Gianna is an AMAZING hair stylist & talented makeup artist! She was patient, kind & was truly interested in what her client was seeking regarding makeup look & hair style. The final result was absolutely stunning! Cannot say enough nice things about Gianna's personality and her talent with both hair and make up. read more

I love this salon, I've been going for like 4 years now. There have been a few hiccups with an inexperienced stylist (short lived) and another stylist who was just not used to how difficult my hair can be. Both times they did an AMAZING job correcting the issues. They go above and beyond to make their clients happy and use the best products. This time around Im very slowly trying to lighten my hair and I needed a cut fixed. Not only does my hair look amazing it feels incredible. Cant wait til my next appointment! read more

Tease Salon - A slight lightening with very subtle highlights and a trim. - Hair Salons Near Me - Broomall, Pennsylvania

I would never recommend this salon to anyone. They have no respect for their customers and do not care if you are satisfied with the end product. I've been to some of the best salons in the city and came here because I moved and because I saw some of their work on Facebook. I have never been told I would need 2-3 treatments to get my hair from black to caramel brown. When I called unhappy, the owner wasn't very nice and must have had many complaints before because her answer was "take me to court if you have to". Just wow. I paid $183 not including tip for something I wasn't in love with, any other salon I have been to would have told me to come in to fix it at no extra cost. This one wanted to charge me the full price and only after a lot of arguing back and forth, agreed to half price but then said you know "I don't feel I have to lower my price for this" please beware. I should have left after I made an appointment for 10am for cut, base color change and bayalage and yes was 10 min late but called to tell them I would be, then was told I couldn't get any of the services that I wanted done except for a haircut. My color ended up being done by Gianna who was the only bright spot of this experience, she tried her best but after 7 hours, I left with less money and not happy with my end color. read more

I have been going to Tease Salon for SEVERAL years and it is an incredible experience every time. The staff is kind, fun and extremely talented. I now take my very curly haired 7 year son there( who will only let Gianna cut his hair b/c she cuts it just right). My daughter who is 4 loves going due to the sheer fact that every time we are there, every staff member goes out of their way to make her feel like a special princess! Not only is this THE PLACE to get your hair done, I also go to get full face of makeup and have NEVER been disappointed. I would love to keep this my secret spot just for me but that just wouldn't be fair. read more

Bought a groupon for 3 blows outs to a new place I have yet to try. Which by the way, is hilarious because I live a block away from the new location. I made the order online which is uber convenient. I wanted to get a blow out that'll last for the next day, my graduation. I walked in and wow, this place is gorgeous. 2 floors, new equipment, no dust in sight. The owner/receptionist greeted me with so much enthusiasm that it became contagious. She sat me down and offered "coffee, tea, water" which was uber sweet. Ashley was my hair stylist. Amazing and lovely. I didn't know there were different types of blow out. As someone who looks like they know things about hair, I know nothing about hair. Ashley washed my hair and gave me a curly blow out. It was fantastic and I loved it. Ashley was always smiling and she seemed to love her job at that salon. My experience overall is fantastic. Wonderful salon with wonderful stylist. Thank you Ashley for helping me get ready for my big day! read more

Sarah is my go to stylist. She is so patient with my requests, which often are not very clear, yet I get better than what I ask for. Bonus on the wonderful people that work with her at Tease. Friendly, supportive and unpretentious environment. read more

I've been going to Gianna for quite some time now, recently I forced to go to another stylist while I was out of town and I am so glad I am back :) I was in tonight 5/23 and I left happier than ever. She nailed exactly what I wanted. Thanks girl. I'll be back soon. The entire tease staff is amazingly friendly read more

I would give no stars if I could. I bought the Groupon to get 3 blowouts and thermal style and when my friend and I got there, it seemed ok. They have good products so I guess that 1 star can go to that. They lack in any skill, I don't think they even gave us real hairdressers. Our hair was horrible. We asked for curl and needed it to stay for a night wedding. Well before I even left the salon, my curls fell out. An hour later, my hair was stick straight, so the $45 I ended up spending, I had to go home and redo myself anyway. They were very unprofessional with poor customer service and really quite rude. I wish there was a way I could get my money back. I will absolutely not use the other blowouts I bought in the Groupon. I highly recommend NOT going to Tease Salon if you want quality service. ***Update: I was privately messaged by the salon owner to take down my review and she would return my money, which I agreed to. I set up a date to come by the salon, and NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. Worst business owners ever. Do not go to this salon. They do not stick to their word and they sure as anything don't know how to do hair. read more

I got a groupon for 3 blowouts. Each time I booked with Marissa and she gave me a great blowout each time. The salon is small, clean, and quiet. Customer service has been great with whoever greets me. o am returning for a haircut with Marissa in a couple of weeks. read more

I've been to Tease Salon three times and had Ian work on my hair at every visit. I'm really happy with his work. Prior to writing this review I skimmed through a few of the other reviews to see what people had to say and I have to say that it's a shame that some people didn't leave satisfied. Ian really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final product. (I'm very picky and wanted something very particular.) I can't speak on everyone's behalf, but I can speak on mine when I say that he really has a heart of gold. Easy going, talented, totally understanding and really doesn't want anyone getting out of his chair any less than completely satisfied. Thanks Ian. read more

Everything about this salon is absolutely amazing! From the minute you walk in to the salon, you get a great vibe! The decor is cool, hip, and on trend. Each and every staff member is super friendly and you can tell that they are genuine. The stylists spend a ton of time with you, and you never feel rushed. Each and every time, my cut and color is exactly what I wanted! You can tell a lot of thought and attention to detail has gone in to this salon. The work that comes out is all phenomenal! While I have only had my hair done by one stylist, they all seem to be fantastic at what they do. Highly recommend tease salon! read more

Long overdue review! Sorry been so busy busy busy.... Anyways I would like to start by telling everyone that you have to ask for Gianna here!!!!!!! Gianna is super friendly and sweet. I had to go to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and I really wanted to get a messy french twist. (going for something natural and simple) I showed Gianna the picture of what I was looking for. I was also a little nervous that my hair might not have been long enough to do the style. Gianna glanced at the picture and basically said no problem. It didn't take long for her to work her magic and in 15 minutes my hair looked B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L~ Once she turned my chair and I saw my reflection from the front, I knew the back was absolutely going to be stunning. I left this salon feeling BEAUTIFUL for the first time in YEARS!!!!!! Crazy how a simple hair style done right can change your perception of your self. The salon is super cute and the owner is also very friendly and pleasant too. Just from one visit, I can't wait for another event to use Tease Salon again! read more

Had my second visit today, after being referred by my niece. Both times I saw Gianna for a balayage ombré, roots and cut. The salon itself is clean, rustic chic. The staff is friendly. The owner and the other staff interacted with my 4 year old, who I had to cart along with me for both appointments, letting her play with the mannequin and even putting hair chalk in my daughter's hair to entertain her while I sipped a glass of complementary wine and got pretty (thanks to Gianna). Not only does she have a friendly, easy going personality which eliminates the awkwardness of salon services, but she does great work! I've absolutely loved my hair after both visits, which is saying a lot after many disappointing visits to other salons. I made my 3rd appointment today. read more

Two Saturdays ago I went to this "salon", my hair was close to what I wanted but not quite right. After a week or so of people telling me how awful my hair looked, and how it did not look like the picture that I wanted, they convinced me I should go back and have it fixed. I was somewhat nervous because I didn't want to offend the stylist who originally did my hair. I went back and she fixed it as well as she could, and I was shocked when they charged me full price for the correction. I called back the next day and spoke with Joan "the owner", I have never been spoken to in just a rude manner. I was explaining that I didn't feel I should be charged for a correction. She told me that I came back and said I didn't want the rooted look anymore. I didn't believe I wanted that in the first place which is why I went back. When I spoke to "the owner" I explained how I felt and she became very combative and extremely defensive. She said, "We don't do any services for free, the stylist has a baby at home and she worked very hard" (not sure why I need to know her personal life, and never said she didn't work hard). She called me a chronic complainer, told me to take her to small claims court if I want and then hung up on me. I'm pretty sure I didn't get more then 10 words in, not sure what I did to be spoken to that way, and I've never heard of a salon not going above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. Not only would I never step foot in their "salon" again but I am hoping anyone reading this will consider taking their business somewhere else. They are overpriced anyway. read more

I love this place! From the owner to my stylist Ian, everyone is wonderful! I too started going here because of a groupon but I was hooked from their professionalism to their extensive training. I also like that they keep up on education and the latest in styling. read more

I love my stylist, Ian! He always knows just what I want even when I don't have the right words to explain it. He has colored my hair many times and is literally the only person that I have let cut it for the past several years. I'm SO picky about my hair but every time I leave I feel so fabulous and the feeling lasts until my next appointment. I can't recommend him highly enough!!! read more

I first brought my daughter here with a coupon for balayage. While waiting I saw so many women leave with amazing color that I made an appt for myself. That was 2 years ago and now both my daughters and I are regulars. Joan couldn't be nicer and I feel the stylists work hard to understand just what I want every time. We've gone to Brittney, Ian and Gianna for color, highlights, cuts, prom hair and makeup and products and couldn't be happier. Two friends that I sent there are now regulars as well. I highly recommend them. read more

I love Tease Salon. I started seeing Gianna a little less than a year ago. I was trying to grow my hair out and she was styling me as time went on. Unfortunately due to some health issues my hair began to fall out. I lost about 50 percent. I went to see Gianna really upset and asked what we could do. We decided to cut it short and Gianna styled it to cover my bald spots. After a few months It started to grow back but came in a very dull Brown. I have been reddish blonde my entire life and was quite depressed about this new change. Gianna suggested foil highlights that would not touch my scalp and therefore damage my already fragile hair. I loved it. When she took the foils off and styled me it was like a new better version of me. I had hair. It was still short but it was blonde again. I walked out of there so happy and confident. Something I had not felt in months. Gianna truly listened to my questions and concerns and desires for my hair and helped me gain back my confidence. Thank you Tease Salon and especially Gianna for making me feel good again. read more

I'm torn writing this review. I loved going here for several years, particularly when Brittany did my hair. But the last time I went last year (saw someone else, not Brittany) I wasn't happy with my hair - I know red is a difficult color to get if it's not your natural color, but within 2 days the color was completely gone. I wrote to the salon asking if it was normal and expressing my annoyance at spending over $150 and several hours in the salon for just 2 days of color that I liked. The salon wrote back that red is a difficult color, and that I can schedule another appointment, but no offer to fix it or try to make an unhappy customer happier. So I went to Prive salon in Edgmont which my friend recommended and have been going there since. Got the same shade of red 2 times now there, and it's held for 5-6 weeks each time... so for what it's worth, Tease lost a customer due to their response to my issue. Which is a shame because I really liked going there until then. read more
