Besides being a phenomenal Chiropractor, Marty is extremely flexible and has a great personality which makes you feel comfortable during your visits even when you are in pain. Initially, I went to see him for a herniated disc in 2007 and most recently for a bulging disc on my neck. I've referred him to everyone i know and now my entire family sees him. He is a true professional who stays current in treatments in the field. 5+++++ stars DEFINITELY recommend Marty. read more

Dr. LaBuda is the real deal. I've been in desperate need of a chiro with experience, knowledge and compassion. Rarely do I ever leave reviews, but this one is warranted. Had my first visit today after a lower back injury, and will be returning as I'm already feeling relief. MAJOR pros about the visit: 1. Extremely clean/organized office. Modern also. 2. Super clean, quality and new equipment. 3. An informative and educating session on the back/spine etc. with images and real-time visuals. Amazing. 4. Friendly doctor who seems to actually care about your well-being. 5. Full adjustment, massage, treatment plans etc. Didn't have to ask for anything. I'm seriously so happy about my visit and looking forward to all my back pain going away. 5 star from me. Definitely recommend! read more

My favorite Chiropractor. Every session is catered to how you feel that day. Unlike most chiro I've been to where you were left in a corner doing recovery exercises and get a 2 second adjustment. Dr. LaBuda was very attentive and had lots of different things he uses to help you relax your muscle and release the knots. We've tried theragun, kinesio tape, graston. Whenever I had a problem I can always ask him and I haven't had a time where he didn't know the answer to lol Highly recommend if you are looking for a good chiro place. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Martin since October of 2018. I found Lake View Chiropractic on Yelp because I had never seen a chiropractor before and I had been having a ton of pain in my back as well as in my hips. This was happening because of a ton of standing every day at work and it was not going away. Dr. Martin got back to me on a Saturday within 20 minutes through the Request An Appointment and scheduled me in within the week. It was super easy to fill out all the forms and he not only let me know that they could accept my insurance but also work with me every single time to figure out how many visits are available and how much I owe. The initial consultation was extremely thorough and he was extremely conversational as well as made everything super easy to understand having never been to a chiropractor before. He also asks great questions about my day to day life and remembers all the details the next time I come back and asks me all about it. Not only has my pain gone down significantly but I look forward to every appointment because it doesn't feel like seeing a doctor, it feels like having a conversation with a close friend. Thank you for all your help to this point and moving forward! read more

After seeing a physical therapist on and off for 6-8 months in 2018, my family recommended I try out a chiropractor as an alternative solution. I've been seeing Dr. Labuda regularly now for a little over a month and the pain in my upper back is now little to non-existent! It's a dream to wake up in the morning after having slept several hours straight--I couldn't remember the last time I was able to do this! The entire staff is beyond friendly and helpful; can't recommend Dr. Labuda and his office enough. read more

PREGNANT? Ladies, look no further. Dr. Martin LaBuda has gotten me through two pregnancies, one with bizarre ligament ailments. He was very communicative and handled me very conservatively. I'll never go anywhere else. In fact, when I was a patient elsewhere, I was simply maintained in dysfunction, but the goal at Lake View Chiropractic is to get you better, not keep you coming back. Another advantage? This place is a one-stop shop: muscle work, adjustment, physical therapy. One co-pay for all those services? Do the math. I even convinced my husband (who may be the world's original curmudgeon) to visit when he was suffering a flare-up from an old injury that had never been diagnosed, though he'd pursued treatment from a GP and a chiropractor at the time. Dr. Marty figured out what happened all those years ago, and was able to counsel my husband about how to keep himself healthy without treatment. We were very impressed with Dr. Marty's ethics. read more

I had hurt my back during the peak of the stay at home order and desperately needed to have someone see me. I reached out to Lake View Chiropractic via Yelp, as it was in my neighborhood, to see if I could get in to see someone. Dr. Marty was quick to reply and was able to get me in to see him the next evening! The office was extremely clean/sanitized and Dr. Marty made me feel very comfortable, as this was my first time ever having seen a chiropractor. I saw Dr. Marty a total of 4-5 times over a month and he helped me and my back tremendously. Would definitely recommend to anyone. read more

Highly recommend! Marty, the owner is great. Spent a lot of time talking to me about all of my pain and problem areas to make sure he had all the information I wanted him to know. We tried several techniques on my hamstring injury and I am extremely happy with the results after one session. Marty was quick to answer and schedule appointments and I am looking forward to my next appointment. read more

I literally just left after my 1st appointment with Scott Berger. Scott was very thorough. I had like 5 pages of new patient forms to fill out. Not too bad, really. He went over them with me asking great questions and took notes. He let me know how the rest of the appointment would go. He was so gentle but very effective. I told him. He explained what he was doing and why the whole time. I feel 99% relief from low back pain. I have a little muscle pain 1% but that is inflammation. He can't just make it disappear. That doesn't just go away instantly after so long. I cannot say enough good things about him. I have booked him next week. Go! You will not regret it. read more

I met Dr. Berger when I went in with nerve tingling in my left arm. I'd had this before, and an adjustment usually did the trick. My usual Doctor wasn't available, so here I was with Dr. Berger. He did some initial massage, and hit a knot in my right shoulder. Oww, but on we go. The adjustments were fine, but my right arm wasn't happy. I left with nerve tingling in my right AND left arms. I went back to see their massage therapist to see if that would help. First visit...meh. Second visit, she hit that same spot in my right shoulder and made me sit upright from the pain. My last visit with the Doc... I explain how I'm feeling. He suggests I go to a specialist. "Do you know someone?" I ask. He wrote down a phone number for Northwestern and said I should just call them. I was almost in tears, asking for a plan, a suggestion. Nada. His final words before I left? "Good luck!" I went to another Doctor who gave me a plan and solved the issue. Done. I'd never go back to this place. I've never been left so hopeless by a Doctor. read more

Marty LaBuda is the best chiropractor I have been to. I have been to other excellent chiropractors but Marty has surpassed them. I have been going to Marty LaBuda for a little under a year. He adjusts my leg lengths, back and neck. He is also a big advocate of manual adjustments which have never worked for me. His manual adjustments work and I have changed my views about them. He also uses the hydraulic drop-down table which few chiropractors in Chicago have. He uses it to keep my leg lengths even. He has been at the same location for over 10 years and his office hours are fantastic - he works Monday through Saturday which makes it very easy to book an appointment or for that essential emergency where you just have to go in right away. Marty is professional, has a very positive and caring personality and is very knowledgeable in his field. He is the epitome of what a chiropractor should be. read more

This is my third review for Lakeview Chiropractic and I have seen Marty for now 7 years! I now go for maintenance on my back as I no longer have constant pain like I did before going here. Marty is very knowledgeable, friendly and really cares about his patients. Case in point, I just recently moved to the suburbs and I still make it a priority to travel into the city for my appointments. There are many chiropractors all over, but I can't see myself going anywhere else! read more

This place is amazing. I have been seeing Dr. Hackett for a few weeks now and I have not felt so good in years. I have problems with my jaw that I never imagined a Chiropractor could help me with. Luckily, my dentist (Lee Dental Clinic - a few doors down - also amazing) recommended I see Dr. Hackett and it has seriously changed my life. Dr. Hackett is very knowledgable, he can tell which muscles hurt just by touching them and I've seen results very quickly. I've never been more excited to go to a doctors appointment, because I know that I'll leave feeling better then before! Not only that but he is very friendly and personable. It is very easy to make appointments with him and they are also very understanding and flexible with payments. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Hackett to anyone who is considering going to a chiropractor. read more

First I want to apologize that I have not commented on here sooner! I've been seeing Dr. LaBuda since 2009 after a terrible car accident and I'm truly grateful and blessed that I happened to find him. I was new to the neighborhood and wasn't sure what chiropractor I could trust. I walked in and right away was tended to, even though they were busy. Throughout the 3 years Dr. LaBuda has been treating me (the last few years have been for regular maintenance) I have grown an appreciation for what he does and have a better understanding of the holistic approach - applying the concept to my health. Dr. LaBuda spends a great amount of time learning about how HE can help YOU. He teaches YOU the physiological terms in ways that adapt to YOUR learning styles. For example, I'm a visual learner and he explained the problematic areas by utilizing his computer programs and "muscle dummies - mannequins". If I had a question and he didn't know the answer (very rare), he was honest and did the research. The next visit he would inform me of his findings. He is extremely thorough with his notes, which came in handy since I am now dealing with insurance companies and attorney's. He is a WORKAHOLIC that will extend his hours if necessary just to make sure his patients are taken care of. In all, I want to thank Dr. LaBuda for all of the support and knowledge that he has provided throughout the years. THANK YOU!!! read more

Dr. Marty is fantastic. I had issues with my lower back and and neck on my left side. Dr. Marty gave me an initial consultation to discuss my issues. He explained to me what he thought my problems were and explained how he could treat me. He was very professional and informative. I have since been going to him on a weekly basis and can honestly say there is a dramatic improvement. The office is beautiful and the exam rooms are clean and provide a very relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend Dr. Marty and Lakeview Chiropractic. read more

I have been regularly seeing a chiropractor for well over a decade. I've moved around quite a bit, so I've had quite a few different doctors in that time span, and I can honestly say that without a doubt, I have never ever had a chiropractor who has spent as much time and energy in helping me solve my pain problems as Dr. Scott Berger at Lakeview Chiropractic. I've been in chronic pain for about 2.5 years, and Scott is the fourth chiropractor I've seen during this time, because none of the others were even able to touch the pain or make any sort of difference. They all did the exact same 3 adjustment maneuvers over and over again, and kept telling me to just be patient. I started seeing Scott in April of this year, and I am ecstatic that I am finally starting to feel like myself again. What sets these guys apart from the rest, is that they perform extensive muscle and soft-tissue work in addition to the typical adjustment, and for me it has made all the difference in the world. No two sessions have been identical, as each time Scott listens to what is bothering me, and experiments with new muscles to find that hidden spot that is somehow the real source of the pain. If adjusting me one way isn't working, he tries another and then another until we're successful. I came in for back and hip problems, but he has made a true difference for me by focusing on my calves and glutes. He has also shown me some invaluable stretching exercises, and given me exercises to do on my own. I can't say enough good things about Scott, and I am truly grateful that I started coming to Lakeview. If you have tried other chiropractors and are frustrated with the experience, lack of attention, and most importantly, frustrated with being in constant pain, definitely give it one more try! read more

I have been going to Lakeview for several years now, and I'm flummoxed as to why it took me so long to write a review of a place that I think is so fantastic! Dr. Labuda is an exceptional caregiver, he cares not only about the treatment of your issue, but the root of it and being able to give long-term results as opposed to a quick fix. I have referred him numerous times and continued to. Don't give it a second thought if you are looking for a chiropractor- Marty and Scott are the guys to see! read more

Lake View Chiropractic is as good as it gets. I can't even remember how long I have been seeing Marty LaBuda but I can't imagine going to anyone else. Not only is he a great chiropractor but he is a great person. He not only does my alignments but he does my physical therapy. I had surgery on my right shoulder for frozen shoulder and I hated it. When I developed frozen shoulder in my left shoulder I decided against surgery and went to Marty for my physical therapy. Marty has been so successful that I no longer suffer any pain in my left shoulder and my range of motion continues to increase. Marty has also made great headway on increasing the range of motion on the right shoulder which did have surgery. I also have arthritis in my knees and hips and because of the physical therapy Marty does I am frequently pain free. When Marty was on vacation and I absolutely needed to see a chiropractor, I couldn't even wait the three days until he returned, I went to see his associate Dr. Scott Berger. I highly recommend Scott as well. It is of great value to me that there are two highly qualified and very personable doctors in the office so I will never have to suffer pain unnecessarily, because both Marty and Scott are excellent chiropractors I am always covered. read more

Marty is very knowledgeable and professional. He has not only helped to fix some of my postural problems, but also educated me as to the how and why I had them in the first place. Also, the rates are fair and the place is clean and updated. Highly recommended. read more

I just wanted to update my review of Dr Marty LaBuda at Lake View Chiropractic and let you know that he is still the best chiropractor! I recently was fitted by Dr. Marty for custom orthotics and couldn't be happier. They fit great inside my sneakers and even in my Ugg boots. Besides the superb chiropractic care offered, Dr. Marty can also help you with orthotics. I love mine! Thank you Dr. Marty for always being so flexible and accomodating my schedule. I truly appreciate your compassion. read more

I have been a patient of Marty for about 3 years. My sister, my husband, and my husbands co-worker are also patients. I see him because of neck pain and headaches and sometimes plantar fasciitis. Marty is very flexible with scheduling. My sister and I have called him in the past when we are in alot of pain, and he always tries his best to get us in right away. Also our insurance can sometimes be difficult and confusing, and Marty always takes care of the paperwork and makes sure our visits our covered. I feel so much better after visiting him and my neck pain and headaches usually subside after a few visits. My family trust Marty with our care, and we are very happy with him as our chiropractor. read more

I've been seeing a chiropractor on and off for the last 15 years and through that time I've seen a lot of them - Dr. Berger is one of the best. Unlike other chiropractors, Dr. Berger actually listens to what's bothering you and tailors the procedure/appointment accordingly. Not only does he give a great adjustment, but he takes the time to do some deep tissue work and has also provided me with helpful at-home stretches. read more

Marty is the best thing that has ever happened to my back. I've only been there for a week and he has helped immediately. With a mix of knowledge and experience he knows exactly what needs to be done. He listens and is extremely intuitive. My insurance is UnitedHealth and I get a great deal. Flexible times too. Highly recommend for anybody with pain. read more

Amazing. I just became a patient of Dr. Martin. He was amazing! I have been seeing Chiropractors for almost 20 years and he is hands down the best. Never have I felt so relaxed, educated, or taken care of. NEVER! He is amazing. He has been the first one to ever 'follow through' after and adjustment. Most just adjust you and send you on your way. He is knowledgeable enough to know there needs to be follow through for the adjustment to 'stick'. For me chiropractic care is preventative maintenance and I plan on being a patient of his for a really long time. I cannot express how happy I am with my new chiropractor! read more

Dr. Labuda has helped relieve the pain i felt in my back and shoulder. As a dentist, I have had neck and back problems from bending, twisting, and leaning in different directions. This office is a life saver! My back problems got to a point where I needed treatment, and one of my friends recommended me to this office. Both doctors are great and personable. I see Dr. Hackett for my treatment. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met, as well as one of the smartest. His knowledge of human anatomy and muscles and joints is like he has a volume of Netter's Atlas stashed in his brain. After a good period of visits involving stretching and core-building exercises, I am pain free and now go on a periodic basis for maintenance checkups. If you have any kind of issues anywhere in your body, go to this office. 100% recommended!!! read more

Dr. Hackett is the best chiropractor I've ever seen hands down. He's not interested in selling you supplements or scheduling unnecessary appointments. His sole desire is helping his patients. He's spent countless hours continuing his education so he can be as knowledgable as possible, and it shows. His understanding of the body and the way everything interacts is amazing. I'm a difficult case as I sustained a permanent back injury years ago that frequently causes pain but won't allow me to be adjusted. This hasn't been an issue because Dr. Hackett is so knowledgable he relieves the pain with massage techniques, stretches and exercises. He's literally taken the place of my physical therapist. Dr. Hackett's expertise is evident in the results. He's friendly, thorough and a great listener. He makes sure he understands the issue before starting treatment. I've never worked with a better doctor. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

I threw my back out lifting a table and needed an adjustment right quick. Couldn't walk Monday AM and called LakeView Chiropractic. I was seen right away. There are two chiropractors here and I was treated by Dr. Marty. I was up and walking after a 30 minute session of adjustments and electro-stimulation with ice. Dr. Marty was great in explaining my mechanism of injury and methodologies used to treat the injury. He is not pushy in scheduling appts. and is always on time. Makes time to fit your schedule as well. Also, he's always in a good mood which makes the experience more tolerable. I came to Lake View Chiropractic in February 2016 with a herniated disc that was connecting to the sciatic nerve. I'm only 31 years old, and someone who enjoys staying active, so this was a cause for concern. When I met Dr. LaBuda, I was in excruciating levels of pain and I was not able to work. Within just under 2 months, Dr. LaBuda had me back at work and I have been without any pain whatsoever. I was so fearful that my pain would never go away and would hinder my ability to get back on my feet and running/working out and staying fit. I remain very cautious and do not over exert myself by any means, but I owe my recovery to Dr. LaBuda. Lake View Chiropractic is a very pleasant environment and the doctors there are so nice and very accommodating. read more

I had only seen one other chiropractor in my life before trying Lakeview Chiropractic. I was having extreme back pain and I started seeing Dr. Marty. He is extremely friendly and kind and explains how everything works and is very patient with you. I also really like how he only sees one patient at a time so his focus is purely on you. I've also seen Dr. Scott who is also great. They have flexible hours and are open on Saturdays which was helpful. I also found that they were almost always running on time and I never had to wait more than a couple minutes which is always appreciated. The facility is also super clean and I love the design inside. Parking was also easy; street parking but always a spot(s) available. read more
