I'm updating this review now that we have gone a few times over the years. Most recently, I feel like they've actually worked out whatever kinks they needed to. The spanakopita was delicious and the salad was well balanced with other vegetables instead of it just being cucumbers and tomatoes. It's still not Greek Village... But it's definitely more serviceable than the alternatives. And from a delivery standpoint you can get some really nice combos for the fam. read more

This is the "wow" for greek food. Don't get me wrong, here in Surrey you can find good Greek restaurants; but this one is well over good, it is "wow" level. Greek Fellas sets the bar for Greek food for me and it won't be an easy one for others to meet. If there were more than five stars, this restaurant and its team would deserve them all. Greek Fellas is not just a restaurant...it's a feeling, a memory, a small journey to Greece without needing a passport. From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warmth that is genuine, & effortless hospitality that Greeks are known for...the kind that makes you slow down, savour the moment, and stay a little longer than planned. It's rare to encounter a chef who can elevate classic Greek flavours to this level, but they have done it, and they have done it with elegance. I've had a lot of Greek food in the past and this place is hands down the best Greek restaurant in the city! The food is absolutely delicious and filled with authentic Greek flavours that really stand out. Every bite carries care, balance, and authenticity. I was a big fan of the pita bread platter (Tzatziki/Hummus/Tirokafteri & pita). The tzatziki was so creamy and refreshing, and add in the warm, pillowy pita to scoop it all up, & suddenly it's impossible to stop! I'd say the star of the show was the Original Platter and first of all, it's huge! Mouthwatering every single time I think about it! The chicken and lamb were beyond incredible! The calamari was unreal! Tender outside and wonderfully crunchy outside! The Spanakopita was so good, it deserves the spotlight. And their Greek salad is done right! The cheese dish (Saganaki) was fire, literally! Crispy edges, melty inside, with that perfect hint of lemon! I didn't think it could get much better, but it did when we were served all three of their desserts: Ek Mek, Baklava, & Bougatsa. The Ek Mek is a three-layer cake that's light & luscious! The Baklava was an exquisite blend of flaky pastry and rich nuts. The Bougatsa was a flaky, crispy pastry with a creamy custard filling! It was the perfect finale! My mouth is watering just writing this review :) Absolutely killer Greek food and flawless service in the most coziest atmosphere! We ate so well! Expect generous portions, & real Greek hospitality! But what truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service. The service is just phenomenal here. No joke. There are very few restaurants that have this level of service. Seriously... You feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. That kind of presence stays with you long after the table is cleared. The family behind it is as wonderful as their food -- genuine, kind, and committed to keeping their traditions alive. The quality of the food was exceptional--each dish was crafted with the freshest ingredients, and the flavours truly transport you to the Mediterranean. Our server never missed a beat, checking in at just the right moments, and making us feel so taken care of. Thank you to the chef, and staff for going above and beyond. The team and the chef together create an experience that's not just a meal -- it's a moment you'll remember long after you leave. I love the warm and welcoming interior here -- it immediately makes you feel at home. The place was packed, which just goes to show how amazing this restaurant truly is. And let's be honest--I'm not just writing this review out of the goodness of my heart. I want Greek Fellas to be packed every night so they never go out of business, and I can keep eating here forever! It looks like the restaurant has changed hands again and unfortunately, the food quality has gone downhill and does not seem fresh, the smell of the food was a turn off. We also noticed that the prices have been increased. The server was trying his best, but kept dropping things and forgetting items. Such a shame to see what was a local gem go downhill. read more

Greek Fellas is a hidden gem in Delta! This resteraunt does not seem very big on the outside when you drive by. In fact, you might not even notice that there could be an amazing Greek resteraunt in the small corner. However, let me assure you that this is definitely a place you need to try. There menu has everything from calamari, lasagna, lamb or chicken souvlaki, and dessert. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very comforting. Whether it's the vibes from the cool paintings or the chef himself coming out and trying to engage in a conversation (with free alcohol ofcourse). read more

My husband and I were surprised and disappointed. There were 5 sets of 2 tables together and 3 singletons of which we took one. There were absolutely NO Covid19 protocols being followed. No masks, no checking in with name and phone number, no plastic barriers, no social distancing, handling of cutlery etc with bare hands, no super cleaning of vacated tables. The room was about the size of my living room and dining room (not large). The place was almost full and there was nothing that could dampen sound and so it was deafeningly loud. The food was expensive and just ok. Husband had a delicious lasagna (salad would be extra), I had the Greek ribs with all the fixings. Ribs were a bit chewy, rice was heavenly and the rest was normal. The owner came out and offered anyone who would like a shot glass of ouzo or sambouka, which was nice but not presented with any panache. We have lived within 5 blocks for 44 years and crazily enough this was our first, and last, visit. I've had better Greek elsewhere. Too bad. read more

This place is amazing. It is pretty small; we counted less than 40 seats and most of them were empty. But the atmosphere was good, and the server seemed genuinely happy to see us. After placing our order, the chef came out and gave my boyfriend and I each a shot, on the house! I got Sambuca and he got Ouzo. Very nice. Ordered the platter for two and it was huge! Calamari, chicken, lamb, beef, rice, potatoes, bread and appetizer salad. Everything was tasty, and we each had enough food for lunch the next day. I drive the transit bus back and forth on river road from Scott Road Station to Ladner Exchange and pass this restaurant 2 times every trip. I always wanted to go in and check this place out and to see how the food was. Well tonight I did and was not disappointed one bit! The atmoshere is quaint, the staff are awesome and the food was unbeatable!! The food here is amazing. Quite a good find for such a dinky little shop. The store is about the size of a garage and the prices are abnormal. $20 for roasted lamb and $18 for BBQ chicken. I mean, the food is good, but if I wanted to pay this much I would go to the Keg. I would recommend Jim's Greek Taverna instead, much cheaper but not open Tuesday. read more

I haven't been here in a few years and I don't often eat Greek because it's a heavy meal. But my family and I went last night for a late dinner and the food was amazing! It's a Mom&Pop place small but very cute restaurant situated on River Road. The decor was authentic Greece and the owner and his friends were even singing Greek songs as the restaurant was closing. The owner was so nice he came up to our table and gave everyone shots! Our server (possibly the owner's wife) was so nice too! Between 5 people we ordered the platter for 2 (amazing), roast lamb, and the special of the day which was lasagna & Greek ribs. We also got the escargot (yum), & fried Greek cheese. Seriously, this is the best Greek food I have had in BC. I have literally eaten every Greek food there is in BC and this place blows everything out of the water. Proof that you don't need a fancy looking restaurant to make great food. The owner is genuinely nice, checks in your meal experience and gives out shots! The roast lamb is in cooked for hours and the rice is basted for hours in delicious bone juices. Don't waste your money or time anywhere else. This place never disappoints. read more

I have driven past this restaurant many times on my way home from work. Finally, we decided to stop and try it out. OMG!!! I'm so happy we did! This was the best Greek food I have ever had! The portions are huge and the value for your money is awesome! The only bad thing was not stopping in sooner! The cook came out with 4 shot glasses and Sambuca on the house. This was amazing! Ordered take out from Greekfellas for the first time. Being a mom and pop restaurant I expected the service to be friendly, unfortunately that wasn't the case. When we got home, my fiance found a staple in his souvlaki rice, I gave the restaurant a call to let them know and the woman who answered did not seem to be concerned about this at all. She just repeated she did not package our food. Very disappointing first time experience. Don't think we'll be back! read more
