YOU GUYS DON'T EVEN ANSWER YOUR PHONES. I have been bringing my 2 year old blu for 8 weeks. I decided to board him this weekend. Upon pickup the staff wasn't friendly and never had been at pickup or drop off. I ask several times how things went and typical response is oh you didn't get a call so everything was well. The receptionist are young, inexperienced and typically don't have any answers to questions about your pet. We have never been offered a tour and offered a bath after a weekend. When my boy blu came out today at pickup he was timid, scared, full of dried pee, face down, not excited and depressed. Upon arriving at home he has been acting strangely and not the upbeat dog that we are accustomed too. I honestly believe that your pup sits in a kennel more often then not. I'm more upset because he was covered in dried urine so I assumed he's kennel wasn't cleaned. He looked terrible and don't understand why. As a facility that is ran by vets it sure needs improvement. They have been under construction and the lobby looks cold, dark and quiet. I've asked several times how many dogs are here today and usually about 10. I believe you need to visit them and see what you can improve. You're not giving or being with the pets like they are. I have a feeling they go out for a small period of time and kenneled the rest. I feel like pets are treated not the way they should be. Blu's nose was all red and nails all beat up so that indicates he's in his kennel way too long. Your competitors have warm and friendly almost home rooms to sleep. If you had this your dog wouldn't be covered in dry pee. Couple things to help improve: 1.Act like the front staff knows and cares about your pet 2. Offer a bath after boarding for more then a couple days 3. Offer a tour to new clients especially the first day of drop off. It takes a few minutes 4. Train tour front desk to be friendly because it seems like things are always an inconvenience 5. Visit your local competition. There is a reason why you have such a big place and not many dogs per day 6. Train your staff on upgrades asking for a bath nails etc. 7. Remove asking for a tip on your credit card machine because at this point I don't know why anyone would tip. 8. Introduce a vet to your clients. 9. Spend more time with the pets instead of keeping them in a kennel for most of their time. 10. Make some immediate changes because your business won't survive if this how your business is ran. There is several reviews similar to mine so I can't imagine we aren't all saying the truth. We have 2 more days left to return and would rather forego the money and go elsewhere. I also emailed in to your only email so maybe I'll get a response. I'm so sad for our boy right now. I would highly recommend any new client to pay attention to your pet and consider going elsewhere because there is much better places for the same price. I hope you can use my review to improve. Even though your under construction 2 months in it really turned us off as well. I won't be returning to your facility for anything in the future. I've called over 20 times today on 05/16 and they won't even answer their phone. It's very sad. Update: The manager has called me several days in a row to check in on blu. In the mean time there is one current and former client that have reached out to me. The current client says that their dog pees in the house often and is most likely being in a kennel. The previous client indicates they don't come back because their dog has been traumatized as well. I'm not the only client that has indicated concerns to this daycare. I also contacted the owner of the daycare in PA twice and left messages and email and not one return phone call. The experiences at this dog daycare are traumatizing to pets. Also, the company has the tenacity to call other businesses about my review. This is a low blow to me personally as that is unfair business practices. Look at yourself and see how you can improve your business. All clients go elsewhere. read more

Was very happy with the recent stay our Golden (Autumn) had. She was given a lot of attention and was very happy when we came to pick her up. Staff is very friendly and clearly they enjoy the animals in their care. The only reason I did not give 5 stars? There was no report card given to us on how well Autumn did. Exceptional care and attention is given to my two cats. The staff shows great interest and care for them, and pay great attention to any care instructions I inform them of. Harley, my older cat has a few minor medical issues, and I am not worried about his health at Green Acres. They love Green Acres and the staff. I will definitely bring them back here in the future. Extremely high prices and hidden fees, none of which are communicated on their website or during the booking process. Even after asking the employee who helped me book out stay for a price breakdown i was told they couldnt give me exact numbers and imstead provided a "rough" estimate which ended up being WAY less than what they actually charged me. Our dogs are very social and love their typical boarding location, its like a special treat for them. But they returned from a one nignt stay at green acres stressed out, dirty, and sick. There is a good reason this place always has availability when all of the other locations in our area are full. We will not be returning. read more

We took our Havanese, Katie, in for the day while we did some sightseeing. They were very helpful in getting her processed the day before...paperwork and all that. They also were very tender and loving with her. Price was much cheaper than expected and they adhered to our instructions. read more

Extremely poor communication from the get go with the staff. People at front desk are extremely rude. It was as if they didn't want our business. Will never go back. Their miscommunication lead to our dogs not staying there for their reservation. It turned out okay,, as we went straight to our first choice. After 25 minutes at the front desk dealing with their rudeness, I was leery about leaving them there anyway. read more

This was our first time using Aunt B's and we loved it! We are vacationing in the area and they made it very easy for us to drop our 2 dogs off for the day. We are overly picky about our dogs care and they didn't have an issue following through with our requests. Our babies came home happy and pooped! The only place I have boarded my dog was at a lady who operates from her home. She has no A/C and has a rambunctious puppy that likes to jump all over my dog, so he was pretty disinterested in returning. I had a seminar in Deforest and took the opportunity to give Aunt B's a try. Friends have told me that their dogs sleep for days after returning from a stay. It is a pretty impressive place and they have countless activities off of the extras menu to satisfy any dogs interests. I opted for the sniffing woods and swim time. My yellow lab is a huge baby and I was concerned that he wouldn't participate. That wound up being true for the pool (I wasn't charged) but he really took to the off-leash romp around the five acre wooded area. This is a treat that he seldom gets. After picking him up from his overnight stay, he promptly want to sleep in the car and slept pretty much all day an night from the many activities and play time. They are located over an hour away from me, but I am very likely going to make the future effort to board him there, particularity on longer trips. The going rate is around $35 a day, which is right and the extras are not too much more. They only take cash or checks, so remember that when picking up. read more

Our dog Birdie loved her weekend stay here. She came back sleepy which let's me believe she played all day. I love how they give you a complimentry massage and play time for the dogs and they take the dogs out every hour. When we got there they knew who Birdie was! How did they know that? It was our first time, we hadn't given them our names yet and there were atleast four other people coming in to pick up or drop off. We use to like this facility very much. The staff is very pleasant but eventually our dog would come home from daycare or boarding stressed and anxious. Like he wasn't getting all the attention or play he needed. It is not an "open room" daycare facility the dogs are kept in their kennels and let out for their play sessions. However the facility has also been very accommodating when we needed. Allowing us to drop our boy off early. Also when he had an accident and needed close medical attention he was able to hang out at the front desk with the staff. The building could use some fixing up/ cleaning, otherwise charming decor. Overall if you have a lower activity dog I think this would be the right place for you. read more

Fabulous place to board your beloved pets. Our goldendoodle had to board over Christmas as we were going to be out of town. Aunt B's did a great job making sure he was comfortable while also ensuring he got to celebrate the holidays. We got to bring a wrapped present for him to unwrap on Christmas. They let the dogs out like 8 times per day and also offer some great extra amenities such as swimming time or lessons, outside play time in their large fenced in area, and one-on-one play time. Really friendly service and helpful staff. Great facility with well-designed dog cottages to help dogs avoid the stress that can happen in the overcrowded kennels. Wonderful place! Loved the little added touch of a personalized note from each caretaker on what our doodle did during his stay. Five resounding stars for Aunt B's. read more

Not at all what Aunt B's was. Went on a 9-day vacation and came back to our dog being extremely timid and scared of loud noises. He is 5 years old and has never expressed this type of behavior. He was in a depressed state for about 5 days post pickup. Their front desk employee was extremely condescending and rude. She acted as if she was doing us a favor when we picked him up. We had sent along a blanket for him which was assured to us before drop off that it would be with him. It was made clear this was not with him during pickup when the employee handed me the bag in their back room. We had paid for the top package, including extra play time but could tell this did not happen. At the end of a stay with Aunt B's a bath was included, but now you are charged an additional $30 without ever being communicated. It's not about cost for us, but when a member of your family is being cared for you want the best, and the care provided by Green Acres is unacceptable. read more

I have used this place twice already and have scheduled a 3rd. I have a 100lb Rottweiler that has some small protective issues, Aunt Bs team didn't just throw him out, they noticed the issue and worked with me to fix the issue. They are responsive my dog loves it there and everyone is friendly. I couldn't ask for a better place to leave a family member when I can't bring him with me. read more

Our sweet lab mix stayed here over Xmas 2017. She had a great time. Although she has her dog pals she plays with back in our hometown, we did not have her play with other dogs in groups there as she gets nervous. Instead, we had her do the daily run in the field in their 5-acre wooded park. The pet caregivers wrote notes about their time with Keba and how much they enjoyed her. I was so relieved everything went well as two years previously we boarded her close to our home in Minneapolis, she got sick at that place, and they had me drive home (4 hours) to get her on Xmas day--and we had just dropped her off Xmas eve morning. I brought my dog to Aunt B's a few times. She has some behavioral and anxiety issues. I was told that the staff could handle it and that everything would be fine. On the last visit, I called to check on how she was doing. The person who answered gave some vague answers at first, but when I pressed for more information over the course of a few minutes, she finally revealed that my dog was in distress. This was the same person who wouldn't look up at me from her computer or acknowledge my presence at all when I had arrived to drop my dog off, even though she was the one staffing the reception desk. That should have been a sign that something was off. I would have appreciated a refund for the last visit and a proactive phone call from the staff about how my dog was doing. I would have had someone go get her. The actual space the dogs stay in is really not great. If you're in the Madison area, I'd highly recommend DogMa home boarding. They're a great company that has provided wonderful, supportive care for my elderly dog. read more

It is a wonderful place to take your pet. They are clean,kind and courteous. They responded promptly when I checked on my dog and all the care givers had written notes on each day they took care of our dog. My dog came back extremely clean and soft and all tuckered out. read more

Our two goldens had a fabulous vacation at Aunt B's! The place is immaculately clean. The care and attention that they gave to our girls was outstanding. They came home with report cards on how they enjoyed their stay. With some terrible experiences at other local kennels, it is a huge relief to know that they have a place they can go to that they have excellent care. read more

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE!! I left my Pomeranian there for 10 days assuming she would be given quality care. Price was no option but for $463 my dog came home with no bark. If she wasn't attended to as they stated someone should have known she went from her normal soprano high voice to baritone deep voice in which we wondered if it was our dog! It took her two weeks of keeping her from barking to get her voice back to normal. That meant no walks! I called and no one answered so I left a voicemail and when they called back it wasn't even Aunt B! It was an employee trying to tell me she didn't bark much and she would like Aunt B known. It has been a few weeks now and my check cleared my bank yesterday so I assume Aunt B will not be following up because she is just out to make a buck and does not care about our pets. All I can do now is warn others to not use this facility. It is took big and they take on took many animals to be able to provide individual attention as they state. read more
