They were very responsive and we soon had the person that was going to stay with our dogs come over for a visit. My dog Jack and I can't say enough good things about Take Paws. I work 11 hour days, so Jane comes and gives Jack a walk in the middle of the day. He is happy to see her, and she always sends a text update. Jack is lucky to stay with Scott when I am away for the weekend or longer. He is always happy to get out of the car and run in - he loves Camp Scott! We did a very valuable leash-training session with Scott. He listened to my concerns and gave on-target feedback. Take Paws has been such a great experience for us and our dog. Both my husband and I do shift work at UW Hospital and it can be unpredictable and long at times; the team is very flexible through it all! They even come late at night and on weekends. Our dog is always excited to see Jane and she always gives us a nice update after her visit. We are much happier with Take Paws than we were with Rover. I am beyond happy with my experience with Take Paws. After getting a new puppy, I needed a dog walker to let him out to pee and run around while I was at work and a friend suggested Take Paws. Our dog walker, Lynn, goes above and beyond just walking, helping our pup socialize with other dogs from his same breed, leaving notes on what they did each day, and just genuinely loving and caring for my dog. Our dog is noticeably calmer and happier on days when Lynn comes over. I feel really confident leaving him home knowing she will be coming over to play and love on him while I am gone. read more

My experience with Take Paws has been wonderful -- Caitlin and her team have been prompt, professional, flexible and friendly. Both Susan and Caitlin have visited my house to check on my cat during times I've been out of town. Surprisingly, my cat has even emerged from her hiding spots to visit with Susan and Caitlin. My kitty is NOT a fan of strangers! I've thus far used Take Paws for cat sitting services for two trips, and I plan to use Take Paws again when I leave town. I've used Take Paws for a little over 2 years now. My dog can be weary of strangers entering the house, but all of the walkers we've had have been very patient with him. Scott is always on time to take Boomer out for his walk and leaves great little report cards on how their walk was. I now board my dog with Scott any time I have to go out of town. If you are like me, your dogs are the most important companions in your life (excluding spouses...most of the time). So, when it came time to find a dog sitter/walker, I was very nervous about leaving them with a stranger. I could not have been more pleased with Christine of Take Paws. She immediately put myself and the dogs at ease with her friendly demeanor. I have three dogs with one dog who can be rather intimidating when meeting new people. Not a problem with Christine. He immediately warmed up to her as did the other dogs. A pleasant surprise was the daily updates with photos of how the dogs were doing during their walks and play time. Angela looked after my cat Dolby while I was away on two trips last month. She send daily updates so I always knew that he was doing well. I was nervous about leaving him because he has had a few health issues in the last three months. When I returned home, Dolby was well cared for, happy, and he had a glossy coat from all the grooming! I know that he was very well looked after and I appreciated the daily notes that Angela left, especially because if he had a flair up while I was away, the vet could easily see a record of how he was doing. We had a wonderful dog walker initially through them, but when she left for another job our next dog walker had minimal experience being around dogs and was unable to walk our 2 dogs at once.
