Bad Monkey came to my home to install a Tesla charger. Not only did they arrive on time they answered all of my questions and were very patient with helping me understand the logistics of my new gadget. They cleaned up everything before they left as well which doesn't happen often when I hire services to perform utility work. Three weeks later I noticed a wire hanging in the area they did the work. We had a power outage in the middle of the night but wasn't an emergency. They came over next day and not only fixed it but discovered several other cheep fixes from previous owners that were extremely dangerous. The insulation around our wires had completely rotted away and some wires were alluminum wrapped in cotton (tech from the 30s). SUPER DANGEROUS! We found out we are living in a fire hazard waiting to happen. Their price seemed fair and when contracting out the drywall repairs they helped negotiate it down. Very grateful. read more

Electricians evaluated my entire house system to see what the problem was with failure of my new appliances. The systems checked out fine, which was a relief, and they agreed that I might benefit from a whole house surge protector. They contacted their boss, who was supposed to get back to me. He said he was checking prices. I still have not heard from him. I will purchase my own surge protector and have another electrician install it. I have amended my first review. Steve was not aware of the urgency of my situation and explained that he had trouble getting quotes from the suppliers. He is personally installing my surge protector next week. Found Bad Monkey Electric from a Google search for Electrician's nearby. Had never heard of them, but had to give them a chance, with a name like that, they have to be good, right? Spoke with Steve in October about a project and he quoted me a rough estimate over the phone. I ended up putting it on the back burner. Fast forward 6 months, I called Steve again and he was responsive to my inquiry, asked some questions, and I decided to move forward.
