Excellent service, very friendly, clean and great atmosphere....today was my second visit to Great Clips. My initial visit was outstanding thanks to Marisol who gave me a great cut. I have been looking for a barber shop then just any haircut place for the past 4 years that would give a good fade. Couldn't find a single place in My area until stopping here. I would highly recommend coming here and getting a fade by Marisol. Thank you Marisol . read more

This review is for the old lady employee named Patricia! My dad came to get a haircut, he asked her if she's available but she was with a customer at the time and told him to sign and asked him if he could wait for 35 mins for which my dad said okay. My dad patiently waited for 35 mins, but after Patricia finished cutting the hair of her customer instead of calling my dad next, she then called the guy next to my dad who just came and waited for 10 mins!! And didn't even bother looking at my dad who's been there waiting!! If the guy he called happened to be having an appt with her, she should at least let my dad know but nope she just ignored and skipped my dad completely!! My dad just left and she didn't even say anything!!! Very poor customer service and will not come back! If I could give zero stars I would!!!!! Patricia deserves no stars! You suck! read more

Great Clips - Employee named Patricia has the worst customer service!!!!! Very poor service! Deserves no star! - Hair Salons Near Me - San Jacinto, California

First I would like to say I have never had an issue here before. My son's hair was so long for it to end up like this I asked the lady twice if she can do what was demonstrated she assured me yes. The reason I wanted it longer is because he has psoriasis and she cut it all off. Her friendlyness and chatter is not gonna change the fact that she completely cut his hair off. It's not even fixable. And he has to go to school with this ???? They did not charge me. But the fact that they can stare you straight in the face and say they will give you something they can't is fucking ridiculous. If you can't get the job done say so. There is nothing wrong with admitting you are not skilled to cut hair!!!!!! I'm so upset his hair was so long for it to be destroyed the way it is now and his psoriasis is exposed. read more

Alex was amazing. Professional, personable and kind. He's been licensed for seven years and has worked for great clips for five! He is such a compassionate caring soul. He makes everyone feel seen once they walk through the door. He really took the time to give me a nice trim when I hadn't had a haircut in almost a year. Keep making a positive difference in this community Alex! read more

Gone to Alex to get my haircut for a couple years now I think. He's always super chill, communicative, and you know he's not rushing by the attention to detail in every haircut. He's the only person I trusted to touch my mullet, and he did a excellent job in giving me a very short comb over (Thomas Shelby cut) 10/10 will always recommend read more

Messed up my entire hair I even gave the girl like a few dollar tip because I just felt so bad. I didn't wanna make a scene. I'm so un confrontational but OMG please be aware if you come here. read more

Best service in the area, fast, you can check in before and a very good price. Patient with Little Kids

Quick and easy. Good quality for the price. Check in at home and show up at the appropriate time. No waiting.

Highly recommend going here!! Kenia did my haircut and I am happy with it. :) I asked for a trim, curtain bangs and long layers and she did just that! She made sure i was satisfied with my cut. I like the fact that she started cutting little by little instead of cutting to much off at a time. I wish i had a before picture but here is a decent picture after my haircut. I like that it's even and the way i asked Thank you! I will most definitely be coming back read more

Once again! Great clips has found a new way to take complete advantage of their customers. They opened 5/27/20 during the COVID outbreak and have upped their prices tremendously. Price gouging. It now costs $19 for a bad haircut that once again they managed to mess up not to mention their "system" was, of course, down, AGAIN. Never going back. read more

Don't get your haircut by the little Mexican lady!!! She's has bad customer service and doesn't know how to properly cut hair. I was going in for a trim around the sides and back..After she cut off a long piece of hair that she wasn't supposed to she didn't even apologize for her screw up. And this piece was at least over a foot long! Not again! read more

Great Clips - How can you miss this? - Hair Salons Near Me - San Jacinto, California

I am still in shock! I have been going to Great Clips, San Jacinto, for the past several years. Yesterday was my last day ever going there again. I got the most horrible, uneven, choppy hair cut. Mr. Alex you really need to find a new profession. You cannot cut or style hair. I showed Alex a picture of how I wanted my hair cut. A medium length layered bob. I walked out with a dutch boy type of cut. I also told him I do not want my hair parted in the middle, which he totally ignored. How hard was that request? The manager offered to "fix" the damage. I refused, due to the fact I was too upset. She knew it was a bad cut, especially when I showed her the photo of what I wanted. They did not charge me.....wow how nice....but what about my messed up hair. NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN. read more

My Family and I have been coming to the Great Clips in San Jacinto for the past 6 years. We normally have a good experience here with all the employees, BUT today was a different story. I checked in online for me and my Son to receive a haircut. The website said it would be a 30 minute wait. So My Son and I left our house and arrived about 10 minutes later. When I arrived I was met by the rudest female employee I have ever encountered. Unfortunately I did NOT get her name. I told her that my Son and I wanted to wait for employee Marisol to cut our hair. She snapped back at me and said 4 other people were already waiting for her, and Marisol was at her lunch break. She said It was going to be a longgggggggg wait. I told her that we would wait for the next available employee. My Son and I went outside to wait. While outside other customers arrived 10 and 20 minutes after us. All of the people that arrived after us were taken before us. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. My Son and I left and went to another Hair Salon. Unfortunately Great Clips has ruined our Business relationship and I will never spend another dime of my hard earned money at this establishment, Respectful;;y submitted, Jeff Martin read more

Horrible experience went to get a trim, my hair was so uneven & choppy that I immediately had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. When I asked for half an inch & it's almost an inch difference from left to right ridiculous! I HAD TO CUT ANOTHER INCH JUST TO FIX IT!!! I left with wet hair, so I didn't notice until I got home. When I called they said the manager wasnt taking calls about complaints.. wth? I won't ever go back. GO ELSEWHERE. read more

The worse haircut I've ever gotten. Its choppy and uneven. I cant wait for my hair to grow back!

Thank you Melissa, I came in on Mother's Day with my 9 year autistic grandson who was in great need for a haircut. I wasn't sure how how he was going to do. The salon was quiet, I explained to Melissa what we were dealing with. She sprayed his hair down as I was bribing him with snacks. She did a wonderful job and I thanked her for her patience and a few breaks we gave him. Again thank you! read more

I never even made it to the hair cut. After chopping up my number several times and needing help data inputting my phone number with her too long nails and transposing my numbers twice we finally got the phone number in with the help of second employee. Now the name over and over then miss spelling Jennifer incorrectly. Are you sure you have been too Great Clips before. Yes many times not this one in particular. They both blankly look at screen say nothing. I turn around and walk out. Not a word. Nope not coming back to this place again. read more

My sister got a wolf cut and she loves it. It was really quick and it looks great. 100% recommend.

$21 to cut an inch off of my short hair? Literally 2 minutes. I have been coming here for years to get a full haircut which would take 20 minutes, that's worth $21. Ridiculous. read more

Worst hair cut my mom has ever had she wanted a tapper cut and ended up getting some kind of crew cut from the lady tons of patches and get this they still made her give the lady a tip the woman even admitted to messing up her hair and blamed it on my mom having grey hair don't waste you time here read more

I wouldn't normally get my hair cut by a stylist but I didn't regret my decision. ITHZEL, MARISOL, and NICOLE certainly know their stuff when it comes to a hair cut. Great Clips - Hair Salons Near Me - San Jacinto, California

This is our family's new favorite place to get our hair cuts! We were needing a quick hair cut for my daughter so we were on our way to the Hemet location (love them too!) but I called ahead just to see how long the wait was and they said it would be about 10 or so minutes (not bad at all, but I had all three of my little ones and waiting in a small area would not have been fun) so I decided to check out this location instead and see if we might have better luck there and we did! Not only were we seen just a few minutes after walking in but they also had a children's play table! That kept my three little ones busy for the few minutes we had to wait. Just what we needed. I was able to get both of my girls' hair cuts and my son kept busy by the play table. They were very kind and sweet to my girls and did a wonderful job on their hair! The space itself was much bigger than the one in Hemet (at least it appeared that way to me) and they had a lot more stations. If I remember correctly they also had a computerized wait list that is visible to all in the waiting area so you can clearly see how many are in front of you and where you are on the list. We weren't waiting long so I didn't really need to look at it. They also have an online/app check in. Not 100% sure how it works since I normally just walk in but might be something someone wants to look into to get your name on the wait list (or check in for appointments?) before you arrive. We also left with two $4 off "coupons" (I believe they come on all receipts) for the next hair cuts! Will be coming back for sure! read more

Wait was t too bad .. I got Amy as my hair stylist and she did an outstanding job I love the look she gave me ! It's beautiful and my hair looks so healthy! Thank you Amy for your amazing service, very professional read more

Asked for 3 inches to be taken off my length of my hair and at least 6 inches were taken off. The stylist asked if I like my layers long or short and I told her short. Well, I got long layers and my hair is short and looks square. I will not go back to this Great Clips again. read more

Great Clips - Hair Salons Near Me - San Jacinto, California

i stopped here on my way someplace else and was so happy i did. I had a great cut and will go back again if im in the area.

No no no!!! Went in this afternoon. The words upon entering were, did you check in online? No smile, no welcome, no social skills whatsoever. We did not mind the wait which was about 30 minutes. However, as I sat there waiting and watching, the atmosphere was not pleasant at all. Two of the stylists were very nice but the other two were cold and appeared to be unhappy to even be there. They were both working on the right side of the shop. Unfortunately, we got the stylist on the back right...who is pictured in the photo! She had attitude and did not listen to what he wanted and simply slaughtered my Grandson's hair!!! It was cut way too short & the sides were uneven. Obviously she did not LISTEN TO HIM. Oh how I wish I had called her on it right then but I wanted to see how he felt. He was so upset that he couldn't wait to hide out at home! I went out and bought him a hat to cover his cut! Wish I had read reviews first! Hell to the NO! By the way, this post says I'm in San Francisco! No, this was in Hemet on San Jacinto Street by Walmart. read more

The girl basically gave me layers on one side of my hair and not an little bit of layers ALOT! And the layers are so dam short, the other side looked good. It was very choppy. I DONT KNOW how she can mess up that bad? It was the darker skin lady with black curly hair. She really should not be cutting hair. I came in just for an trim and to cut my dead ends off. My hair is horrible I can barley put in an bun. It's so short, the poor lady that was trying to fix it couldn't at all. The layers were too short, she said if she tries to fix it more. I will literally have no hair left. The lady that was fixing my hair she was telling me how next time, I should do certain things to prevent the girls from messing up my hair. I disagree so much, the girls should know how to cut hair. I shouldn't have to prep my hair so the girl won't mess up. It's her job, she went to school for it. We trust these girls to perform an good job. And the whole shop failed. You would think they would apologize, or something. Give me an refund but no not one sorry. I originally came in to get my hair trimmed to look healthy for an wedding, now my hair is so messed up . I don't even think I want to attend I'm so embarrassed it looks like a 4 yr old cut my hair while I was sleeping. The lady with big black curly did an horrible job, you should never be able to cut hair again and I believe you should get fired. No one should be working there that messes up hair that bad. You really make GREAT CLIPS brand look bad. Will not be attending this shop again after the horrible experience and horrible customer service. read more

I recently took my daughter's to get their hair trimmed each lady took in my consideration and made sure that only me but that my girls were happy with their hair cuts. The price is good for me 14 bucks can't beat that. They also have me a 3$ off on the hair cut purchase so I'm definitely going to be enjoying that. read more

I decided to come here on a semi-spur of the moment decision. My Dad goes to one in Moreno Valley and really loves it. The last time I got my hair cut I went to Rumors, I would have gone there again but they're appointment only. So I checked in online with Great Clips, that's their big thing. You can check in online and save your spot if it's crowded. Our house isn't too far away, so when we got there I was number 4 on the list. We were waiting maybe 5-8 minutes and then I was called up. The cost of just a cut is $14, and then you can add in a shampoo too for another $4. The stylist I had was wonderful! She was very considerate and double checked with me about decisions. I think that's great especially if you're going from longish hair to a short pixie, she wanted to make sure I was happy with all the decisions. She was very fast too! It seemed like I was only in the chair for half an hour. Overall I really enjoyed going to this salon and the hair cut I received. I felt very comfortable here and all the stylists seemed very pleasant! You can come here and spend $20, come out looking great, and be ready to get back to business! read more

I took my daughter here, I was a little scared at first. I usually do my daughters hair at home. I never got the woman's name. She was fantastic, I still have the receipt in the car, it has a discount on it due on august 1st. The woman had so much patience. My child has autism, the woman was so attentive and caring. She was loving and kind. We will definitely be back for sure, it's a good thing I remember faces, because I will be looking for her in august 1st thank you guys for such a great experience. read more

I went to great clips for my haircut about a month ago. The place looked nice and clean inside. When I got my haircut, it looked great! The lady was very nice, polite, and very professional. It was a perfect place for a haircut read more

They cut my hair just fine and dandy. They're nice too.

I went here as referral from a friend! I had hair all the way down my back about half way! I asked the lady for two inches off and long layers! She took about two inches off but hacked at my layers! She then sent me home with my hair still wet so I did not see the full botch job until the next day! Because of her terrible hair cutting skills I had to take my hair all the way up to my shoulders! I will NEVER go there again even if someone tried to pay me to! Be very careful because when my friend (who referred me) called for me to try and complain the girl who answered the phone said the manager wasn't there and she did not deal with complaints! WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER read more

My son got a great hair cut by Jacky. Would definitely recommend her to anyone. This was our first time here and I think we found a new hair place read more

We're waiting for my son's turn when I overhear a customer tell MARISOL, one of the girls who works there, that he forgot his wallet and will be back to pay. So he leaves without paying and she's super nice to him. A few moments later, my son starts dancing cause he needs to pee. I asked Marisol if he could use the restroom and she quickly answered no, that it's only for employees. I insisted and she reluctantly agreed to let him use it. Her tone of voice and body language were sickening. My son was about to pee in his pants. He has autism and has difficulty communicating, so he won't say he needs to go until it's almost too late. If I would have gone to the neighboring businesses to ask if I could use their restroom, it would have been too late. So Marisol was super nice to an adult customer who left without paying, but she was a total witch to a 6 year old who needed to use the restroom? Even though she agreed to let him use it, she looked completely annoyed by the request. Like how DARE HE need to use THEIR restroom! Marisol was rude and inconsiderate. I understand you have your company policies and you're entitled to place whichever you want, but this was an EMERGENCY and he is a child! Never again going back. read more
