Brad told me that when we decided on the roof, the company would come out and take down the solar panels and then replace them once the roof was completed and it would be free of charge. He said they do that as a one time courtesy and that any subsequent roofs we would have to pay. I remember chuckling at that because who replaces their roof every few years? We signed the contract and had the solar panels installed with Everything Solar. The solar panels did not pass inspection by the city and Everything Solar had to come out and put more screws down to secure everything and on the second inspection, it passed. The solar panels worked as expected for the past 9 years. Several months ago, we noticed some water damage on the ceiling of our upstairs bedrooms. We got several roofing companies to come out and assess the problem. The consensus was that it was finally time to replace our 17 year old roof. It lasted longer than I projected back in 2013 so I'm not upset about that. What I am upset about is that the water damage on our ceiling, the roofers and our insurance company concluded was caused by the solar panels coming loose and water getting in through the holes that no longer had screws securing them. The solar panels were not all secured to the trusses as they should have been in the first place. Today we called Everything Solar to talk to them about the one time courtesy removal that Brad promised (apparently just to make the sale) back in 2013. We were fortunate enough to actually get Brad himself on the phone. He claimed that they offer no such thing and he had no idea who would have promised that to us originally. It was you, Brad. You promised that and it was the reason we decided to sign with your company instead of one of the others we received estimates from. We weren't even complaining about the holes in our roof from improper installation, we were only asking for the removal and reinstallation before and after the roof replacement. The way a company treats it's customers after the sale is far more important than the pie-in-the-sky promises they make before the sale. I'm sorry I gave them my business and now that we are looking for additional solar panels once our roof is completed, Everything Solar will not be a consideration. Buyers beware.

Today, Sep 24, 2022 would normally be a day when our pool is just a little bit chilly for swimming as we have a screened in pool area and our pool doesn't stay as warm as we would prefer but today, with a temperature of 89 on our shaded lanai area the pool is 87.6 degrees and super cozy!!! After I reminded them they installed them at the price they installed them for they came down to $2500 which is still high. The tech turned my yandy valve in the wrong direction starving my new (3 month old) Hayward pump causing damage to my pump then denied doing it. He blames the roofers, the roofers blame the solar guy and I get stuck trying to figure out how to get this warranted without getting screwed. If you hire these guys, put a camara on the crew at all times and set up camp to observe everything they do. The design is good. The people , not so much. I'm sure they are not all bad but I got the bad one. In todays world with people in the working field who don't give a crap if they do a good job or not, be careful who you hire. So here is a sample of their crappy lazy work. Could have used extra pipe and bypassed the outlet but....NOPE....forced the lines around it. I told the tech that those lines will fail. Special shout out to Mike and his trainee, Brian, for their exceptional work. I started having problems with my master bedroom closet lights and outlets along one side of the bedroom itself. I was aware I had aluminum wiring as the house is 70 years old. They installed alumiconns in these areas as well as other potential outlets in my home. They found issues with the junction boxes in my garage and the attic, fixed them all and we still had one problem with the outlet not working for the refrigerator. They checked my outside electrical meter and found some frayed wiring inside the meter and recommended I call Duke Energy to see if the issue was in the "can" as they called it. Duke technicians came out and found that the meter had a faulty lug that was impacting almost one half of my house. It had expanded open. Given the meter was old, if my electricians could not find a replacement for the faulty lug, they would have to come out and replace it with a new computer meter, which would require permitting. This was a Friday and Duke stated they needed to "cap" this lug and I would not be able to use the furnace, A.C, stove or hot water heater. It was going to be the first weekend cold front coming through Orlando. Mike went to three different locations to find a replacement "can". He said he didn't want me going through an entire weekend without hot water or heat. He finally found one, but it was too big to replace my meter. However, Mike decided to lay all the parts on the driveway and found the lug that would match my meter. He replaced it and everything worked perfectly! I commend Mike for his ingenuity and for going above and beyond for the customer. I highly recommend Stanton Electric! Their service charges are very reasonable compared to other electrical companies I have used in the past (and with not great results, I might add). Mike and Brian even found problems with an outlet I had repaired by another local company, and I paid a significant amount more per hour for their shoddy work. Make Stanton Electric your first call if you have electrical issues. You will not be disappointed!

Plus we were more than surprised that our of all of those companies they were able to offer a great price for what they were providing, plus were willing to match anyone that came provided a lower quote with using the same quality material. After we signed the contract and started the project, one thing that we really loved was that Wattsun does not subcontract, so everyone that's had a hand in the project was in house. This ensured that the process was smooth and speedy. The team that came out to install was amazing! David, Chris, Chris, Chase, and Dennis all were kind, professional, & overall down to earth, cool guys. The entire project took 3 days to complete which was perfect & they were able to work on our time schedule. We have a tile roof in which we were told solar is harder to complete on, but they still made it happen and the tiles came out looking great. They even came back and spent an entire day fixing broken tiles! The owner of the company came out for a final walkthrough of the project, he introduced himself to me and walked me through all the little ins and outs of any concerns that we had about the project. Lastly, it looks great. We've seen a few other solar panels projects where the wiring was showing, and other aspects of the project looked thrown together. But for our house it looks great! Sleek and honestly made the roof of the house look nicer. They've truly set the gold standard for any company we work with in the future on home improvement projects.
