I came here for a long, lazy brunch and it was wonderful. A great position, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Queen Street, it makes a perfect place to people watch. They have great coffee, and an even greater selection of incredible breakfast dishes. From freshly cooked eggs with billowing piles of rocket leaves and pools of hollandaise sauce, to bircher muesli with yoghurt and rhubarb compote, to thick door-stop sized slices of freshly made banana bread. I highly recommend their freshly squeezed juices - the pineapple and mint is a particularly good combination - and the toasted mango and coconut bread, thickly lathered with puddles of melted butter. Pure Sunday morning bliss. The service is efficient, but a few mistakes were made with our order. Perhaps the worst part of the experience was being told that they'd run out of french toast...nightmare, but at least it made us try something new. read more
