    Combo side salad
    Jessica S.

I'm both thrilled and saddened to find out about this chain of fast food restaurants. Thrilled because I *love* Greek chicken, and sad because I'm somehow just now finding out about it? There are two places in San Diego that I would go to when I needed to scratch my Greek chicken cravings: Alexi's in Hillcrest and Georgia's in Sports Arena. Alexi's stopped serving his version and though Georgia's is still (I think) serving their half roasted chicken, it's not as easy for us to get to her restaurant. We found this chain by accident, on one of our recent roamings through the city. Not knowing portion sizes, or really, anything more than "I need chicken", we each got a combo. I went with the quarter chicken, salad and zucchini fries, my husband got the quarter chicken, gyro and fried zucchini. We each also got the garlic bread. Whooo, boy! When I read "side salad", I thought, "small portion in addition to the main attractions." But no, the side salad was a meal in itself, and way too much for a combo. Generous, indeed. The chicken was everything I'd hoped it'd be. The skin, crispy and seasoned. The meat, juicy and flavorful. The citrusy, zesty drippings made my mouth water, even as I was shoving the meat into my face. The fried zucchini was served in strips, and I rather enjoyed the breading they used with it. The "garlic bread" was unexpected, as well; it was a grilled cheese sandwich! My husband said the gyro meat was tender and had good flavor, as well. This is a great find, and I'm eager to go back again (though I won't be getting the side salad!) I wish they had more central locations, but we will absolutely drive for this.

Service friendly and timely upon arrival through drive-thru. Clean establishment from the outside as far as what I can see. Plenty of places for parking and wheelchair accessible when dinning in. I had the Greek chicken salad. I've had better from this place but the chicken today was dry and chicken a little over cooked. The dressing was definitely needed for this salad. The veggies were fresh and salad dressing was delicious. If the meat was cooked to perfection it would have been amazing. They give you pita or garlic bread which is wrapped in foil and softy and chewy as I opted for the pita. I also order some onion rings which came out fresh. They are ok but what made the onion rings yummy was the ranch dressing that they give you with them otherwise they would have been a bust. Over all I which my lunch was ok. Would I come back again yes because they do have yummy chicken Kabobs plates and gyros on pita. I think today was a fluke or at least it hope it was.... I recommend you check their several locations if ever in the area.

Called in to pick up order and they said only if it was over 100.00 dollars as they were not busy. When I got there, they were busy so I had to wait about 20 minutes vs just picking up the order. Not a good policy. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and chicken kabob. The food was delicious! I also had a pineapple shake that was too sweet!

Absolutely ridiculous how this place takes advantage of customers you spend 60 damn dollars and they're gonna charge you $1.95 for extra side of Gyro sauce on the side!!!! Every month this place puts the price up . no matter how good your food is doesn't mean you're gonna rip people off. Never coming back here again. Just for the simple fact that they don't appreciate customers. Being this greedy will destroy your business.

My cuts that happen when I opened the aluminum containers

Their services I went to order five separate orders, a chicken and rice. They put everything in a party size 10 container when I open the tin container it cut me twice on my finger and my thumb. I asked them if they can do separate containers for the chicken and the rice and they did not when I told him that they messed up on my order that I was trying to feed the homeless people they got kind of smart with me as I can say and said well you got what you paid for no in my eyes I did not. They were supposed to be separate so I can feed five separate people. How am I supposed to feed people like this? My people are my people they're not dogs and nor do they eat like dogs with no plates or silverware they really need to up their game and not take things in their own hands, they should 100% ask the customer and the customer is always right at this restaurant. They don't care about your customer service.

Always good food here ! Salads are fresh , food is hot! Staff is not efficient. Service in drive thru takes a bit , but if you want quality food , you will wait patiently! Ambiance is casual . I highly recommend this location !

This place used to be the best. Went there today and the service and food were terrible. I ordered the two kebab meal. First my drink was flat. I told the girl at the drive through and didn't believe me so she poured herself some and said "oh, yeah." She pour soda water from the machine and told me to "mix it" and try it. I kept thinking if the soda machine is out of carbonation, how are you thinking the soda water works. I told her it was still the same and she said she could "fix it." I had a line of cars behind me and thought, whatever. Left and got home. Didn't receive my salad the rice was under cooked/crunchy. What happened to this place? It was amazing at one point. Unfortunately, wouldn't recommend.

3.5 stars This place is a favorite to go to when we are in the neighborhood. We almost always go through the drive thru. Great customer service, quick drive thru line. The food is good! We especially like the fried zucchini. We ordered a couple of meals and all the food was good but I felt like the chicken was overcooked and the salad had lettuce that was starting to turn brown. I was disappointed. Gyro meat, fab; Texas toast, yum; pita bread, essential; zucchini fries, fab; onion rings, yes!

Infested with roaches sometimes go in the food especially the salads. Surprised this place hasn't got shut down yet.

Skewer dinner!!!! I stopped by to try this Greek chicken and let me tell you it wasn't all that!!!! First the girl in the cashier greeted me with an attitude told her to give me a min she walked away and asked some one to help me!!! Any who I can say I was a little too disappointed. I kinda felt like I was eating pollo loco!! There was nothing special about the rice it was plain and taste less the salad was okay the bell peppers made up for it!! I didn't eat the bread I was all ready irritated on how my meal went I was expecting more since it's Greek chicken but no I was really disappointed!! Never again!!! They have no sauces for the food hot sauce in a packet yaa super American!! I recommend TKS best spot ever!!!

I discovered this place decades ago and I am so glad it's still in business. The flavor and quality haven't changed since I last had it. If it ain't broke don't fix it! I wish I could have this on a regular but the closest location is more than an hour away. I'm going to try to make it a habit of stopping here whenever I'm in the area.

On a Friday night, I made the mistake of choosing this restaurant to treat my family, and it turned out to be quite the disappointment. I ordered a gyros pita--no tomatoes, extra onion, and the meat well done--along with a chicken pita and some zucchini fries. When I got home and realized they'd messed up my order, I called the restaurant and spoke with Alex. He asked me to send a photo of the food, which I did, and he admitted the order was incorrect. He offered a refund AND a free gyros sandwich replacement. I asked for credit for two sandwiches instead since I paid in cash. He said could refund it to any credit card if I read him the numbers. No one in their right mind would give ANYONE a credit card number over the phone. So I asked him if he could just replace it to two sandwiches to which he agreed and said he wrote it down. However, when I returned on Sunday to collect my "credit," I was met by Mirna, who told me it was only good for one sandwich. When I asked to speak to Alex, she claimed he was "busy" and wouldn't come out. She insisted she had spoken to him and that the offer was still just for one sandwich. I was lied to. No one needs to deal with this especially After a long day at work. This place really needs to improve its customer service. I have been trying to contact George for 3 days now only to be met with hesitation, staff behaving like secret service is laughable. Clearly it's not about the money but the principle. Based on the reviews I've seen, it appears that Gregory, the owner, copy-pastes generic responses. They lack a personal touch and don't address the individual customer's experience or offer a solution.

All the meat options are good but my favorite is the beef kabob or the chicken kabob. The lamb tikka can sometimes be dry but the smoky flavor is very nice. I also really like their falafel, it's not as dense as falafels you find in Americanized spots. You can really taste the herbs and paired with their tahina dipping sauce, it's amazing. Of course I have to mention their portion sizes. For the price you're paying and the amount of food/quality of food you're getting, it's such a good deal and hard to beat. It has been one of my favorite and reliable spots to eat in San Diego. The servers are all very friendly. Sometimes they expect you to know what you want right away but I think that's because they get a lot of regular customers who do know what they already want. The ambiance is very casual and it's definitely a spot for families to gather for a comforting meal. Just a note, they won't serve you tap water so if you're not willing to pay for bottled water, I suggest bringing your own water bottle. Not really a downside for me but just a heads up for others. Don't let deter you from trying this amazing place out though!!!

When I politely explained to the cashier that I had ordered a sandwich, not the cut-up version, her response was extremely rude and unprofessional. She said, "Okay, just eat it. It's going down your throat anyway. Same sandwich, same taste." I have never seen this cashier before, so I assume she may be new. I don't know her name, but her attitude toward customers was completely unacceptable. The owner later spoke with me and apologized, which I genuinely appreciate. My complaint is not about the owner or the food, but about the cashier's disrespectful attitude. My advice to management: When hiring new cashiers or employees, please make sure they understand basic customer service and how to speak respectfully to customers. If someone is in a bad mood and cannot treat customers properly, they should not bring that attitude to work.

Not quite casual, a little fancy but not really elevated dining or anything. Nice ambiance and polite, attentive service. We ordered the spreads combo platter that came with spicy Turkish baba ganoush, regular baba ganoush, hummus, and tzatziki. It was served with piping hot pita. This was delicious, worth coming for on its own. It was my first time having Turkish baba ganoush, it was delicious! The hummus and tzatziki were excellent. I especially love the addition of a unique crunchy garnish for each dip; chickpeas on the hummus, olives on the Turkish baba ganoush, pomegranate seeds on the baba ganoush, and coarser chopped cucumber in the tzatziki. Presentation is also beautiful, with all the color and each dip smoothed in a nice pattern. My only wish is that the baba ganoush is a little smokier. We also had the Ney classic grill which came with beef shawarma, beef skewer, chicken skewer, 2 lamb kofta, and breaded chicken. The menu claims this serves 2-3, but we probably only ate half between 4 relatively light eaters after our spread combo. I really enjoyed the shawarma; the chicken and filet mignon is a little light on the seasoning but the flavor is otherwise good; the kofta could be more tender in my opinion. I rarely see chicken cream chop in grill platters, but it was well executed. The platter also comes with pickles and rice and biryani, all of who I enjoyed. The biryani comes with almonds and raisins and everything has a nice sumac flavor. They also include garlic sauce and tahini; the garlic is really punchy. The jalapeno was crazy spicy. Everything is served on a bed of lavash, but it gets a little soggy under all the meat. If I were to give feedback, I would prefer the shawarma a little less salty and the grilled filet mignon and chicken a little more salty. Not sure why it's so disparate. For the amount of food, the price is very reasonable for a seated dining experience. One note is that they really blast the AC, so dress a little on the warmer side if you run cold. Come with 4-6+ people, order the spreads platter and the grill platter, and enjoy!
