Ray and his assistant Kyle arrived ahead of schedule. I received calls from both the office and Ray relating to me that they were on their way and should arrive in 20 minutes. We have recently built a screened in porch on the back of our house and we needed wiring for outlets, a fan and a tv. We also needed spotlights put up on our house. Ray was quick to give us a firm cost on the job that was reasonable given the extensive work that needed to be done. After my acceptance, they quickly got to work. They were fastidious in their work and even threw out the empty tv box and fan box for us. Both Ray and Kyle were concerned that I was happy with the end product. We discussed the positioning of all the outlets and receptacles to make sure that they all were functional for what I needed and what I had envisioned. This necessitated several calls to my girlfriend to confirm what she wanted. Ray was very patient while I made the calls. When they left there was no trace they had been there other than the completed electrical work. They both were professional, efficient and friendly throughout the time they spent at our house. If you have any electrical needs, look no further. I highly recommend Haas and Sons. You won't be disappointed!

This company was a pleasure to deal with from the estimate process through completion of work…read more They were always responsive and provided several estimates with varying requirements without complaint. Their prices were better than competitors. The work started on time and was completed as promised. As the work was completed and other issues were discovered as they often are, they were in constant contact and advising on mitigations that were cost effective. The electricians treated my home as their own cleaning behind themselves and making every effort to minimize wall repairs needed based on work required. I can't say enough about what a positive experience and impression this company provided to and for me.

I rarely write yelp reviews but these guys deserve it…read more With any service company (plumbers, contractors, etc.) you expect to be charged at a high rate, regardless if any work is done during the estimate (because you're paying for their expertise). These guys were not like that. They could've charged an exorbitant service fee for coming to my boyfriends home on a weekend for a partial power outage (within 4 hours of us calling), but when they came and realized it was an issue with the utility company, they didn't charge him anything. The quick turnaround, honesty in their work, and willingness to help others in a pinch really sets them apart. We called nearly 20 electricians that day with most asking for somewhere around $160 for 30 min plus travel time at a minimum or for us asking for an appointment next week. They took our call right away and although they seemed lax on the phone, it's clear they knew what they were doing and understood the issue we were trying to communicate. It's not even my house, but if I need anything I'm calling them first and my boyfriend will do the same. Added bonus: this is a veteran-owned business.

In two words, my executive summary description of Pedrick Electric service is "maximum favorable."…read moreOn a weekend, in the snow, Steve responded promptly and effectively to a serious problem with my home electrical outlet wiring. Half a dozen wall outlets lost power, without tripping a breaker! After frantically going through every breaker in my panel one by one, shutting it off and back on again, with every clock and DVR display in the house going 'blink-blink-blink', I finally realized this was beyond my amateur ability to resolve, and called Steve at Pedrick Electric. He returned my call almost immediately, and was at my door in less than an hour (actually, since he's local to my area, he made it in less than 1/2 half an hour, but unless you live very close to Perry Hall/Kingsville/Glen Arm, you may not get the same super-quick response). Steve asked a few carefully specific questions about the problem, and zoomed in on the source of trouble in no time flat. Problem resolved, and a long-term permanent solution installed and in use in a very short time. The cost was extremely reasonable, and very fair. Steve is an experienced professional, who takes the time and trouble to listen and responds with intelligence, skill, and the sort of calm assurance that is rare nowadays. I recommend Pedrick Electric, and Steve in particular, most highly.
