My Salon Suite is a group of boutique mini-salons housed together in one business location. Other nearby locations include Ardmore, Malvern, West Chester, and Wilmington. I was told there are 30 mini-salons at the Broomall location, but there were 24 slots for business cards on the wall, so don't quote me. The suites are individually owned, each is its own business, with its own locking door, chair station, shampoo seat, cabinets, etc. It allows stylists to own and operate their business rather than have to be at the mercy of management, or manage others. The Broomall location is new and very cute. It's bright and clean inside, and everyone was friendly. You ring your stylist on the intercom outside, and they buzz you in. There is a common waiting room, and then hallways to the various boutique salons. Your stylist will come and receive you from the waiting room to take you back. It works! The first My Salon Suite opened in New Orleans in 2010. There are dozens of franchise locations (the site does not give a number), and more coming soon. Currently they are found in 13 US states, and Canada (Ottawa).
