Came in here for the red velvet waffles and they did not disappoint! The hot chocolate was perfect for the cold day!

Energy for the rest of the day! Cutie Breakfast restaurant with relaxed atmosphere in Waterloo. Waitress and guests are laid-back and both treat you like a well known friend. We started our days at this healthy little place. Great coffee! Decaf or regular both perfectly served with hearts. Granola bowl with blueberries, coconut yoghurt and almond milk isn't just yummy it gives you energy for the rest of the day. The Byron Bay Hippie breakfast with 2 poached eggs, toast, spinach and more vegetables is extremely delicious.

I loved this restaurant! Staff was super friendly and accommodating, even though my wife and I had a handful of luggage coming from the airport. I had one of their burgers (I can't remember what the name of it was), but it "hit the spot" for sure. Great food, great service, great place.

The food here is excellent however the wait on the weekends is a little tough as they are so popular. Their pancakes on the weekend can be a 1 hr wait....which is something I think the cafe needs to sort out. They promote this quite heavily and is a drawcard however if customers aren't able to order their signature dish, then it's kind of pointless. Having said that, their other dishes on offer are good and the staff is excellent. I ended up with their European breakfast which was good size and very filling. The chorizos were a little burnt which wasn't great.

I was meeting some friends here on Saturday and I was running a bit late - no dramas at all, the lovely man from the cafe made my friends welcome and told them he didn't mind they could make themselves comfortable. I had been wanting to come here for a while, so was familiar with the venue. It has heaps of gluten free, vegan and dairy free options (which I'm neither of), but enjoy a healthy option! Me friends ordered the smashed avo, which was very fresh and a choice of three types of bread; sourdough, soy and Lindseed or gluten free. My other friend had a burger, on a whole meal roll (which he certainly very much enjoyed)!! you could tell by the sauce on his face I really wanted the pancakes but was worried about the unhealthy factor. The owner (I presume), tells me they're rice flour, no refined sugar and Dairy free and not too big, so I ordered them. I got the poached apple and cinnamon pancakes with a dash of marscapone and granola crunch. They were light and fluffy and very tasty. Not to heavy at all, and considering I had a netball game straight after. I also had a delicious matcha latte. The cafe has wraps, salads, Bircher, heaps of pancake options and lots of juices and smoothies. I'd be keen to try and iced matcha latte sometime. Although not necessarily the trendiest cafe in terms of tables, decor etc, they get my 5 on delicious food and A class service. As I was leaving I witnessed the cafe owner being so accomodating to a couple with a pram, and polite to everyone they helped.

OMG. I HAD AN ORGASM IN MY MOUTH! I almost left my BF for the food! Good so good, they almost had to physically remove me from the premises!

Best pancakes in Sydney, but if pancakes aren't your thing they offer a range of other great options... the staff are very friendly and always offer great service. On the weekend this place packs out so be sure to go early. My recommendation is to do the sugar free pancakes which you can build your own. They are pretty amazing.

You order at the front register, and they bring your order to you. I've only tried their hojicha latte and taro latte, but they are the best lattes (no coffee) I've ever had. They're so flavorful and rich with a fluffy foam design on top. The drink itself is smooth and creamy but not overly sweet. Hits the spot!

They've set up shop in a teeny tiny Lilliputian cottage in Kensington Lane in the new Central Park precinct. It backs onto Spice Alley and has light-filled interiors that are all white walls and light wood and it feel positively Scandinavian. Then there's the coffee. Good lord, man. It comes served in these custom cups, they're kind of grainy and glazed and feel like they've been hewn out of very light sandstone by some unnamed master craftsman who will die a nobody but be recognised posthumously as one of the finest artisans of this or any age, Van Gogh style. The barista had the obligatory mustache but boy, did this dude know what service felt like. Polite, friendly, charming, without being overbearing. Win stars out of five. Top class, thank you and goodnight.

I've been meaning to write up a review for weeks, but struggled to choose what to write about. The menu is seasonal and changes weekly, some samples include finely cut wagyu, crusted in dukkah and served on sourdough, honey-glazed bacon with fresh avocado, and mushrooms with ricotta. Almost everything comes served with sprinklings of sprouts and greens grown on the windowsill. The menu is small but there's almost always something for everyone; however, those looking for your classic big breakfast should come prepared to settle for something a little different. The quality of coffee is not entirely consistent, but the molasses-infused sugar makes up for it. I could eat a jar of it by itself. There's also a range of sandwiches on offer. A friend recently brought home lamb-shoulder on sourdough that had me drooling. I need to be strong, three visits in one day is just too much.

And if I was going to personify this cafe, that's how it'd go. It's small and charmingly ramshackle and chilled out and social all at the same time, it's basically how I want my living room to be. The coffee is fantastic, as are the views across the new Central Park development, and weirdly the noise of the construction across the road doesn't seem to come inside. The small menu is on the spendier side, but it looked creative & wholesome. Bring a book or a notepad to write deep thoughts in.

Sebastian, the robust English chef, serves up traditional and delicious café cuisine for breakfast and lunch on weekdays and a beautiful roast for Sunday lunch. He's funny at best, though I might warn you not to sit too close to the kitchen unless you want to overhear a colorful monologue of cynicism and crude jokes. Some winning items on the menu include the "Big Salad" which changes daily and can include a delicious mixture of pumpkin, cous cous, eggplant, walnuts, raisins, and any other odds and ends the chef decides to add on the day. I recommend ordering it with poached chicken, which is as tender as can be. Another popular item is the BLT, served on Turkish bread. Careful though, it's big enough to feed your entire family of seven. If you can appreciate a good chip (or 2 dozen), Bar Mattino's are hand cut and fried to perfection. Lastly, I would highly and enthusiastically recommend the house made brownie, for which I solely blame the gain of 3 kilos. It's chocoloatey, and melty, and powered sugary and just ALL good.
