Very impressive. The dishes I've tried: Triple Crown - shrimp, beef, chicken with veggies in ginger sauce. They're generous with the ginger! Love this little hole-in-the-wall chinese food place. The employees are very kind and take an interest in their customers. The food is always of great quality and tastes wonderful. I recommend the chicken with garlic sauce. A pint is plenty for a single person. The prices are very affordable. They do call in take out or cook it to order quickly. This place is astonishing. It's just a small restaurant wedges between a beer store and a massage parlor. The food is amazballs and the staff has been the exact same for 20 years. This is my go to. Never go anywhere else. Flavor is on point all the time unlike the high rated Lin Garden in Palmyra. Call ahead as this place is always busy. Hence the 5 stars. This place is located in the same shopping complex as Giant and Big Lots. Typical small Chinese take out. They do have 5 tables if you want to dine in. I have eaten here at least a dozen times. All the food is fresh. Not greasy. The family that operates it is very friendly and caring. I usually don't eat anything but sushi but I will eat their Chinese! This is the best chinese take out around. The food is exactly what you would expect - mmmmm good. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff and you can see the kitchen from the front while they are busy making all the meals. I even asked for tofu to be added to my dish waaaay late and they had no problem accommodating. Didnt even charge extra! We had the lo mein, veggie fried rice, and veggies and garlic sauce. Great for fast food! We are from the Pittsburgh area, and the Chinese fast food in our area is really lacking. They only put onions in the fried rice and skimp on the meat. So I was very pleased to find a variety of vegetables and lots of meat in my fried rice at China Moon! My husband said that his chicken and broccoli was better than most around home. My son loved the lo mein. So glad we found this place! read more

We ordered food from China Moon last night and I'm almost certain there was something wrong with the shrimp in the lo mein. It tasted so bad. I did not feed it to my kids. The noodles were good but the shrimp just tasted spoiled or something. The sweet n sour chicken was good and their fried rice was delicious. Standard Chinese food. China Moon serves my absolute favorite Chinese food. I haven't been able to find a better take-out joint in Pittsburgh, Philly, or any other city. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the amount and freshness of the food you get. For example, my step-dad's broccoli (in the shrimp with broccoli dish) was actually green and crisp, not brown and soaked through with over-salted sauce like it tends to be elsewhere. I consistently order the vegetable chow fun, and it's always cooked perfectly as well with just the right balance between veggies and noodles. And I've never gotten a fatty piece of chicken there. We dropped in while staying in Lebanon. I was in love with the table service (unusual at a take-out place). Plus, the food looked beautiful, there were fresh sesame seeds on my chicken, the presentation was alluring for such a place, and hidden well in a shopping plaza in a small town. China Moon is small - 4 tables. But the food is better than any you'll find in NYC or Boston's Chinatown. Obscenely large portions, rich sauces, friendly service, and a menu that goes on and on. I highly recommend the Shrimp Chow Fun or Orange Chicken. The Crab Rangoon is delicious too - and never greasy. Even the plain fried rice has character. They are extremely generous with their seafood portions and you'll be surprised to find such fresh tasting lobster in so many of the seafood dishes. To top it off, it's a family run place, and clean. Forgo the fancier, pricier places around Lebanon for China Moon. No need to even compare with the other popular spots. I withheld a star because I've had a Mei Fun serving in which the chicken was a bit undercooked, but it's the only bad thing I can say about the place. read more
