    We bought a set of appliances from Durochers about 3 years ago. Last September, our refrigerator…read morestopped working. During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. ​ We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

    Terrible and abusive customer service from Manager. Bought a new fridge and the doors did not align…read morenor would it cool below 40 degrees. We paid for their 5-year extended warranty even. Mike Kelly was abusive on the phone and told me to get a lawyer. I have done just that. AC will now be responsible for all court costs and my attorney fees. You asked for it Mike. I won't be going away until you correct this defective fridge. Check the other negative reviews. It's been awhile since I have seen any business with so many bad reviews. AC wears them like a badge believing people will go away. Complaints have been made with the BBB and the Ohio State Attorney Generals' Office. Legal action, as Mike recommended to me, has been started. You have been warned.

The "price match guarantee" for 30 days post-sale is where my issue lies. Within 30 days post-sale, I found an advertised promotion at a different store that would provide an "instant" $100 off when purchasing a matching washer and dryer. I took screenshots and emailed to my sales representative in anticipation of receiving a $100 refund. Instead I was told that the other store was offering an instant "rebate" and that it wouldn't qualify as a price match. The promotion covered the exact models and colors of the w/d I had purchased. While my sales representative confirmed that the price adjustment didn't require the customer to send in any receipts- that the other store would process the "rebate," it didn't qualify for the price match guarantee because Appliance Center policy regarded it as a "rebate," albeit an "instant rebate." To me, it's a matter of semantics used by Appliance Center to avoid having to match the bottom line purchase price. I was told I could take it up with LG directly on my own. The whole thing about "price" vs "instant rebate" was very aggravating and energy-sapping. I don't believe Appliance Center recognizes its short-sighted approach to customer relationships, as its refusal to honor a $100 price difference (as I see it) left a bad taste in my mouth. Additionally, leaving it to me to approach LG without my sales representative's support sent a message of disinterest. It was a disappointing end to what was otherwise a very good experience, so I've removed one star. I nevertheless believe a 4-star rating is fair based on my overall experience, but buyers beware....

    I purchased a washer from Quality Appliances on 2/26/24. The washer was to be delivered that night…read more It was not. It was delivered 2 days later. No big deal but when I went to use the washer it did not drain. I tried every cycle BEFORE I called them. When I did call I was told someone would be out to repair the issue. No one showed up. I kept calling since the washer was the most expensive in the store AND I was still having to go to the laundry mat. They finally send someone after 2 and a half weeks. He "fixes" it and still the washer does not drain. Now I call back the very next day and they take my information again, promise to send someone out and DON'T SHOW UP! I have been getting the same song and dance from them for 2 months. I finally go up to "Quality" last night 4/24/24 and speak directly to a salesman who has write my information, which after all these calls should be on ever paper in that building, down and promises to put a replacement washer on the truck last night and head over to my house with that and swap them out if he can't fix the original one. WELL GUESS WHO DID NOT SHOW UP. Better Business Bureau and small claims court HERE I COME!

I went to the store and they were very rude telling me to leave the store, yelling and cussing threatening to call the cops. I just want my money back and their refusing to do so. taking them to court
