I was in desperate need of an adjustment on a Saturday for a reoccurring neck issue. Dr. Z was kind enough to take me as a new patient on a Saturday. He was able to get my neck back in place (which is not an easy task) and helped me move around for both traction and this fantastic roller table that helped loosen up my entire spine. Awesome Chiropractor! A friend turned me on to this place, and I was glad he did! My main gripe with Chiropractors, is that they tell you what you want to hear, and try to rush you out the door, and get as much money out of you in the process as possible. DR DALE IS DIFFERENT. He actually cares, and will listen to what is bothering you. Not to mention, he will massage the knots out of trigger points, and provide relief to muscles, as well as joints. I've never seen a chiropractor before and was a bit nervous. That feeling went away within minutes after meeting Dr. Dale. He was so welcoming, professional and knowledgable. He's very flexible with his schedule to accommodate yours. He took the time to understand where my pain was and to explain his approach to my therapy. I really appreciated the fact that he wouldn't do an x-ray unless he really felt it was necessary (and he didn't). Dr. Dale takes the less evasive approach to treating you and you definitely don't get the feeling that he's trying to convince you to accept unnecessary procedures in order to boost the cost of your visit. The best part was the results. I had sciatica and was in more pain than I could imagine. On top of that, in about a week and a half from my first visit, I was taking off on a 23 hour flight to Singapore. After a steady schedule of treatments and realignments with Dr. Dale, I was back to normal by the time of my flight. He's a lifesaver! Dr. Dale is very passionate about his practice and it certainly shows in the way he treats his patients. I started using Dale about 2 years ago. I am so happy to have found his office through a recommendation by a friend. I am 6'1" and in the past have had difficulty finding chiropractors that were strong enough to adjust me properly, and release the problem points that were locked up. His facility is clean and well maintained. He has a number of different traction electro-stim machines, for treatment use as well. Dale is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and I feel great afterwards! It's usually easy to get in to see him. And I confidently recommend him. read more

I recently had two very bad falls that prevented me from walking or moving for that matter. My current chiropractor at the time was out of town, so my sister, who is a patient of Dr. Dale, contacted Dr. Dale about my situation. He suggested that I should not see a Chiropractor because I could have broken something, and until we knew for certain, he thought it was wise to wait. I think a lot of Chiropractor's would have said to come in (even if they knew there was nothing they could) just so they could bill me. After I had my MRI and we realized it was a severely herniated disk, he still recommended no chiropractic care yet because it could cause more damage, but was so incredible to contact me several times a day to see how I was feeling and whether or not of I was progressing. My pain still hadn't changed so he gave me a few names of pain management places that were exceptional. After four weeks I finally have some pain relief. Dr. Dale is still not my doctor but I will inquire whether he is in my network. If he is, I will plan on switching Chiropractors. He never knew me but cared for me as if I was his patient. Dr. Dale will go above and beyond to ensure that you are getting the best possible care whether if it is with him or other specialized doctors. He is AMAZING!!!!!! I would highly recommend calling him if you are considering him as one of your possible doctor choices. I also had heard that he has a wonderful "one of the best in the business" massage therapists too. I recently walked into the Greater Chicago Chiropractic office as I had just moved to this neighborhood and wanted to see what the place was like as I was looking for a new Chiropractor. Dr. Dale was able to sit and talk with me right away and I immediately felt comfortable and ended up getting an exam and adjustment that visit. His adjustments are firm but gentle and he does a great job of massaging and relaxing the muscles before he actual does the adjustment. The electro-stem machine, roller machine and massage are also excellent benefits offered. I had a massage with Noel last week and it was one of the best massages I have ever had and can not wait to schedule another one with him! It is a small office, with no pressure to purchase large upfront packages like some of the larger "chain" chiropractors. I am so glad I stopped in and would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I called and talked to Dr. Zuehlke about a shoulder issue. An orthopedic surgeon was recommending surgery. Before committing to surgery, I figured I would give a chiropractor a call just to make sure that I had covered all my options. Dr.Z was very honest, explained that he wouldnt feel comfortable working on my shoulder (and that no chiropractor should) based-off the injuries I described, which I wont go into. He didnt try to sell me on anything, he didnt pitch me on coming in for a realignment or anything like that. He simply provided free advice. His honesty was greatly appreciated. read more

Best Chiropractor ever! And this is no extradition! A few months back I had some serious back pain that I ignored for some time and went skiing (come on! the reservations ware already made :) ). After coming back from the trip my back pain got very bad, to the point where walking was pretty much impossible. I made an appointment with Dr. Zuehlke and even on the phone he asked a bunch of questions to check if he can actually help. He also gave me advice on what to do right away to feel better even before I see him. Thanks to that advice I was actually able to get to his office for treatment. The treatment lasted about 4 weeks with some 3 visits a week. Every day I was getting better and my life was getting back to normal. Primary treatment consisted of electric stimulation of my back muscles and adjustments (very delicate at first and more substantial as treatment progressed). Dr. Zuehlke is truly one of the kindest and most caring people I've ever met. He would text me every now and then to learn how I was feeling and would give me additional advice on how to ease the pain. After one of the first session, when I was still barely walking he even gave me a lift home. All in all, I owe this man a lot! He helped me in one of the most painful times of my life and now I'm back in shape preparing for another triathlon. read more

As others have said, Dr. D is always responsive when you have issues - with your back, your appointment, or really, anything else. Dr. D is also the best when it comes to recommending other doctors or solutions that might suffice better than his own. For example, he recommended a posture pump to me, which costs around 100$, knowing it would save me hundreds of dollars since I would be coming to him much, much less. I have been seeing Dale since 1994, when I first moved to Chicago and think he is terrific. Whenever I need to get adjusted, I call him up and he invites me over. It is that simple. He does not pressure me to get adjusted four times a week for a month straight, like other chiropractors. His approach is thorough in that he massages my back a bit before he adjusts me and takes his time. We have gotten to know one another over the years and I find him an enjoyable person to see and I appreciate his care and concern. Dale treats clients of all types. Men, women, gay, straight, young, old. He also has a massage therapist who operates out of his office. Dale has suggested I give Noel a try, but I have not yet found the time to do so. As you can see from my other reviews, I have a dedicated massage therapist I cannot live without and I have little interest in trying anyone else. Dr. Dale is fantastic! I'm a zookeeper and began seeing him earlier this year. From the first visit, he was personable and knowledgable. He is honest with his diagnosis and does not pressure you into any treatments you don't want. He simply suggests what might benefit you most but is willing to help you anyway he can. I have seen him take patients that phoned in at the last minute showing me that he cares very much for the comfort of his patients. I've heard him phone patients to follow up on the care he has given them to be sure they're still doing ok. Finally! A chiropractor who actually adjusts!! After my original chiropractor retired a few years ago, I'd been looking for another to help with chronic neck and back pain resulting from both an accident and active lifestyle. I must have tried at least 30 different other chiropractors, with results ranging from zero relief, miniscule relief, to even worst pain. Dale and Noel are truly as good as they get. Both are super nice and are very well educated in their fields. I've seen chiropractors and massage therapists before, and none of them could really identify my problems or fix them. However Dale is quite the opposite I've had about 10 adjustments done from Dale so far and already am I noticing a great difference in my back. I've had two massages with Noel that were just what I needed, very thorough and relieving. The combination of Dale's adjustments and physical therapy and Noel's massages, your pain is sure to be relieved after a few visits. Something else I really admire and appreciate about Dale is he is not one to push at all. Other chiropractors I had seen insisted I came in for adjustments about 3 to 5 times a week. Dale really is just about whatever you are comfortable with, of course he will give you his professional opinion but will never make you feel obligated to come back for more adjustments.
