Anyway, it was easily explained to me the situation and a few clear decisions were explained as well by the technician from Cousino. The guy was professional, easy going, not trying to oversell anything, but coming at it from a "looking out for you" kind of manner. Unfortunately, my project just became a little less simple and I expected that to reflect in the price too. I'll say this, the job was done quickly, everything looks great, I feel confident in the work and safer knowing why he had to do what he did. The best part was the price was completely reasonable! The technician contacted me ahead of time as I had asked to make sure our dogs were put away before he entered our yard. Generators Plus also had never done such an install, but they were willing to try. That was very important, of course. During the install they were having difficulty getting the desired connectivity. Following much anguish & many discussions with Ford, Ford sent a new charging unit. So the brand new unit Ford had originally shipped me was defective. Most would not think a new device was defective, but Generators Plus was able to determine this. When the replacement charger was received, they had everything working well rather quickly. I was impressed that they were willing to do the job, they figured out that Ford had sent me a defective unit, and they were very polite, cleaned up their work and were just as friendly as could be.

I arrived at 3:00 and at 3:30 they had it running and I was out the door. You can't do better than that. I almost hesitate to post this information because sometimes it is just physically impossible to deal with an issue that promptly but they obviously try really hard to satisfy the customer.
