She seemed irritated that I didn't know the right number clipper size (I've never used them before) and she instead could have kindly explained them. The haircut itself was fine and we were in and out really quick. However, I have been to many salons, and was treated and spoken to a million times better than I was here. I actually don't care about chatting at salons, but I care about simple kindness. I am sure the other stylists are friendly. I think that it's great idea, but it's a bit chaotic when all the bays have kids in them. My 4 yr old son caught wind of this place and had to try it out. All of his friends go to this place, so we naturally had to go. My son has been going to the same place since he was very young and has never had an issue with sitting still, but this visit there were just too many distractions. My son's hair was cut, but wasn't exactly what we were thinking. My wife ended up taking him to the place he normally goes to get a few things fixed. Nothing major - fixing the back a bit and squaring off his sideburns. Cost wasn't awful, but for the quality of his cut it certainly didn't meet expectations. On a much more positive note - they do a great job with kids that need a bit more help and are extremely patient with everyone involved - I personally witnessed this during my visit. We will probably not return, but I think everyone should at least give it a try.
