I also like that when I speak to Lucas, he ballparks when I need things done in case I want to spread out preventative maintenance. In this area, finding an independent garage that has the knowledge to replace the engine in a Prius is iffy - most won't touch it. I chose Davidsonville Prius because Brian has 17 years specializing in Toyotas and has connections with a dealership. After receiving the car, Brian went over it and contacted me with a list of needed repairs, (note: I knew about them already - there was no upselling). He wanted to know how it was decided that a replacement engine was needed. I told him of the hydrocarbon test on the coolant. While that was a valid test, Brian knew that there was another reason for the hydrocarbons showing up. He found that the problem was the heat exchanger rather than the head gasket and that the heat exchanger was still under warranty! Wow! He had the heat exchanger repaired at the dealership under warranty and handled the other routine repairs in his shop. He saved me thousands of dollars! His knowledge of our Prius and the issues with the various series of them saved the day!! Yeah- lots of exclamation points. Brian deserves them. Impressive!!!

I repeated myself, and that's when he got irritated and said, "What the hell does 'I'm good' mean?" Instead of driving off, he continued talking aggressively and wouldn't move his car as I tried to walk toward the restaurant. I had to go around his vehicle just to get away. The whole experience was hostile, disrespectful, and intimidating. No one should be approached or spoken to that way, especially after clearly saying no. It's completely inappropriate and made me feel unsafe. Avoid this person if you see him around Gunston Plaza. Don't ever intimidate another person -- you came off creepy and like someone who would go to the extreme.

High pressure and fast talk sent the $700 "estimate" up to $1,800.00. The work was sloppy and looks bad/unprofessional. The rear wheel well needed a dent removed. He took it upon himself to "fix" some spots on the rear bumper which now looks like a child was let loose with a can of spray paint (paint and finish does not match). This will be an added cost for us when my husband gets it professionally redone. You can see every place he hammered on the side of the car. Nothing is smooth and the paint does not match. He took advantage of us and manipulated us at every turn. Fisher is a slippery and unscrupulous thief. Do not use his services. Fisher is an out-and-out Scammer.

I called later to speak with the same gentleman to reschedule and mentioned that another location was close to my home and I could go there on my work from home day. He was super patient with me and understanding of my time constraints. He recommended I call the other location and get a 7am appt to get the estimates so I could get it done before work. Anyways, had 2005 TC fail to start out of nowhere. Had to coordinate getting it towed through insurance while also getting a shop to take my car in and repair quick. Had both done. I was able to get my car towed and sent to this shop in a matter of just 2 hours. The representative at the shop understood the issue and I just rolled my car into their parking lot and gave the keys. The next morning, had a new starter, battery, and maintenance check done on entire electrical system for a fair price. What gives this place 5 stars is they installed a green Interstate battery. This battery is legit. From experience elsewhere, they will often dump some cheap no name battery in the car and expect you to drive off oblivious. I'll be coming back here for other car issues!
