Of course, I would never sign up on spot; I asked for just written quotes and the system information. Online reviews showed how many people have been deceived and disappointed by promises from these companies. Online search also showed a few other companies that seemed more promising. I called those other companies in to provide quotes. Solar Ray was more expensive than most others, but then their panels and equipment were also better than others. Their price breakdown was also provided in detail, with spec sheets included. Plus, their warranty, 25 years parts and labors, was not offered by any other company I contacted. So, I decided to go With Solar Ray. They maintained communication throughout the whole process. The installation was professional and efficient. The panels looked great. The instruction provided for me to work with my utility company to get the system up and running was easy to follow. 5 months since my system was installed, and it has been working flawlessly everyday. Their monitoring system shows in real time how much energy is produced, how much is used, and how much is sent back for credit. So far, I have saved roughly $120/month after the loan payment. It will summer soon, and I am excited to see what it will look like. Thank yourself for spending time to read all these reviews and doing some research. You are potentially saving yourself from a lot of problems.

What a huge mistake... everything was great throughout the selling and installation process, but my nightmare started last December when one on my inverters failed and stop working, tried to contact them, leaving voicemails for days and nobody got back to me. Finally, after a month of chasing them down in January they decided to stop by the house and check my inverter, came in, saw the inverter and both Mike and Alex agreed that the inverter failed and under warranty had to be replaced, charged me with a service call of $300.00 and left. After 3 or 4 months! of me following up, trying to find out when my inverter was going to be delivered, chasing them down, for them I was no longer a customer, I was just a problem they did not want to deal with. After 4 months of waiting, Solar Ray said to me, you know what, your inverter is NOT coming, actually your damage was caused by a lightning and is not covered by the warranty and gave me 2 options, one of $3,000.00 and the other for $4,000.00 if I wanted to get my inverted fixed... I called another local solar company, they came in, evaluated my situation, looks like it was an installation problem that caused water to get into the inverter and damaging the unit. They did all the work and "all in" for the repair cost me under $1,000.00. I will never call Solar Ray ever again.

Evergreen's customer service team was incredible, and they made the process was easy despite my lack of knowledge. They walked my coworkers and me through the entire process, from pricing to installation to rebates and everything in between. Lindy Holsten was a particularly great contact - she was quick to reply to my emails and provided thorough answers each time. Unfortunately, a thief stole one of the charging cables to sell the copper. Lindy and the other team members helped me through this process, recommending a protective cover and even offering to pay for one of the covers! This was a great help to offset some costs and really helped my company. I truly recommend using Evergreen Charging Solutions if you are interested in EV chargers! The main reason I chose Wayfare was technical engineer was head and shoulders sharper than any other company rep I spoke with and that they ADVISED 2 things, reduce consumption and generate solar power. All the other companys I spoke with only wanted to sell me a solar system. They didn't take into account reducing usage. We purchased a 10Kw system 38 panels, Solaredge inverted; heat pump style hot water heater, variable speed pool pump. We have been using it for 19 months and have generated over 26MWh, well over what we would use for a year (home is 3881 sq ft). From about October to May our power bill with Duke power is the minimum connection charge of $10.31. In the summer months it can be $100 or so. With a 2.99% loan on the equipment we're saving a bit each month. Once the loan is paid off we will save a lot. And when Duke power raises rates, we are not as effected. I highly recommend the team at Wayfare Energy and SolarEdge inverters. They installed new pipes and clamps on my roof for my pool solar panels after my roof was replaced…read morein January of 2019. 5 months later the clamps on the pipes were leaking. I called Wayfare and they told me they gave their repairs to another company...fun in the sun. SO when I called fun in the sun I was told that I would have to pay $95. to have them come out and look at it. Wayfare would not return my calls to ask them why it is not under warranty. Ashley at fun in the sun said Wayfare told her it was "billable"?! I thought Fla law said 1 year warranty on all parts and labor? I would not trust either of these two companies. I ended up paying the $95 but will never call either company again!

Cayden was our point person, from the second he knocked on our door and told us about the business he was nothing but kind, professional, real and awesome to work with. He's hardworking, knows exactly what he's talking about, and you can see that he really studied the solar installation process from start to finish. He was patient, answered every question and even came out a 2nd day to answer some extra questions we had about the process. If he said he would have something to you by the end of the day, we'd get it within hours. There hasn't been one time that I called him and he didn't answer the phone. We spoke to 5 different solar companies around the Orlando area, and none of them impressed me as much as Cayden and Wattsun did. Plus we were more than surprised that our of all of those companies they were able to offer a great price for what they were providing, plus were willing to match anyone that came provided a lower quote with using the same quality material. After we signed the contract and started the project, one thing that we really loved was that Wattsun does not subcontract, so everyone that's had a hand in the project was in house. This ensured that the process was smooth and speedy. The team that came out to install was amazing! David, Chris, Chris, Chase, and Dennis all were kind, professional, & overall down to earth, cool guys. The entire project took 3 days to complete which was perfect & they were able to work on our time schedule. We have a tile roof in which we were told solar is harder to complete on, but they still made it happen and the tiles came out looking great. They even came back and spent an entire day fixing broken tiles! The owner of the company came out for a final walkthrough of the project, he introduced himself to me and walked me through all the little ins and outs of any concerns that we had about the project. Lastly, it looks great. We've seen a few other solar panels projects where the wiring was showing, and other aspects of the project looked thrown together. But for our house it looks great! Sleek and honestly made the roof of the house look nicer. They've truly set the gold standard for any company we work with in the future on home improvement projects. We had concerns about mounting the pool heating system on our brand new roof but David assured us that everything would be fine. Nearly a year later we could not be happier. We have had no issues with roof leaks or anything as far as the system or workmanship goes. Today, Sep 24, 2022 would normally be a day when our pool is just a little bit chilly for swimming as we have a screened in pool area and our pool doesn't stay as warm as we would prefer but today, with a temperature of 89 on our shaded lanai area the pool is 87.6 degrees and super cozy!!! After I reminded them they installed them at the price they installed them for they came down to $2500 which is still high. The tech turned my yandy valve in the wrong direction starving my new (3 month old) Hayward pump causing damage to my pump then denied doing it. He blames the roofers, the roofers blame the solar guy and I get stuck trying to figure out how to get this warranted without getting screwed. If you hire these guys, put a camara on the crew at all times and set up camp to observe everything they do. The design is good. The people , not so much. I'm sure they are not all bad but I got the bad one. In todays world with people in the working field who don't give a crap if they do a good job or not, be careful who you hire. So here is a sample of their crappy lazy work. Could have used extra pipe and bypassed the outlet but....NOPE....forced the lines around it. I told the tech that those lines will fail. This created avoidable anxiety and stress. For a project of this size and cost, customers should be able to rely on clear contracts and straightforward timely communication. Thankfully, now we can communicate with team members outside of sales. In the end, we are happy with how everything looks.
