Joe was very responsive throughout the process and came out day 1 to give me a free quote and quoted me 3 different options. The guys who completed the work were very professional and did a good job of installing. For patching a floor with new wood next to old wood, they made it work in a way to works for us which is a challenging task. Not only that, but they found some floor joist issues below the plywood and were able to fix those on top of installing the floors, which is very impressive for a flooring company to be able to handle on the spot. Joe was very responsive throughout the process and answered every call I had. My only difficulty was that it was challenging explaining what we needed with workers who couldn't speak English. This led to me having to call Joe a lot and there were a few small items that weren't done exactly as I'd have liked due to language barriers, but they were nothing major and doesn't change the 5 star review. Would highly recommend using Joe or getting a quote for all flooring needs.

The engineered hardwood flooring in my home was in dire need of repair. Rain water had seeped in…read moreand the wood was warped and discolored by the front door. The rest of the floor was scratched and scuffed, and I'd used all sorts of product on the floor trying to "restore it to it's natural finish". Those products only made it look dull and filmy. I contacted two flooring companies, both listing "hardwood resurfacing" as one of their services. However, when they came to my home to provide an estimate, they measured the floor for thickness and both stated they were "too thin" to be resurfaced and my only option was to install brand new flooring, which of course a service they provided! They each pressured me to purchase new floors and assured me I had no other option. My third call was to My Hardwood Floor Guy. James contacted me immediately and that same day, a member of his team came to my home. He measured the floor for thickness and my first thought was "oh, here we go again...", but to my pleasant surprise, he said, "oh yes. We can resurface these." The next day, two members of his team arrived promptly at 9am and got to work. They sanded the section by the door where the wood was water-warped, and made the floors smooth and even. Since the wood was also darker and discolored in this area, it was suggested that I stain the floors the same dark shade as the damaged wood. I yielded to their judgment and told them to do what they thought best. The end result was gorgeous hardwood flooring for 1/3 of the cost the other two flooring companies wanted for brand new floors. I don't think the first two companies ever had any intention of resurfacing the floors and only used that as a ploy to come into my home and convince me to purchase something I did not need and could not afford. This was not the case with My Hardwood Floor Guy. They arrived at my home with the intention of providing the exact service they advertised. They are awesome and I highly recommend them.

We went to the showroom and met with Steve when inquiring about redoing our floors. We initially thought we wanted hardwood or engineered hardwood and told him we wanted the most durable hardwood possible. He let us know that while some are better than others, the only flooring with a warranty for water and pet damage was a luxury vinyl flooring that's fairly new. We were skeptical of vinyl at first, but it looked so much like wood, and the lifetime warranty and price won us over. I also want to note that when Steve came out for the measurement and estimate, we made it clear we needed individuals who could move the furniture. We have a glass dining table, and we had no means of moving it, and other flooring quotes we had didn't include the moving, and they refused to do it. Steve, on the other hand, was very receptive and let us know that his guys could definitely move the table and accommodate us. We were thrilled. We were able to get it installed in less than 2 weeks from the quote. They happily accommodated our request to do it so quickly, and they were extremely professional the whole time. The deposit was a bit large, but so much of the cost is the cost of materials, so it made sense to me. The crew who did the installation were seriously top notch both days. I cannot rave about them enough. They were early, professional, and friendly. I felt completely comfortable with them in my home and doing the job. I would 100% use them again for another job, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needed any kind of flooring. These are your guys!

This was a complex project due to the glue down installation of bamboo floors that had to be removed at the second level of the house. Portions of the first floor finished in polished concrete were also installed - all along a gentle curve.. The care and precision of installation was perfect, particularly working around a curved steel stair case that was finished in 3" floating black walnut treads. After a year of use and a long overdue review, I remain extremely impressed with the durability and beauty of these floors. The entire team was fantastic to work with, particularly Steve and his install lead Cesar. When you have a single guy on the install team that makes all of the cuts, you know they have their process down pat. We did not have a single punch item on the job. After our personal experience, we had Steve provide floors for my daughter's house in Mercer Island, Washington. Steve advised on locating a certified flooring installer and the results there were fantastic - a custom herringbone pattern and color perfectly fitting the mid-mod house. We highly recommend European Floors and Steve's entire team.

I learnt from the manufacturer that only 5 retailers in all of Houston were authorized resellers. I reached out to them all. Three never bothered getting back to me, one quoted me way more than what I knew it should cost, and then there was Timberline. I called and spoke with Titus, who was incredibly helpful and responsive from the get go. He had a quote ready for me within a day, and we agreed upon a very fair price. I was told the order would be delivered in about a week, and it was. There was some minor damage caused to my garage floor by the delivery company, and I texted Titus immediately to inform him. He told me he would take care of it, and I'm actually typing this out as the work is being finished, only a couple of days later. He's a consumate professional whom I'd recommend without hesitation. I'm very satisfied with Timberline, and I'll be sure to update this review with pictures once the installation is complete.
