This might be the brewpub with the best food I've ever had. We arrived during 'Hoppy Hour' absolutely starving but first had to try a flight of their beers - and there's a lot to choose from! Really creative can art and names. My husband and I split the buffalo wings (which had some amazing breading on them - not too heavy) and the Barbacoa tacos that I'm still thinking about. I also had a pint of their Weißbier while my husband took advantage of a couple happy hour beers. Despite all we ordered the bill was incredibly cheap! Will definitely be recommending to people visiting Toronto.

Fish tacos 9/10 The fish was very tiny. But everything together was yummy. The red sauce was spicy but the green filled it down enough. The slaw was a good add too. Bangers and mash 9/10 Sausage was good. Mashed potatoes were pretty dry, they could have been a little more creamier or whipped with some milk/butter. Fries Pretty good. They had this white vinegar-y sauce. It was decent, but different

Black garlic. Great texture, crispy outside and moist inside .

We did takeout and ordered black garlic chicken wing and dry rub chicken wings and fries. We love chicken wings and the texture and flavor was both really yummy. Although our favorite was the fries just cause something so common for an order was really good. It was crispy outside and soft inside and so flavorful. Definitely one the best fries we've tasted.

This place has an impressive beer list. The food is solid, the drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic, with good service as well. We stopped by for a quick bite and a drink, and we're glad we did. The spinach dip was a highlight, though the charcuterie board felt a bit overpriced for what it was. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Overall I'd recommend this spot for a nice casual time in a modern cozy atmosphere with nice food quality and reasonable prices and will be back! Came on a Friday night and they have live music which was great. I've also come previously on Wednesday when they have trivia. Both times it's a nice relaxed atmosphere and casual. :) The tacos were yummy, only feedback would be to have more meat in the barbacoa and for the fish taco to give a heads up on the spice. Beef barbacoa came with a jus that our server said has a kick of spice, but it wasn't spicy at all - surprised that it was a cold jus and the notes were mostly salt. The fish tacos were quite spicy though! The flour tortillas were warmed which was nice. Their beers are nice, we had the nitro stout which was tasty. Other times I've had the Detroit style pizzas a few times which are yummy deep dish style. The wings are also good. Tips: They seem to change the menu every once in a while also. They have specials on most week nights. They charge extra for sauce on the side ($2 for buffalo sauce on the side with wings). Feedback/suggestions for service/ambiance: to make sure water is filled/make sure all tables get a water jug. When moving furniture to not drag furniture but lift - was quite loud for many chairs and tables disrupting the musician as well Feedback/suggestions for food: a bit more filling on the tacos, a few chips maybe since it comes with salsa and sauce already. With the wings it would be nice to have a few fries back that used to come with.

    A dreadful caeser salad.

A perfectly generic sports bar / brewpub, in a wonderfully touristy part of Toronto. The staff is just friendly enough to fool you into thinking they might care, and the beer seemed to be well received by everyone that ordered it around me. My only ctritique, and it's a strong one, is around the dreadful caeser salad. It's really disappointing and I wonder why it's even on the menu. Limp romaine tossed with undercooked bacon and a bad dressing, it was a real let down.

I didn't have food, but the beer was outstanding!! My server was so pleasant and knowledgeable. The outside patio was perfect for people watching.

Great additon to the neighborhood! There's plenty of seating available in a large space and a retail shop if you want to just stop in to grab a few beers to go! We came here on a Saturday night where they had their first ever Winterfest outside , there were local vendors and live music going on, quite fun! Inside we ordered a couple of beers, the Hop Pop (flavored carbonated water - a must try!), Smash Burger, Mushroom & Pesto Detroit style pizza and Chicken wings. Food was delicious, wings were MASSIVE, all in all I would definitely recommend to come here for a quick lunch bite or after work drinks or even a Saturday night out! Staff also mentioned there are regular events here so check out their socials to keep updated ! There's underground public parking off Richardson or across the street at the Loblaws. Also it's right across from Sugar Beach if you are around for a midday stroll. Looking forward to trying out the other menu items!

GLB Brewpub recently opened on Lower Jarvis Street and we wanted to check it out ... so we headed there for supper last night after our cruise on the Kajama. We sat inside where it was cooler. They brew beer there and you can buy beer to take home. Gord ordered Bitterballen (ground pork roux meatballs, breaded and fried, served with beer mustard) ... he liked them and would get them again. I ordered a Detroit-style Classic Pepperoni pizza (vine ripened organic tomato sauce, mozzarella and classic Italian Ezzo cup and char pepperoni) ... I liked it and took home leftovers. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Emily was friendly and took good care of us.

I feel bad giving a 3 star review. It might have been a bad time to come here as there is a cycling and running club here for re-hydration. My problem is due to the club's the service was a bit slow. It was also a chilly day which made me want to leave a bit faster. I most definitely want to come back and give GLB a chance to redeem themselves.

Big fan of GLB. Nice expansion from Etobicoke; also a great location... Lots of varieties and good walking location; parking a CHALLENGE around here (highway, no spots).. Really worth checking out.

This brewpub recently opened in the heart of downtown and offers a variety of GLB beers on tap in a casual setting. The food and service are great compared to most other brewpubs in the area and the menu has lots of options to please every palate. I highly recommend the Smash burger and Parmesan fries. A good spot to pop into for lunch or a pint before or after a walk along the Harbourfront.

Great neighborhood bar to all those living in the south core. We've been waiting to visit this place for a while and when they announced their grand opening special, we rushed to try their $2.50 pints of larger and pale ales. Both were very refreshing for a great summer evening. Our waitress, Sydney, was just amazing. Friendly and prompt! We also got to play some corn holes. We suggested it would be best if they had that gaming experience where we could drink and play because right now you can't take your booze outside. No big deal! Their food looks amazing especially the salad pics and description made my mouth water. But they seem a little pricey. They have the famous dutch bitterballen which I was very impressed with them. Hope they make the veggie version of it too. I have to find out if they have a happy hour so that we can get there early and try all the yummies while keeping it reasonable. They have a retail store which is open later than LCBO. I've always loved their beers, so it'll be good to give their retail some business instead of picking up at LCBO. :) Overall a great addition to the area and we will be back.

    Two tasting flights!

One of the staff recommended eats is the cheeseburger and duck wings. The smash burger and fries is very addicting. Maybe one of the best smash burgers I've had in a while. The duck wings are a generous portion size and a tasty sticky kind of goodness. We originally wanted brussel sprouts but it sold out so opted for the beet salad which is pretty good too. All in all, I'm surprised the food is so good! I may have enjoyed it more than the flight of beers we ordered. I told the staff to choose a selection for us. The CPA is one I prefered most among the ones I tried, with a bit more floral or complex notes than the rest. This family-run brewery and restaurant was converted from a small church and has been opened for a couple of years. Find your own seat, order and pay in the front and food would be sent to your table. The tip range suggested the same as a full service restaurant. There are six communal tables and also enclosed sheds outside for additional seating.

For a retirement gift, my boss had bought $50 gift certificates to six micro breweries in Guelph, which has been great. We've had dinner at some, but at others, I have just bought cans of beer to go (usually I put in a bit more cash and get 18 cans). This place must not have had a proper gift certificate, because I just had a "pint card" (4 beers value - $34) and the balance was rung up as 2 X 473mL lagers, for about $50. I explained to the server that I was sure this was meant to represent a $50 gift card and she said it was just a pint card and my boss must have drank the two tall boys there (while touring around Guelph to get gift cards at 2pm). Anyway, I finally took the 4 cans, which were $34 plus tax, although for $30, you could get 6 cans. I'm probably going on too long about this, but I feel like I was ripped off and this is my only way to deal with it, emotionally. Anyway, I will never go back there again, and please, never buy a gift certificate from this establishment.

Got it, I lowered my expectations and found both drinkable but diluted the margarita to combat its excessive sugariness. If anything, their menu was the perfect hearty base before a night of drinking. Having shared two of their sandwiches, the smashed burger ($21) was a hit. The potato bun was topped with two generous sized beef patties that are a little thick for a smashed burger but still had a nice crust. I liked that there was plenty of fixings including lettuce, tomato, cheese, caramelized onion, pickles, and a house sauce to give it interest. This was a tasty burger. Meanwhile, the potato bun disintegrated with the Korean fried chicken sando ($21) making it difficult to eat. Still, the chicken breast was hot and juicy with plenty of breading to give it a crunchy bite. But despite the liberal smear of gochujang mayo, it wasn't overly spicy and needed more heat. Adding some lettuce with the pickles may also help create a barrier between the bun and sauce to ensure the bread can hold up better. Maybe Rorschach's supplier gave them a bushel of the tiny potatoes, but their fries were cut so small... it's like eating Hickory sticks in fry form. You'd think a smaller fry means more crispy edges, but we just found they were really dried out. Rorschach Brewing Co's dining room is surprisingly spacious with picnic tables scattered throughout to accommodate varying sized tables. They were understaffed for a Friday, but the two servers did their best and made sure our large table was served and out in time for the concert. Perhaps they even breathed a sigh of relief once we vacated. So long loud ladies, we can go back to swigging beers.

The bartender was the only person on the floor and she was very friendly. Her service was great and we enjoyed the pop punk collection she had playing the whole time we were dining in. We ordered some drinks and for food we shared a chicken club on sourdough and a Reuben. The food did take quite a long time to come out even though we were the only ones who ordered food at the time. The chicken itself was ok, a bit bland but had some good toppings and was well toasted. We had fries with this sandwich and it was very well fried and it came in a huge portion. The Reuben was ok, instead of the tangier russian dressing I'm used to this one was more straight mayo based so the flavors weren't what I was expecting. The marbled rye could have been buttered a little more when toasted as well. The amount of meat that it came with though was great and quite hefty. Both sandwiches also came with coleslaw and a pickle spear. The slaw was vinegar based and cut through the heaviness of the meat. I wish the pickle was more crispy though.
