Beter than average Thai restaurant. The menu's large, and seemed populated with more fish than some others I've seen around the city. Also, they had a large board of many daily specials. I almost tried the first dessert on the board, called "Hot Love", but I was with my wife.
My wife had some beef dish that was good, and very spicy. I had pepper and garlic squid. Maybe a touch on the chewy side. Both dishes had lots of crunchy veg in them, which I quite liked.
They've got Thai and Oz beers, have a wine list and allow BYO wine, and they're even licensed to serve booze without food if that's all you want. I'd find it hard to resist, though.
It was a Saturday night when I was here, and very busy.
It's right beside the Orpheum cinema, so it's a great place for a bite before a film. read more
