Green Bar on Main St in New Paltz, is a minimal smoothie/juice/salad/açaí bowl/salad bar with clean lines and a simple, grey palette, where less froufrou truly is more. Out of everything these folks offer, I decided on a banana+peanut butter+protein powder+ almond milk+etc shake (I know, these folks call it a shake ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). No ice, no fillers, just substance- which you want from a smoothie- I mean shake. The wait is long with only one person tending to salad orders, whipping up smoothies, going back to the kitchen, etc. Whether this is their normal, it's not working. For my one smoothie, I mean- shake, it was a 20 minute wait. Good actually. The gal behind the counter was apologetic- but just call your order ahead to avoid the wait. read more

Great stop for healthy toasts, smoothies, açaí bowls, and milkshakes. It's a lovely space for someone to sit down and work. The staff was very friendly. I ordered a tropical smoothie and my husband ordered a golden milkshake and we both liked it. It is little pricey that's what I felt. read more

One of my favorite spots on Main Street. The açaí bowls are freshly prepared and can be modified to your preferences. The Nutella Açaí and PB Açaí are my absolute favorites. There is a wait after you order, but the presentation is so beautiful and it's definitely worth it for its freshness. They are generous with the toppings and offer high-quality ingredients. My friends and I were on a road trip to upstate NY and stumbled upon this place on Yelp, we wanted something healthy and clean and Green Bar did not disappoint! My friends and I shared the avocado toast, kimchi spice avocado toast, kimchi quinoa bowl and the wild acai smoothie. Everything was delicious!! I never knew kimchi could be so good on an avocado toast, we were all pleasantly surprised :) Ingredients are super fresh and I love that it's organic as well. The decor inside this juice bar is just so cute - I love how clean and green it looks inside. The staff was also extremely friendly. Green Bar used to be so much better. I used to come here all the time when I lived here and the staff was friendly and the portion sizes were good and tasty. The quality seems to have plummeted after new ownership. The açaí is sour and melted even though I picked up after it was made and the portion sizes were so small. For a $15 bowl I would expect more. The bald person at the register was very rude to me when I politely let them know my issues. Probably will never come back again read more

Its sure nice NP got a great juice place. definitely a clean and tidy place with a small seating area, but it feels pretty relaxed there. so, I ordered and smoothie here, i have to say the sign that says it's not fast food and it takes time to make food to quality to which i will say it's worth it. The service here was alright, took my order perfectly and got my drink in no time. The smoothie was pretty refreshing and its great here you can watch as they make it. read more

The quality/taste/freshness of the food saved this review from being less than 4 stars. Salad menu was not up to date with in stock items which makes it difficult to order appropriately. Definitely recommend asking if they have something before ordering as many items were out. Service is slow so de prepared to wait. The location is small but we took our food to go so we didn't mind that there was limited seating. read more

RUDEST people in town! Girl working register gave me an attitude when I paid with cash. Which is ironic because there is a massive jar on the counter labeled TIPS. Or does the tip jar take Apple Pay too?? Girl making my drink also was wearing gloves that she did not remove while it was blending but was using the register and her phone with the gloves then handled my drink. I said thank you when she handed me my drink, she said nothing and then turned her back towards me. Not thinking she heard me I said it again a little louder and she gave me the stank eye.. still not acknowledging the TY! You're paying top dollar for a "SMEDIUM" smoothie, the least you can get is some service with a smile. This is the 3rd time I've gone in there and was treated in this manner. It's like a secret smoothie/açaí club! No thanks, you can keep your granola and berries. read more

The food was delicious we ordered smoothie bowls which is pretty much "açaí bowls" and it was really good I just think it was overpriced paid almost 30 dollars for two people it's a lot. so they should upgrade their portions or charge less. read more

Easily the best juice/smoothies in the area. The interior is beautiful, sunny and clean and the staff are lovely. If you happen to pop in, I highly recommend the Dr. Immunity juice and either the lox toast or the avocado toast. The ingredients are always fresh and they are consistent (something that is difficult to find in this area). Plus, they are very pup friendly which is a huge plus for me. read more
