The food is OK. The service is crappy! They rush you and they are very rude. There is no ambience because it is takeout only.

We ordered delivery through DoorDash. We ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken with white rice and 5 roast Pork Egg rolls. It was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. The chicken itself was not too bad. The sauce was awful. It had an odd odor, color and taste. It smelled artificial in my daughter's words. The egg rolls tasted okay, but they had very little filling on them. The white rice also had an odd smell and taste. The fortune cookies were extremely stale. I had to spit them out. Overall, one of the most disappointing meals that I have ever paid for. Just ate here for the first time I agree with everyone's assessment that it doesn't feel like you can dine in but when we got the food home everything was alright. The crab rangoon definitely has crab in it and not the fake kind the General Tso's chicken was good but the Hunan beef is more authentic than I would like. It has bamboo shoots bok choy carrots broccoli and a sauce that I'm not familiar with eating. If you want Chinese food quickly and are driving by this place it took less than 10 minutes to get our food to go. Give them a try but don't expect miracles. read more

Checking It Out We recently moved into the same neighborhood near the Great Taste of China. We drove past the place several times trying to decide if they were open or not. Finally one day we stopped and decided to try it out. We like to support businesses in our neighborhood. We walked in and the dining area was empty with only one young man behind the check-out counter. He asked my wife and I if he could help us and we said we would like to eat and if it would be OK to sit down. He indicated we needed to order first, so we stepped up to the counter and began looking at the menu. We then told him what we wanted and again I asked if we could dine in. He pointed to a booth and we sat down. When we got our food it was in styrofoam "carry-out" containers. While we were there, which was around lunch time, we observed several people pickup take-out orders. The food we order was good, but I would certainly not recommend "dining in". We certainly got the impression we were not welcome or expected as "diners". read more

My husband and I ordered the steamed dumplings, shrimp egg roll, crab Rangoon and Beef mai fun. The eggroll was the only thing that was good. The steamed dumplings or soft on the outside and raw dough on the inside, The crab Rangoon was basically cream cheese, and I was not overly impressed with the Mai fun. The entire time we ordered the lady taking the call was screaming in Chinese to every single one of her background employees continuously. We had to call back because after giving her order she hung up. when we called back and the gentleman advised us that they do not do delivery, even though we were told by the previous lady that they did. read more

If you want wonderful customer service, don't come here. This is somewhere to have take out or delivery only. It was dark in the restaurant and it looked like the place was closed and going out of business. As for the food, it was okay... I had the general tso combo and it was fine. We also got the crab rangoon and it was actually too crabby. There was hardly any cream cheese, which is kind of funny because it's usually the opposite. The hunan beef has a weird minty flavor, which I don't care for. But everything is edible and tasted fine. read more

Just ordered here for the first time. They were very rude on the time. They knew my boyfriend was ordered the food from work & having it delivered to the house. The delivery driver was so rude because he wasn't there to show an ID because his name was on the card telling me I needed to pay cash. Just moved to this area and craving Chinese. Decided to give them a call for delivery since I have three kids that I don't feel like getting in and out of the car. They asked for my address and then denied me saying they don't deliver to my house and hung up. Didn't even give me the chance to let them know I would gladly come and pick it up!! read more

The lady that answered the phone sounded entirely like she didn't want any business, she was very terse and came off as terribly rude. Hung up once the order was given, almost didn't even tell me the total before I asked when she said bye. Awful customer service! The crab rangoon felt undercooked and tasted liked vegetables, and the kung pao beef takes the place of the most boring Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life. Not only was the sauce so weak I couldn't taste it, but the meat is tough and chewy. When the only redeeming quality to your dish is the rice and peanuts... you need to rework your dish... looks like I'll never give this place a chance ever again, if the person answering phones at least sounded remotely interested in customer's service I'd reconsider but forget that, the combined effect is not worth another try in case this was just a fluke.
