B'cuz it so dark when walking their at night. Beside that, I'm happy that there's one near me. This is the 4th Aldi I've been to in the NYC area. No question that this is by far the largest of them all, however, I was not at all impress with the store layout or product selections. The shelves and meat/poultry section were pretty sparse. There was more space than food. The time of day I went explains the devoid of customers. Wasn't crowded at all. Inflation has also made prices increased but a lot of items were still the same price point as years past. The area is sort of sketchy with many vagrants moving about. Probably won't be coming back to this Aldi unless I'm in the area. read more
