Went in at 8:20- ordered a TON of food to go home... saw some good reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try. Cash only is the only down side- restaurant was empty which my husband was worried about, but actually REALLY busy- people were coming in and out picking up their orders. The food was HOT and SO good, even after - 20 minute drive home. The chicken was SO tender- even more than Popeyes- full of flavor. I ordered the general Tso's combo and the sauce wasn't that winey tacky stuff you get at most local Chinese restaurants- but it was FULL of real tasting natural flavors. Even the chicken terriaki was extremely tender- which I haven't had that juicy since I last visited Joy Wah in Vermont years ago. We are SO glad to have found a place close to home- we will definitely will go again- Tip these guys- the food was done in 15 minutes!!!!!!! FAST!!! read more

I was terribly disappointed. Beef and brocolli with pork fried rice was awlful. Meat was rubbery. No pork or vegetables in the rice. The egg roll was dry and hard and even the fried noodles sucked. Never again! read more

The best Chinese from Halifax up through Tower City!!! I did notice the other summer there was a younger gentleman cooking and the quality suffered. But lately the older gentleman is back and the food is on point! I love it there, I drive past another Chinese place and 10 minutes out of my way to get their food! Is it a simple, strip mall Chinese Restaraunt? You betcha. Is it the best Chinese food in a 60 mile radius? Absolutely! As a family we greatly prefer takeout from here for a few reasons: a. Since there is no vestibule, if it's cold outside, it becomes an icebox immediately whenever a patron comes or goes. b. They are always very prompt with our orders, 15 minutes typically. c. I don't exaggerate when I say we've eaten their takeout for 15-18 years. I can only remember them missing a small white rice or a shrimp roll twice. That's two minor mistakes in approx. 400 visits. I've been in a lot of Great Wall's all over the place. Bye far this is one of the best one's in 3 counties. I love their orange chicken, Hunan chicken, and they make the best sesame chicken around. All of their dishes are excellent. Seafood dishes are done to perfection, and you will get enough food that you can get up in the middle of the night and eat again. I like hot and spicy dishes and usually asked them to kick it up for me. They have no problem with making your dish special for you. The people who work there are very nice. So if your in the area,,,I recommend you stop in and check them out. You won't be sorry. You get lots of food for the money. Great people Great food. I frequent this restaurant probably once or twice a week. I never have to wait long to get my food, its always prepared well and is nice and hot even after my 10min drive home. I've never had a complaint about this place and probably never will, they have very polite staff and its just all around probably the greatest Chinese restaurant in Pennsylvania.
