When you walk in, you'll have to pay up front, which I liked. $10.79 for lunch buffet with no drink. The buffet has a great selection of Chinese-American food. Arrived at opening. Approx 20 people waiting for doors to open. Comfortable seating, clean tables not crowded. The Buffett was well stocked with a wide variety of all Chinese top dishes. I went for their lunch buffet and left very full. They don't have the largest selection but what they do have is very tasty. My only complaint is the crunchy noodles were quite stale for the soup. If they pre-bagged them or had them covered, maybe this wouldn't be an issue. Their noodles were very scrumptious. I also loved the mushrooms. There was plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly. They were quick to clean our dirty plates off the table. I will definitely be going back when I go to that area. read more

One of the best buffets I've been to. One of my downfalls are the Chinese buffets due to the large variety of selection. I do realize stopping in here at 11:30 in the morning offers a fresh selection. It was fresh and hot and For a restaurant that isn't very big, they had a nice offering. My last 5 reviews from all over OH, IN, and KY have all been either two or three stars. Way to go! read more

The ONLY Chinese restaurant I will eat at. I absolutely love their food and their hospitality is unmatched! The owners are so sweet and they take the time to get to know you. The wife knows who I am as soon as I walk in the door (I don't go that often, maybe once every few months so they really take the time to get to know you and remember you!) and will ask me about recent things I've told her about. Stopped in for carry out. Owners of this establishment made ordering so easy. Menu was posted outside for all to see. Person taking our order was polite and helpful. Sufficient barriers and health hazard practices in place and adhered to. Food prices very reasonable. The quantity and quality of the food was a 5 star! Hot from the kitchen and plenty of it. Our takeout food was hot and delicious. We walked-in to place our order so we planned on waiting, we were surprised that it was ready in under 10 minuets. However, Bamboo House Buffet was recommended to us by several people and we decided the buzz must be real about the good food. It was and is authentic Chinese in every sense of the word. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Loved the hot & sour soup. My wife wanted to come back the very next day. That in itself speaks volumes. First off this is in Chesterfield not Anderson. Your typical Chinese buffet. All the items you expect to see. I arrived at 2:30 and the service was great. Problem is the food must have arrived at 11:00 because it was cold and you could tell had been on the buffet too long. 4 entrees were missing and never refilled.
