The 4 stars is not for the service, nor the decor but for the food and the price tag. This place's main customers are the locals and Chinese and for the same reasons, I'm sure, that we frequent it. We come here when we're too lazy to cook and keen for some good Chinese. Their dinner specials are $8.80 and range from crispy skin chicken to deep fried pork in a caramelised coating to a plate of stir fried veggies.
They also have decent congee as part of its morning menu and have a HK style arvo tea menu.
The lunch menu specials are great as well with $7.50 meals coming with rice or noodles and a cup of soy bean milk (cold or
Hot). I believe there are other options but the downside to this place (for those that can't read Chinese, that is,) is that some of the menu is only in Chinese and I can't read it! Lucky hubby can.
Great little place for a quick meal locally. I'd suggest it's not a place to impress someone on a first date unless they are a true food lover and can read Chinese! read more
