Chic little vibe in their salon with decor and a tiny bit of shopping. Very friendly staff and an attentive, busy receptionist. Today was my first appointment at Riot with Haley, and she was incredible from start to finish…read more Before this appointment, I had been seeing the same stylist for 17 years, so I was nervous about trusting someone new with my hair, especially since keeping the length was important to me. Haley immediately put me at ease. She was friendly, kind, and incredibly grounding throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to really listen to me, asked thoughtful questions about my routine and what works for my lifestyle, and never once made me feel silly or judged. She also taught me how to diffuse my wavy hair, which was something I have struggled to learn. I left feeling confident, heard, and genuinely excited about my hair. If you're nervous about trying a new stylist, I can't recommend Haley enough.

I've been going to this salon since 2022 when we first moved to the area and had no complaints…read more However the last 2 times I've went here I've had the same stylist and she does the opposite of what I ask for. The last time I was there I asked for my layers to be cut shorter because they were grown out and small bangs. The hairstylist proceeded to 2 pieces of my hair shorter than the rest of it making my hair look choppy and uneven. She didn't even cut me any bangs as-well. My layers looked exactly the same than they looked before just were styled. I never thought I would say this but i will not continue going to this salon which is crazy because I used to love it. I guess the new employees are just not as awesome as the old ones. The only pleasant part of my visit was going to the restroom because it did smell nice in there. I will be finding a better salon in my area.

My aunt went here based on a recommendation. Her stylist was Meg Dudley. At the beginning, Darlene felt that Meg did not understand. She should have stopped there! But meg insisted she new what she wanted. Fast forward 2 hours, Darlene was presented her new cut and color. It was NOT what was discussed or agreed too. Now, my aunt is old school and refused to pay. The police where called. My aunt stayed in the parking lot to wait for police. Once police arrived the matter was settled and my aunt paid the bill. Now, for the dirty details. First, when my aunt paid, Meg, inflated the prices originally quoted. She took it upon herself to put a tip into the price. A very nice tip, mind you for a cut and color she knew the customer was not happy with! Now for the cut, it is a hot mess! I have pictures attached for how messed up the cut is! One side is clearly completely off in angle and no symmetry what so ever!!! Also, the length is way more than what was discussed. Meg cut a good 3 inches off. Now for The color, I personally like the color job she did. However, it is not the depth of color my aunt wanted. She wanted visible color variation of platinum blond and browns. As you can see in the pic it is not a dramatic color variation at all. All in all, Meg did not listen to her client! She was combative and defensive! She obviously has had issues with clients before. I would not recommend this stylist or salon. They have no respect for there clients well being. They have no respect for the profession they chose. Don't be a stylist if you can't deal with the clients!

Have you ever made a decision that made you feel shame? I…read moremade THE worst decision of box dying my hair several times because mid-life crisis I ruined my hair and was so shameful to call my girl Bobo to let her know I was ready to go back to the old me. As you can see from my previous review, my hair was amazing once Bobo did her magic and I ruined it. I knew I could not trust just anyone to bring back to blonder me. I made the call and was honest about the box dye. Bobo was also very honest and let me know that she would do the best she could but mostly importantly she wanted to make sure my hair would not be damaged. She truly cares about your hair and wants to make sure you still get as close to what you want. I'll be honest I was scared the box dye would come out during the bleaching process and make it impossible to look nice. However Bobo knows exactly what to do and worked her magic. Look how amazing it looks so cute full of dimension and full of colors. I mean it, give Bobo a chance to show you what she can do. I could never, ever go to anyone else. Ever.
